Admin, you should do a piece on why Americans vote against their own best interests.

One other thing, the press is acting like the alleged “terrorist couple” have been indicted, tried & convicted. Of course the cops took care of that by shooting them down, but just like some of the other potential false flags, have we seen security video of the two doing the deed? Where’s the proof, and why did eyewitnesses describe the shooters as white males wearing camo? Way too many unanswered questions (as usual).

These results are totally understandable in light of the ‘times’ in which we live. Remember the immortal word of George Carlin .. “In the future, people will go running forwards to embrace fascism ..’ (or something to that extent). As has been expressed innumerable times on this site, absolutely nothing that happens in the mainstream should shock or befuddle one anymore. Up is down and down is up.

“Admin, you should do a piece on why Americans vote against their own best interests.”

There’s been plenty of articles about Obama and Democratic voters in general here.

The real problem is that the government can no longer be trusted with the power to do this or be restrained by a valid warrant based on real evidence of wrong doing.

Notice how often a warrant is misused by law enforcement when they do a raid for, say, drugs and find nothing but seize all computers and records and such even though it isn’t authorized by the warrant?

Decryption abilities will be used in the same manner.

WTF do you think he has been doing for all these years on TBP other than JUST THAT VERY THING?? Rupugs/Dems means two sides, but the same coin. Westcoaster, if you were roller-blading down Sunset Blvd and suddenly fell and cracked your head open on the curb, you still couldn’t be any more stupid than you already are.

Why don’t they just contact the NSA and get the information–don’t they have every phone call and every text stored at that data center in Utah? Or is that all a ruse?

You did that OCWS protester some injustice with that picture. She’s got a nice rack but your picture cut her off.

Posting a link to her full picture ‘cuz the size may be too large…yeah, I’m a shameless horny old man.

Thanks Rise. I think she’s kinda hot too. Plus, its obvious she’s not a feminist because her armpits are shaved, no belly per se, and is even lacking a muffin top? I like it. Besides, you don’t fuck the brain.

Mahtomedi…..IMO, Coast is not stupid at all. Once someone believes in a specific thing, it is firmly entrenched. Like an alcoholic, only that person can arrive at the decision point to become aware/change.

I also think Coast offered a reasonable request, even though it was addressed previously. Many of the same subjects are revisited quite often.

The problem isn’t that people vote against their “best interest”. The problem is that almost no one votes against their best interest. When the Bush tax cuts were expiring, I called my congressman to ask that they be allowed to expire. There were probably about 3 people like me in the entire country. Most people wanted the reduced tax rates continued for them, but wanted to revert to higher rates for people earning higher incomes. Congress – that bastion of political courage – agreed to let the rates rise only on joint incomes > $400k. In other words, they held 99% of people harmless from having to pay more taxes to cover the government spending that they clamor for.

Most Americans shouldn’t have any opinion on this Apple-FBI standoff, because most Americans – me included – don’t have enough technological knowledge about the issue to have a valid opinion. Karl Denninger says (if I understand him correctly) that the FBI could have cloned the phone in question and hacked it in short order – that what the FBI really wants is a tool to get into everyone’s I-phones. I’ll defer to Karl and side with Apple against the FBI. https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?singlepost=3400402

The whole Apple thing is a head fake. To instill false confidence in the sheeple and displace attention from Scalia’s wake. They know what works. The fucking jerks. The NSA can access anything every day. Otherwise, Snowden is a liar and his pants are on fire.

They created this crisis and don’t intend to let it go to waste. They don’t need info from Obama’s killer buddies’ phone; they want back-doors on billions and billions of phones forever and to set a precedent. If the Communist grant their wish that all phones have an NSA backdoor, then people will buy an off-line encryption device and run their phones and computers thru it. Then some Controlled Passive Terrorist False Flag will allow the NSA to demand that all off-line crypto equipment be must be registered and have a NSA back door. And on and on until we shortly have only electronically monitored Smart Pencils, Smart Toilets, and Smart Mattresses (that will allow TPTB to know your every pillow talk whisper and perversion). All hail Big Brother, The Beast and his Unholy Priest (they’d bug and eves-drop on God if they could).

Why Americans Vote Against Their Own Best Interests—-by I_S

Chapter One.
Americans vote against their own best interests because powerful scumbag socialists like Obama, Clinton (x2), Pelosi, Schummer, Boxer, Reid, central bankers and thousands of others have co-opted, corrupted and destroyed all aspects of our formerly great country like the political, judicial, legislative, financial and educational systems. This causes people to have to work twice as hard at navigating all this “social justice” just to keep their heads above water leaving them little to no ability or time to understand the issues they face as voting citizens.

Chapter Two.
When yet more scumbag, socialist political candidates like Bernie and Hitlery appear on the horizon seeking votes, they employ useful idiots like labor unions, MSM talking heads, wet behind the ears college kids and Westcoaster and his ilk to convince the sheople to vote against their own best interests. Stupid is as stupid does.

Chapter Three.
The nightmare continues as the country and the sheople get deeper in debt and dumber by the minute. The End. No really, The End is what comes next. It’s not really the end, it’s just the beginning of how all socialist nightmares play out.***

The End.

****See Mao, Stalin, Castro and Hitler for details.

When admin writes it it will be more like poetry with rhythm and fancy words.

My thought on the FBI/Apple issue from another thread:

This case tells me that I was right about the alphabet soup *intelligence agencies* (oxymoron) in that they cannot make hide nor hair of the avalanche of data they collect and that grows more gargantuan by the day! It could be that their collection and storage of data is not up to snuff but I think the issue is sorting it out.

I’ve heard a number of professional astronomers lament the fact that they have a nearly unlimited ability to gather data but sorting and processing it is the great Achilles Heel in science. Dr. Bruce Margon initially had issues in storing data that was to be collected by the Digital Sky Survey (DSS) but technology solved that issue. The roadblock is still in the area of efficiently accessing, processing and using the data.

IIRC, he likened the problem to all the data contained in the Library of Congress being able to fit on a single matchbook cover and all of the data to be collected from the first (of many) DSS’s would require enough matchbooks to physically fill the Library of Congress from floor to ceiling.

Imagine the volume of phone, text, internet, GPS, video and still images being generated every single minute. Assuming they can actually collect and store it, I reckon they have little ability to use it. So far their use of such data seems to be “after the fact” in nature rather than proactive.

I think the oxymoronic intel agencies have buried themselves in a treasure trove of data they can’t use. If the day ever comes when they can use it…….look out!
