ANYONE NOTICE THE 22% INCREASE IN GAS PRICES?

It’s funny how the MSM breathlessly reports the decline in gas prices and how it is truly a tremendous savings to the American consumer. But they are strangely silent when gas prices surge by 22% in the last 45 days. Is this somehow beneficial to the American consumer too? Yellen is worried about deflation. Are you? Rents are surging. Home prices are off the charts. Food costs are rising. Obamacare related healthcare cost increases are destroying middle class households. Tuition is increasing. Taxes are higher. Tolls have been increased. And now gasoline prices are skyrocketing. And Yellen doesn’t have the balls to raise rates above .25%. Yeah, she’s working for you alright.

In W Mich our gas went up .30c at the beginning of the week $2.19, my diesel is still $2.09.

We’re being told it’s because of the switch to summer blends………

The WTI Futures price in Oil has risen since early Feb at approx. $30.00/contract its recent high of $42.50 in mid March. That is a significant jump in a short time period and explains the increase in gas prices.

Was in Az last week and the Circle K in Fountain Hills (just down the road from the Trump protestors) was $1.7ish when I first got there. I was told it was $1.4ish a week earlier. By the time I left a week later it was $1.9ish. Roughly a 50cent increase in 2 weeks.

Yes, I noticed. Keynesians, of course, think this is great because falling prices = “DEFLATION” in their twisted minds.

I paid $2.89 for reg unleaded yesterday, but even so it cost less than $20 to fill up my Prius, so big deal. They constantly screw us here in CA because of the “special blend” required here, and they’re always shutting down refineries following the “Enron playbook”.

Shell and Aramco parted ways with Aramco holding the refineries, whose output has increased a million gallons of fuel daily, in Texas City, Texas.

Your getting bent over.

kokoda called it. Yup. I’m not griping. Even a buck ninety-five beats the near fo’-dolla of a few years back.

Be thankful for can-kicking, low level hostilities in Saudi Arabia. Easy enough for things there to get screwed up in a big way, and then comes $10 gas/diesel. 🙁

In September I was Bitten by an unknown ragged looking dog. I went to the hospital and was treated as if I were indeed bitten by a rabid dog. A few weeks later I received a bill for over $ 29,000.00 dollars ! That*s correct – 29K !
