After The Collapse: Chaos Theory (must watch!!)

A video produced by someone known as Canadian Prepper.

Trust me on this folks …… you will be hard pressed to find a more visually stunning video about politics anywhere on the internet.

The roughly three minute “intro” comes at you like a fast and furious avalanche of eye-popping images, almost overwhelming the senses. The ominous music is a bonus. Where he gets these images, or how he puts them together, I do not know …. but, is a masterful work of art.

The narrative is smooth, fast-flowing, seamless, and simply brilliant.

You will love this, I guarantee it.

Stucky,

A lot of this type of material (visually) comes from web sites like these:

https://www.videoblocks.com/

Might be useful for you when doing some of your articles.

A natural disaster like a large solar flare or huge volcano eruption would set us back. That video shows how fragile things are.

Thanks for the find.

Entropy is a very good way to think about it. Civilization is increasing order, and all such increases in order require greater and greater inputs of energy for both the advance and the maintenance. Anything that stops the input of energy, or even the increase in energy input is a threat to the system.

It is all fragile, and probably much more so than most realize.

I’ve seen several of Canadian Preppers YouTube videos. He does do a masterful job with the montages. But the narrative tends to drone on a bit too long.

At the beginning of the video it mentions how our systems are becoming ever more complex. Yes, tis so. I remember a few years ago having an argument with a woman at my church. She was a) the mother of my oldest daughters friend and b) a staff member of Senator Byrd. I believe she was a glorified secretary. Anyway, she got tired of me bashing the government on facecrack and went on the offensive. I schooled her ass all over facecrack. I told her that our “systems” in this country are just way to complex to expect that the government can just pull a few levers and everything will be alright.

Spot on video. The family in Angola that owns a 5 gallon plastic bucket will survive much better than us in America, as we do not know how to rough it. I am a big prepper, BUT I do not know how long I would survive at my age (73 Y.O.) if the SHTF. We are a nation of pussies..

The videos are great. Nice find!

I believe that there will be a rapid recovery and not nearly so dire a fall, although there will be hell holes. My view falls more in line with The Postman’s post-apocalyptic world. Small communities, cooperation, evil, ignorance and stupidity get dealt with cleanly and fairly, trust is hard won, but hope drives people to strive to make things better for all. Our better natures will come forward and prevail.

Stucky,

I would be nervous too if I lived in NJ or NY. Stop watching videos and freakin move.

Like raven, I am hoping the collapse is short lived. The elites hope the body count will be high in certain areas. When TPTB extract what money is left and have stolen most of the worlds assets, they will bring on chaos and destruction to keep us too busy to come after them.

I made it through most of the video but have to get back up the ladder as I’m cleaning and oiling the logs on the doomstead this weekend. 🙂

Excellent visuals and editing. I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation. The narration seemed to be near poetic. Overall, it reminded me of King Hubbert’s (and Chris Martensen’s) “Peak Oil”. And, if I’m not mistaken, the opening music seems to be a variation of the “Requiem for a Dream” soundtrack for the very poignant (year 2000) film of the same name regarding addiction. If so, how fitting.

When Christianity has been outlawed, the reality of Secular Humanism will become obvious. The Four Horsemen of Rev 6 will be the First Plagues. Then when obtaining survival food, remember that certain people have many times the contagious disease rates of others. Their Long Pork should be used only for soil enrichment and avoided as food or at least treated as if it is diseased in preparation and then overcooked. It would be better to serve it to your children than they be left to starve as General Sherman’s Army of Murderers did on their Rampage to the Sea when they stole all the food and left Southerners to starve . Bon appetit.

Eschatology, planned genocide (Georgia Guidestones),
Breakaway Society/the economy 3.0 (Solari Report)
Technology Dependence goes kaput, or the math =
bankruptcy of the planet. There is evidence that we as
people in the US are being set up for chaos. GMO food,
poison in the water, poison in the soil, and air (chem trails),
unchecked immigration of dependent classes, deliberate
destruction of employment opportunity (outsourcing in all
forms), ruination in education, (common core and college
PC), industrial farming, financially supported and encouraged
racial discord), near daily threats of “hackers” taking down the
grid” or the financial systems, the corruption in government,
(every form from the political elite to the common patrol cop),
the constant drumbeat of war, murder, mayhem, terrorists and
criminality, and the satanic media that promotes all of the above.

Tell the “truth,” get fired. Threaten the “system,” get eliminated,
potential for outing bank fraud?…get thrown out a window.
Refuse vaccinations? Utter the wrong words/you might be jailed.

I do not need to see apocalyptic movies to “feel” threatened.
Being in a large diverse city, (family business) is threatening
enough. It is never necessary to be “against” minorities per se,
but when folks say they wish to kill you, then caution is advised.

Last, “prepping.” The whole idea is to have survival resources
at hand/stored/available to avoid an inevitable death in the event
a resource failure. It can be motivated by strength, determination,
and an open heart, so one may be in a position to help neighbors..
and of course, beloved family members.

There are no guarantees, but even a casual observer can predict
there is are storms on the horizon.

Suzanna, I have a friend who had a German Shepherd that was highly neurotic (ball obsessive). To me they seem high strung and not exceptionally intelligent. They might be OK if they’re properly trained, but I’d never get one. My favorite “personal security” dog was a Rottweiler. She was a complete love and wouldn’t hurt a fly, but other people didn’t know that! She was MUCH more mentally stable than a German Shepherd. Our current dogs are Great Pyrenees. Highly intelligent, wonderful dogs – But only if you have enough land that they don’t piss off the neighbors when they bark all night.

Stucky, this is my personal experience! I was presenting it as my personal experience and opinion, so you can shove your “fact checking” comment up your ass. Exactly how much personal experience do you have with large dogs? Exactly who is the ignoramus when it comes to actual interaction with large dogs on a daily basis?

All of those sites you mention are quoting the holy AKC “facts”, just like you. The AKC may not be an official government organization, but they do a pretty good imitation with their disinformation campaign for some breeds and against others. Their criteria for “intelligence” is a dog that they like that is easy to train. That is not “intelligence” that is “obedience” and they left out some of the more obedient dogs like Rottweilers, because of their reputation. The AKC has also modified the criteria for many working breeds to make them less effective for working because they look better in the show ring. I have very little respect for the AKC and anything that they say. This is my opinion based on my experience, take it or leave it.

OK, so I didn’t see the Rottweiler at the bottom of their list, so at least they got that one right. But the Great Pyrenees is much more intelligent than the other breeds, including the Rottweiler, and they are not on the list. But they are smart enough to think for themselves and make their own decisions, so they are very hard to train.

Suzanna, I would highly recommend GSD’s. Ours is smart, looks the part, is aggressive when needed and is just a pleasant sweetheart all other times. They will bond to one person mostly, but love the rest of the family.

Watching the video you posted reminded me when we first got her. My son was spraying a hose at her mouth. She goes nuts over that and her teeth are bared and she is all snarling. Well, the UPS guy pulls to the top of the driveway, gets out, sees this scene, then gingerly puts the package at the top of the drive and says ‘I think I’ll just leave this here’. Priceless.

Araven, Stucky did not deserve the up your ass comment. GSD’s are very easily trained. That’s why the are a great selection for security dogs, police dogs and dogs to help disabled humans.

And I’m getting another puppy this summer, can’t wait !!

Oh, and HSF’s dogs are brilliant. I want the darn puppy of his. HSF, just read a few novels with descriptions of Navajo Dogs in them. Pretty impressive herders.

How may peace prizes have your Pyrenees won, wait, this is not about race intelligence….

Shepard’s are amazing. Likewise for Dobies and Rottweilers, no doubt. But going into the post-apocalypse, I’m actually really kind of in favor of the Dojo Argentina. They are there smart, fearless and near bulletproof. In the snow in there I would also like to have a Huskies close by. Dogs are awesome. Breeding can make all the difference, but, like people, Mongrels can always surprise the hell out of you as well.

ILuvC02, Stucky called me an ignoramus for expressing my own opinion based on personal experience. He certainly did deserve to be told to shove that up his ass. You and he are welcome to your own opinions on German Shepherds. I may disagree, but I would not call either of you an ignoramus for holding a different opinion based on different experiences.

Stucky, you watch a dog with his face plastered to a ball yipping non-stop for literally hours on end for days on end and then try to tell me that dog is intelligent and not mentally deranged. That is my experience with a German Shepherd.

@Raven

The Great Pyrenees was once known as the royal dog of France and, with his stunning white coat and imposing presence, is considered to be one of the most beautiful breeds. His heritage is that of a flock-guarding dog in the Pyrenees mountains of France and Spain. Rather than herding sheep or other livestock, it was his job to protect them from predators such as wolves. The job called for a large, powerful, brave, and wary dog. He worked independently, often on his own for days or weeks at a time, and is unaccustomed to taking a lot of orders.

http://www.vetstreet.com/dogs/great-pyrenees

lore has it that the Bernese Mountain Dog protected in inner circle and the GP managed the
outer circle…so to speak.

I am a Dobe person, and indeed they were once the “official” dogs for the Marine Corp.
They have been replaced by the German Shepard because the GS is more resilient.
Dobes are high strung and can’t tolerate the cold.

My Mr. wants a dog for outdoor work in the winter. Dobe doesn’t last, has to come
inside and lay on “her” leather loveseat. My dog is a spoiled baby girl that doesn’t
excel at obedience. My fault. In my younger years I was able to enter obedience
trials with a Dobe, and she was just perfect.

Rotts are great I am sure. I just never appreciated their looks. Too blocky,
muzzle too short. GP are a giant breed and very independent. I have my limits,
and truly the dog would be twice my size!! GS is a powerful dog…and needs to
be well trained or it will be “taking over.” Males are (usually) calmer and will mind
their female master easily. I had (my all time favorite) a male Dobe that could
communicate telepathically and obeyed with simple suggestions. As you can
tell, I am a dog lover through and through. Good luck with your GP.

Thanks!!
Suzanna

@Raven

I am not fond of the AKC influence on dog standards. Most recently,
there was a push to show Border Collies for confirmation, = standard.
Many BC enthusiasts were against joining because it could “ruin the
breed.” BC come in different shapes and sizes and breeding programs
are best when selecting for health and intelligence. Nonetheless it happened.

I know where I will get my (our) GSD. I did basic training at the farm
of a GS breeder. They had a dozen + adults. The grandchildren participated
by being models to fill out the class and demonstrate. The males were
substantial with beautiful coats. Everyone was wary of my Dobe. When we
did interactive exercises, the Dad handled the less reliable/confident dogs.
He traded me a little guy for the Dobe. The class ended, and he told me he
changed his mind about Dobes. My girl was very respectful and didn’t give
anyone any trouble.

All breeds have their duds. Please don’t judge a breed by one dud. Also,
dogs can be difficult in large numbers…a pack. One breed I have no use for
are the over bred/poorly bred pit bull group. Too many cases of attacks against
people and other dogs…unprovoked attacks.

Stucky, I thought you were Austrian, not German. I’m mostly German heritage, I think 7 out of 8 (or was it 6 out of 8, I’m not quite sure) of my great grandparents immigrated from Germany back just before the turn of the last century. The interesting thing about the crazy German Shepherd is that he had a very fancy pedigree and was imported from Germany. My friends paid a LOT of money for a dud. It definitely is easier to weed out the duds if you’re not buying the puppy sight unseen from another country. The Rottie that I had had the BEST personality, but I got to sit down and play with the litter for an hour or so before picking her out.

I have another data point on FedEx drivers. The local driver got stuck on my driveway TWICE because he thought he could get up it in 6″ of snow. I can sort of understand the first time, but the second time???
