We are Headed into a New Ice Age – But When?

Water Temperature

There are numerous studies that suggest that this particular uptrend in global warming from the 1700s low has been like a reaction high and not new highs. I have discussed this with others for running the data through our models suggests that we are headed into a lower low that during the 1700s. This may be the worse downturn. If this is correct, we will see larger bouts of famine and migration patterns. Here is a chart produced from the sediment cores taken from the Norwegian coastal region. We have been in a progressively lower trend moving colder with each wave.

Sunspot_Numbers

We can see that sunspot activity is part of the uptrend during warming periods. Everything is tied together and attempting to reduce the entire trend as being caused by a single factor is very primitive to say the least.

Government lies about everything. So why do believe think that they do not lie about this when they are justifying this as the reason to raise taxes? Just follow the money. They are powerless to alter this climate of the earth. We are headed back to the historical lows and are most likely going to make new lows. Thank God I will not be here for that. I like global warming. By the time we end up at the low, that should be around 2300. So no worries. Anyone reading this will not be here either.

They told me during grade skool in MT that we were headed for another ice age. Ice all the way to the equator would really do a lot to clean up this rock and weed out the vermin.

I’m reminded of that bullshit movie awhile back that depicted a coming ice age and ‘Muricans were massing on our southern border trying to get into Mehico to escape the cold but the beaners had closed the border. I turned it off at that point but figured the movie likely ended with a dramatic decrease in the beaner population.

I’ve heard hell will freeze over if Trump is elected, so November 8, 2016.

There is plenty of evidence to support that 25,000 years ago, there was 6 miles of ice over my head where I am currently now typing away. Add to that there is also evidence that 7,000 years ago (where I am currently typing away) the local average temperatures were much higher than they are today.

Conclusions can then be drawn that the sun is not ouputting at a constant rate over long periods of time, and that one day, six miles of ice will cover up my computer and keyboard!!!

PS … (I won’t be here!!!)

Westie,
you never give up.
From the article:

” William Collins, director of climate and ecosystem sciences at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, has succinctly made the case that humans are responsible.”

I wonder if the “Director of Sciences at Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory” has an ax to grind. I’m sure no government grant money has ever passed hands here. I’m sure there is no playing to his audience or political correctness involved, and what can I say about the editorial balance of WAPO. More bullshit spewed by the bullshitters.

Bob.

i have more concern regarding colder days ahead than warmer. the cycles of the sun dictate,

The very existence of this post proves that the case is not closed.

More inconvenient facts for the GW Faithful. There is a whole lot more going on between the Sun and the Earth than most climate “scientists” have bothered to look at. For example, we are beginning to understand that there could be a strong correlation between cosmic rays (powerful radiation coming in from other stars) and cloud formation…. the constant stream of particles coming out of the sun (the “solar wind”) blocks many of the cosmic rays from reaching earth, as well as creating other interactions with the Earth. So, when the sun is very active, producing strong solar winds, less cosmic rays reach us, and vise versa. Thus, more cosmic rays hitting our atmosphere = more clouds being formed…. see how this works? If this theory is correct, we havent even BEGUN to be able to model climate, b/c clouds are one of the greatest variables in how much solar energy reaches the surface. And this is just one variable we dont fully understand. The hubris and arrogance of “climate science” claiming that CO2 is the main driver of climate is just astounding.
