Actually allowing women in combat roles may be a good thing especially if done in massive numbers. As soon as 1/2 of all combat deaths are women and the body bags begin flowing back home maybe just maybe we will begin rethinking our asinine foreign interventions and war mongering.
Considering how often men get PTSD in combat situations, I wonder how often women in combat situations would get PTSD. I would not be surprised, if the numbers are incredibly high. Or is my assumption incorrect?

I was in my second year with the 82nd Airborne Division when they (a female senator from California and whoever she convinced) forced the Army into allowing women in Jump School. There’s only one reason to jump out of an airplane and that’s to get to the battlefield and that is for combat MOS only. Allowing women to get jump qualified at that time was simply for the purpose of allowing them the decoration as they could not serve in combat a MOS. From the very first one they had to make special accommodations, weight, equipment, standards, PT, discipline, etc.
It ruined the esprit de corps of the entire Division. Ruined it. A lot of the very best senior and middle rank NCO’s left the military because of it. Not one of those females were up to the level of the worst of the males. The rest of the units had to hand carry them through in order to meet some political whim.
I’m sure it has only gotten progressively worse and I can only hope that it is purely political rather than a deliberate plan to completely undermine our military.
Women in combat could work out. Make ’em all live together for 21 days each month with no access to men, no make up and no innerweb connection. Once their monthlies sync up, give ’em guns and bullets and point ’em toward the enemy for the next seven days. Poor bastards won’t know what him ’em! Repeat as needed.
