So instead of getting the answer of 43 minus 13 using only 2 calculations (3-3 and 4-1, vertically), common core adds an additional 4 calculations (13+2, 15+5, etc.) for a total of 6 to get the answer. Also how are the arbitrary additional calculations derived?
If that asshole teacher in the comment video who wants to atone for the “white privilege that he didn’t earn”, why doesn’t he quit his teaching job and go live under an underpass?

I’ve met many people who are convinced this is the best thing to happen to our children since M. Obama’s uber healthy lunches.
On “more confusing” examples it quickly cascades into unsolvable insanity.
This is pretty classic control from the state though:
First change what words mean (freedom, peaceful, liberal, conservative)
Then change what a family is (single mother, 4 daddies, 5 babies is a family!)
Next, change what PEOPLE are (males are females, females are males, brown is good, white is bad. asians? fuggetabout ’em)
Now we also change hard facts, like science and math (common core, CO2 kills us all, coal is bad, tesla is Jesus)
I’m not sure whats left to assail.

What future do your children have if they can’t even work with simple concepts like a circle which involves, SHOCK, Pi !!

I have a revelation for these common core idiots that use friendly numbers as an excuse.
Old fashion subtraction already does that.
It uses numbers from 0 to 10 to do its magic.
Even a retard can use it as all he has to to count on his fingers.
