The Militarization of the US Goes Beyond Police Departments

Are they arming themselves against terrorists or you?

Via Telesurtv

The Internal Revenue Service spent nearly US$11 million on arms.

Nonmilitary federal agencies have spent almost US$1.5 billion on guns, ammunition, and military-style equipment.

A new report by a taxpayer watchdog group reveals that the growing militarization in the United States goes beyond police departments by showing how nonmilitary federal agencies are arming themselves like military units.

The report “The Militarization of America” examines government expenditures by 67 federal agencies between 2006 and 2014 and found that they spent US$1.48 billion stockpiling guns, ammunition and other military-style equipment.

“The recent growth of the federal arsenal begs the questions: Just who are the feds planning to battle?” American Tranparency’s Adam Andrzejewski, the author of the report, recently wrote in Forbes.

The report states that “administrative agencies including the Food and Drug Administration, Small Business Administration, Smithsonian Institution, Social Security Administration, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, United States Mint, Department of Education, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and many other agencies purchased guns, ammo, and military-style equipment.”

For example, the Internal Revenue Service spent nearly US$11 million arming itself, while the Environmental Protection Agency spent US$3.1 million.

The report also states: “The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service spent US$4.77 million purchasing shotguns, .308 caliber rifles, night vision goggles, propane cannons, liquid explosives, pyro supplies, buckshot, LP gas cannons, drones, remote controlled helicopters, thermal cameras, military waterproof thermal infrared scopes, and more.”

“As the Obama administration and its allies are pushing hard for an assault weapons ban on private citizens, taxpayers are asking why IRS agents need AR-15s,” wrote report author Andrzejewski. “After grabbing legal power, federal bureaucrats are amassing firepower. It’s time to scale back the federal arsenal.”

This has been known for some time now, and the mainstream dismissed those sources who pointed it out when it got started as tinfoil hat nutcases and even denied the purchases were at all unusual.

Some of them even went to the point of denying this was actually taking place at all, claiming it was just rumor and not actually happening, until the actual government purchase orders and bid requests were presented (all bid requests are readily available online but there are so many thousands of them continually rolling over it is really difficult to find one unless you know where it is: One source https://www.fbo.gov/, there are a number of others as well).

Readers here will probably realize otherwise, but the general public is convinced this is normal without any sinister implications or (more likely) just totally ignorant of it.

The future is not so happy and peaceful as some of our leaders seem to want us the think, so be prepared for it.

All the weapons in the world won’t save them. Most of the .gov employees are self-serving tax feeders who are working for their retirement. When push comes to shove does anyone really think that Deshawn, Juan or Irving are going to risk their lives fighting for the .gov?

lysander….maybe I’m wrong, but I think history shows gov’t employees with guns will shoot the general population. They mostly all ‘follow orders’, and killing is fun, both animals and humans (history).

the key is that “the people” are dehumanized first, otherwise there will be dissenters.
but if we are looked down as sub-human, they will take pleasure in the violence.

(this is how Muzloids are so capable of killing infidels)

What is really going on?

All arms/munitions manufacturers must fulfill a gov. order before any other.

Why is it hard to find you favorite rounds on the cheap?

This is gun control by proxy, the gov knows it is actually making an investment, with a dual purpose.
1. they keep the pleebs from stockpiling by keeping the supply chain diverted to their stockpile
2. Everyone knows that all these new supplies can be used to help our friendly jihadi freedom fighters, cause gov is terrible at tracking inventory and things always go missing, and no one is ever held accountable.

Tha article is correct. I’ve seen evidence of it going back for 10 years or so.

In an army base town near me, I’ve been seeing fat, soft-handed assholes in black BDUs with service strips that read FDA (and other bureaucracy antonyms) for years. They are there getting weapons training on the base.

The base also has state police cars coming and going all the time, probably for the same reason. I saw an armored car painted and badged like a state police car coming from the base, also.

When the SHTF it will all depend on what the national guard commanders do.They have the real arsenal in my neck of the woods. If they join government agencies it will probably be the end of this republic of America. If they stand with the constitution then the public will have some hope.

“Nonmilitary federal agencies have spent almost US$1.5 billion on guns, ammunition, and military-style equipment.”

So this is also prepositioning of equipment and supplies? Mike Vanderboegh has talked about how that stuff could fall into the hands of citizen militias if it hit the fan. Which I pray “it” does not.

I don’t think the FDA employees will be in the street
shooting any time soon. Consider the arsenals accumulated
by the gov agencies will be given over to professionals.

FWIW, if that’s a real picture of government people who are being issued and taught firearms (not some staged photo thing with actors) then they are standing way too close to each other and have fingers on the trigger as well to be using them (finger on the trigger unless ready to fire is an example of dangerous firearm handling). It also seems there is a lack of eye protection to be on a firing line, whether firing or not.

IMO.

Well I’m not one into cospiracies but I’d almost say the owners are nervous the servants are getting suspicious as to why their bottom is always sore, and just want to be ready to deal with any ungrateful servants.
