Interesting that Clinton’s term had a positive slope that changed when Bush the 2nd took over. Who are the supposed 40% of us who decided to start trusting the government during that time frame and what were they smoking?
Was gonna post same re the Clinton data you mention.
But, in hindsight, do you trust it now?

I think the chart shows the inflated levels of trust claimed by polls. Reality is much lower,by half maybe.

BTW, I agree with most of what you offer; the other day on Elie Wiesel – I just didn’t like it when someone dies and then someone slanders that individual (they can’t reply to that slander since they are dead). In other words, a cheap shot. FWIW

the slide for me began with mcnamara, what an asshole, how many aviators dead because of the future head of world bank, cash for bodies. by jimmy peanut head carter’s 2nd day in office my faith was approaching subzero.
