Questions of the Day, Weekend Bonus Edition

Now that Trump has secured the nomination, has your opinion of him changed in any way in the past year? For that matter, has your opinion changed of the Hildebeast in the last year? Are you tired of the same old story? Is it time to turn some pages and roll with the changes?

From a ZH comment, a new slogan for the Dem. Team:
Kaine and Unable 2016

No change on HildeBeast
Trump +++++ (if only he can win and do 1/2 of his agenda)

Trump came through the convention without having the nomination stolen away from him by the neocon establishment. He wasn’t assassinated and there wasn’t any major meltdown due to protesters. Then he stood up there and said TPP wasn’t going to happen on his watch – to a room full of unthinking “free trade” zombies who nervously sat on their hands. All in all, it went as well as it could have. My opinion of him hasn’t changed. He’ll build the wall, he won’t deport all of the illegals, but maybe he’ll get rid of the criminals, he’ll stop TPP, he’ll impede immigration by Muslims. He won’t start WWIII with Russia. He’s the best we could hope for at this point. He probably won’t call anyone a Mexican again – even if they are one.

I like trump more and actually achieved the impossible, i transitioned from strong dislike of hillary to a burning hate for her and utter disgust for all her supporters.

Still surprised the nomination wasnt yanked from trump.

No matter who wins the average American will be bent over once again and have the gooberment shoved up its collective ass without any lube .

I’m with ya on that one Buckhed…. either way – not very much will change under either Hillary or Donald.
It’s going to take years to bring America back to where it once was.
Eight years of term (if it even gets that far) will not undo the massive damage that has been wrought over the last twenty years.

1. While heretofore I have not sung Trump’s praises, only agreed with him on our borders and the subject of Muslim immigration, my opinion has softened a good bit, perhaps because so many faces of the establishment – both Democrats and Republicans – hate him. Add those things to the unmistakable fact that he would make a far better president than Hillary, and I would say that indeed, my opinion of him is higher now than it was a year ago.

2. Yes, my opinion of Hildebeast has changed greatly in the last year. A year ago I truly did not believe that I could hate the evil shrew more than I did. Now I realize just how wrong I was. It turns out that there was still a good deal of meat left on the bone of hatred for this fucking bitch.

3. Yes, I am..I’m past being tired of the same old story….I am as mad as hell and I don’t want to take it anymore.

4. Yeah, let’s make the break……Let’s Roll…..

I didn’t think it was possible for me to dislike Clinton any more than I did, but I do.

I’ve flip-flopped several times on Trump and he’s back in the negative column as well to the point that right now I couldn’t vote for him. His pick for VP, Pence, is a strong negative, especially when it comes to his support for things like the TPP and his anti-libertarian views. But the thing that really capped off this flop into the negative was Trump’s acceptance speech. I got about a half hour in and he started ranting about how he’s going to be the “law and order” candidate. Sounded like he was gung-ho for creating a police state.

Annie…there are always reasons to dislike/disagree with any presidential candidate. You should reconsider your decision not to vote: Unless something very unusual happens, one of the two Will Be our next President, thus you should decide which one you prefer and vote.

Many important issues, but the most important above all others for the future of the country is the Supreme Court appointments.

Kokoda, why should I vote for the lesser of two evils? Evil is evil. If we only ever vote for the two parties that are two halves of the same bad thing we will only ever have that bad thing that they are the two halves of. I almost always vote and I usually vote Libertarian because they’re not the Ds or the Rs. You can say that I’m throwing away my vote but I say that you are throwing away your vote if you are voting for the lesser of two evils. If everyone who is voting for Trump as a vote against Clinton or Clinton as a vote against Trump voted for a third party it is likely the third party would win.

Unfortunately this time the Libertarians sold out to TPTB and we now have three parties that are all part of the same bad thing. I don’t think I can vote for Gary Johnson. So maybe I’ll write in my vote for Andy Basiago. I certainly don’t agree with him on everything, but at least I know that he’s not working for TPTB (or is he? cue spooky music 🙂 ).

Annie, your one of the few here that watched and listened. Most folks here were on their prayer mat in front of the boob tube worshiping Bombastico and Amen’ing to every Hitlerite thing he said.

My goodness, you should have seen their orgasmic convulsions when Trump snarled, ‘We don’t want them in OUR country!’ How Reaganesque (NOT).

That alone was worthy of a soundbite moment to be replayed over and over.

IndenturedServant

I didn’t give two fuck about either of them 18 months ago and I have no further fucks to give now! That’s change I can believe in!

If you are on the fence, just for fun you should watch an unscripted Hitlery speech and a Tricky Dick Nixon press conference on Youtube.

Both Hitlery and Tricky Dick are, to borrow a phrase from Harry S Truman, “shifty-eyed goddamn liars.”

The difference is that Hitlery is without question even more dishonest than Tricky Dick. Not only is she a sociopath and a pathological liar, she profits from “public service” in sleazy and disreputable ways that only the Clintons could have dreamed up. Hitlery and her Clinton Foundation make Tricky Dick Nixon look like an angelic altar boy.

I quite understand that voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil. But there are degrees of evil. I don’t view Donald Trump as an ideal solution. But the fact that John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Ted Cruz all refused to endorse Trump are points in Trump’s favor as far as I’m concerned. On the other hand, Hitlery is so evil that she might as well be the Bride of Satan.

That makes the choice very easy for me. I’m going to vote for Trump, and it’s been many, many years since I voted for a Republican.

Lets see if i get this in chronological order with Trump.
1. It was bring in the clowns.

2. It was he was better off financially to take his inheritence and invested in a Vanguard fund.

3.hes stupid. Father got him into Warton as well.

4. Bill Clinton was a sexist so is Trump. According to that NY Times artical. Latter regected by the lady in question.

I can go on and on.. The media never tired of trying to find a crack. Imagine if Trump had Bill or Hillarys record.

The establishment is trying to use social pressure in hopes that the No-Thinks will kowtow.
