Stucky QOTD: Lone Wolf in a Binary World

Ms. Freud is a lifelong Demoncrap …. something I did not know until after she hooked me in her clutches.

Ms Freud’s son (the stockbroker) and his wife (corporate lawyer) don’t like Trump because he’ll upset the status quo.  They LOVE the status quo … for them, life in America is f.a.n.t.a.s.t.i.c.!!

My mom and dad think Trump is just a Big Fat Liar.  (However, there may be hope for dad.  I was watching TV with him on Friday … and when the Munich shootings came up he said;  “Goddammit, Germany needs a Trump!! France needs a Trump! All Europe needs a Trump!!!”  Seriously.)

My seester (and, husband) is a fucking libtard nutjob unlike anything you can imagine. She would vote for Satan if he ran as a Demoncrap …. and she’s going to get her wish with Hillcunt.)

Son #2 told me yesterday he does not like Trump because he’s “hateful and bigoted“.  He’s going to write in Kasich. Really.

I am a Lone Wolf drowning in a Sea of Stupidity. This is how I feel about them sometimes …

Q1:  Are you a Lone Wolf in your family also?  How do you survive?

MY BINARY WORLD OF “US” vs “THEM”

Fact #1:  One of two people will be America’s next POTUS; Hillcunt or Trump.

Fact #2: I am NOT crazy about Donald.  I am NOT a Trump-eteer.

Fact #3:  Hillcunt is an un-convicted felon. She is pure evil. She will complete Oreo’s plan to fundamentally change Amerika … and utterly destroy what is left. This election will determine America’s fate.

Fact #4:  This can only mean one thing.  Despite Trump’s shortcomings, he is one thousand times better than the Wicked Witch of Kankles.

Fact #5:  The choice is binary.  Any vote not for Donald, is a vote for Hillcunt.

Fact #6: Those who are not with us (Trump), are against us.

Conclusion:  Those who are against us, are our enemies.

Q2:  Am I right?

No lone wolf here. We may not be entirely on the same page but close. I thunk my idiot brother who VOLUNTEERED to move to Mordor on the Potomac a year or so ago is votin’ tRump I think but once I introduced them to the SMOD platform, the rest of us are firmly rooting for SMOD 2016.

Stucky said:

If, between the election and inauguration day the electee gets whacked, John Boehner becomes President. It an outside chance but still possible.

Fact #2: I am NOT crazy about Donald. I am NOT a Trump-eteer.

I knew you were a good man Stucky. tRumpeteers are the 2016 equivalent of Obamateers during the last two (s)elections. Mirror image in fact.

Fact #3: Hillcunt is an un-convicted felon. She is pure evil. She will complete Oreo’s plan to fundamentally change Amerika … and utterly destroy what is left. This election will determine America’s fate.

Uhh no. ‘Muricas fate was decided before most of us were born. Our owners are nothing if not patient.

Fact #4: This can only mean one thing. Despite Trump’s shortcomings, he is one thousand times better than the Wicked Witch of Kankles.

We clearly need to define “better” but I’ll give ya that one.

Fact #5: The choice is binary. Any vote not for Donald, is a vote for Hillcunt.

Fiction but if it makes you sleep better, cling to it!

Fact #6: Those who are not with us (Trump), are against us.

More fiction. I didn’t believe that horseshit when it came out of Bush’s cockholster and I’m not believing it now. The statement is just a weak control mechanism for sheople.

I understand your point completely. Here we are, Nick and I, all set up to weather the coming Social Realignment and our pride and joy has decided that being on the cutting edge of technology at a research facility like APL in Baltimore is an opportunity he can’t pass up if he can get hired there after graduation. Or, if he can hire on with any one of their partners there in the Beltway.

Stucky, I’ve always been “for” Trump in the sense that I liked him for the single reason that the establishment appeared to fear and loathe him. And I’ve always been “against” the Clintons being able to catapult themselves from small time drug and weapons running in Mena, Arkansas into an International House of Favors for Hire.

Stucky, I agree with you about most of this stuff, and I get it that you are not a trumpeteer, more of a reluctant trump supporter, but your position that “by not voting for trump, you are voting for hillary” is the definition of sloganeering. You are supporting trump not because he is perfect, but because you view him as the best of two options, the lesser of two evils. Thats fine, thats your right as a (kinda-sorta) free American. However, that kind of thinking is a large part of the reason we find ourselves in this situation.

Gator

July 25, 2016 5:37 am

Wow. Speaking of convoluted thinking. I don’t mean YOU are the problem with america. I mean that the entire “lesser of two evils” line of thinking is a big part of the problem. This is why the republican party doesn’t listen to the little guy, because they fucking KNOW that they can trot that line out and cow people into voting for them. My main point is that if voting for trump doesn’t stand on its own merits, if you can’t list real, solid reasons to vote for the man, you shouldn’t do it. Simply stating that we have to vote for him because hillary is terrible isn’t really a good reason to vote for someone. It sounds EXACTLY like what everyone said about voting for romney last time. In the last election, I still had facebook, and I can’t tell you all the grief I got for stating that I was voting for the LP or writing in Ron Paul.

And no, Im not claiming to be “morally superior” to you or anyone else by not voting. I just don’t see any options I can really get behind, so I plan on staying home. I may change my mind, I may not.

Its also funny to hear you, Stucky, insisting we vote for a guy who can’t stop telling people how much he loves cops. Loves them. You put more anti-cop posts on here than the rest of the people combimed, and here you are insisting we support trump, who will grow the police state, guaranteed. Do you think cops are likely to get better under trump? I don’t.

I’ve always been the black sheep/lone wolf in my family, there was a brief period of a year where I was accepted, but, back on the outside looking in again, it’s fine with me.

Trump says: “We aren’t winning anymore”
I’d like to know, who is the “we”?

Winning in washington is the wall street bankers win, and I’m still not so sure about Trump and any ties he has to bankers, I’m positive that under another clinton presidency, Wall Street will be forever grateful, and so will the clintons.

So, we lose.

Trump is far from the perfect choice, but he’s my choice over clinton.

My mother in law is a lifelong Democrat; whole nine yards. Voted for Barky twice. The lady is also highly networked. She could make friends at a funeral home. Yesterday she asked who I was going to vote for, to which I said “Trump.” She nodded her head in agreement, and said “yeah, that’s what everyone is saying.” She said Hillary was just out for Hillary and couldn’t fathom the Clinton duo being back in the White House. Then she went into a 5 minute screed about how Obamacare has fucked so many of her friends. I never though she’d vote GOP, not in 100 years. Makes me think Trump is going to win by a landslide that “nobody” predicted.

Same words yeah but Repukes and Demoscat are closet butt buddies who are both playing for the “fuck you America” team. Neither of them will ever do anything to lessen their tightening tyrannical grip on us…………ever! In the same way that every other president elect has done the backpedal shuffle after (s)election day, so it will be this time around.

I’m not anti tRump, I’m just not pro-politician of ANY ilk anymore or ever again. I don’t know HOW BAD things will get under Hitlary but the BAD is coming with or without her. I’d rather just face the music now and get the fuck on with it. The sooner we hit bottom, the sooner we can go a different direction. This interminable wait is killing us slowly. ‘Murica today is like a waterbuffalo that got bit by a Komodo Dragon a few days ago. One little bite won’t kill the buffalo but the massive infection that has set in will. We just need to see the infection through to the end and start over. It’s a similar approach to tRump giving Cruz enough rope to hang himself.

Thanks but I’ll pass on the Hitlary exposé. It’s impossible for me to have a lower opinion of the cunt than I do now and there’s no need to spoil my appetite for dinner later tonight.

People suffer from Normalcy Bias. They think everything is going to go on as before. Life is just one continum.. The thought that no government of any kind has lasted for ever , never occurs to whom you speak.

Let alone the value of the currency, i.e. , meaning people’s savings and assets are wholly dependent on the confidence of the people at large, could be wiped out like Wiemer Germany in a short period of time .

No the people you speak of, live in a strange world. Until, the moment those of us have warned about comes to pass. Then they will lose faith in all the government propaganda as well.

As best I can tell all of my family are on the trump train, some actually were working at the local trump organization, I don’t know all the details of that because those (young couple in their 30s) were family I rarely have any contact with.

I had a short conversation with one of my renters (young idealistic butch lesbo about 30) that I know is a liberal. This was just before the California primary. She was a Bernie supporter and at that time it was clear that Bernie wasn’t going to survive and the choice would come down to Hillary and Trump. Her comment was something to the effect that she would never vote for Trump but she didn’t think she could bring herself to vote for Hillary either.

Going Galt was our solution. I don’t know if it will make any difference in the long run, but that’s not our concern. Every day we improve the world in the limited way we are able to and that’s good enough. And in the meantime, we have each other and that’s more than most people ever get.

As for Mordor?

I have to take comfort in knowing that my friends and son know how to get here and should know the warning signs to do it.

We knew we were probably going Galt when we came here, but in all honesty, I held out some glimmer of hope that we were just moving into a new phase.

I have, in my possession, a photocopy of a handwritten letter from a former POW at Zentsugi Camp in Japan, in which he discusses the agony of spending years in the dark hole in the ground in which he was placed for stealing sugar from the warehouse where the prisoners performed hard labor. In the letter, he tells of the moment the door to his cell was kicked in and a big huge Aussie was standing in the blaring (to his light-starved eyes) light off the low watt bulb outside his door. He believed it was the Angel Gabriel come to take his spirit home, but later discovered it was just a brave Aussie who heard they’d put one of the prisoners in solitary up in a prison on the hill. After commandeering some local trucks, he’d gone up the hill to “get him back.”

Would our allies have the same devotion to bringing every man home these days? I think, in many ways, our country has gone “lone wolf” under the administrations we have seen in our lifetime.

“Go Trump.” The obligatory phrase so Stucky won’t call me names.

Thanks Maggie,
That was a little bit of tough read for me. One of my first jobs in HS, I worked for a ww2 vet. I had little idea of the experiences he had.
He was a guy when asked a question, would speak plainly and directly, even when it was a bit obvious that he was hesitant.
When we had a seemingly simple conversation of those days, he told me of a few events… then produced and old volume of photos, that he had kept. I never asked, but these photos were not amateur shots.
Many images of war weary GIs, barbed wire, gates, housing that appeared to be barns.
Gallows.
There were no uniformed men in those pictures. Just desolation.
I wish I’d never seen those images.
But, maybe,it was a good thing that I did.

With you on this one, don’t like trump and was going to have a hard time voting for him. However I can’t vote for someone as corrupt as Hillary who will do nothing to halt the path of this great country to bankruptcy and ruin with government control and therefore I have to vote for whoever is most likely to beat her.

I don’t think our end destination can be changed but got to vote for a possible change, no matter how unlikely. I am just hoping trump can find a way to fire a few incompetent government employees.

No respect for your stockbroker/lawyer relatives, I am in banking in NYC and have it pretty good under the status quo but you have to be evil to want to sustain a bad system that benefits you while bankrupting our children and grandchildren.

My family is mostly reluctant trump supporters, Im the odd man out. Same with my wife, and her hispanic family. Most of them are not real big fans of trump himself, just agree with a lot of what he says, and are sick to death of both the govt itself and the GOP. Its funny, my family(both on my and my wife’s side) are the opposite of what the media tells us are trump supporters. My parents are quite well off. Not “millionaire one percent” types, but they have done very well with the current climate, but they still support trump. My wife’s family is non mexican hispanic, and every single one of them supports trump. There is an old cuban couple my inlaws are very good friends with that came here shortly after castro took over, and they fucking love trump. This old man gave me a lecture when I told him I was voting for the libertarian candidate for governor in florida, saying that while rick scott may suck, not voting for him I might was well vote for charlie crist. Well off people who benefit from the status quo, and a bunch of hispanics, all of which support trump. Kinda funny

While I do appreciate what trump has done, I still have my reservations. Since Gary Johnson and the LP have turned into such a shitshow, especially with the very un-libertarian VP pick, my current plan is to not vote.

From Indeed.com for Colorado:

Assistant Field Campaign Director – Beat Trump!
Grassroots Campaigns 5 reviews – Colorado

Donald Trump has built his candidacy upon his appeal to and encouragement of every kind of bigotry. He has categorized millions of Latinx people as “criminals,” called women “dogs” and “pigs,” and promised to ban Muslims – a diverse population over 1 billion strong – from entering the U.S. His words are entrenched in racism, sexism, and xenophobia, and they have incited violence against women and people of color at his rallies and throughout our nation.

Furthermore, Trump’s running mate, Governor Michael Pence, has opposed and decried legislative decisions that prohibit discrimination against LGBT people in the workplace, military, and beyond, and has waged a deeply concerning war on women’s reproductive rights.

The devastation that a Trump/Pence administration would cause to our liberties and to the country as a whole is immeasurable.

Never Trumpstrers et all love to talk all about the man’s shortcomings.

When was this he last time we elected a president without shortcomings? I have come to believe he is a lot more authentic than anyone who has run for POTUS in quite some time and that is what scares the shit out of the “establishment”.

It is possible that he means what he says. If Trump turns out to be a “law-and-order” president lots of heads will roll. Orange jumpsuits will be in vogue in Washington & New York.

90% of my friends and family were all about Bernie. Some still believe he will try and steal the nomination from Hillary at the convention. most, maybe two thirds, have seamlessly switched to Hillary cause they are die hard liberals. The rest are having a harder time swallowing that particular pill.
My sister has told me she intends to vote for Trump over Hillary, even though she’s still feeling the Bern. She knows Hillary is, literally, the rigged system. Not a proxy or symbol. So The Donald is her vote against the status quo, even though he doesn’t represent her political beliefs in the slightest.
I haven’t fallen into the “fate of America” mindset with the accompanying need to vote for Trump or Hillary or the Bern Unit. So in that sense, yes, I am a lone wolf. I survive with TBP.

I mentioned yesterday that we have a brush fire west of us on the other side of the mountain in Acton. The smoke was bad yesterday, today it looks like a dust storm with one block visibility. The sun was looking yellow and now it looks red, we have almost 3 hours of daylight left but it looks like sunset. They evacuated folks from Acton, a rural community some 15 miles from us, the fire has been threatening to come over the crest into Palmdale. My wife’s niece came by yesterday to pick up granny. I’m just chilling, hoping it doesn’t get so bad that it makes it hard to breathe. Sometimes, that happens. We had a brush fire directly south of us one time and that smoke was bad enough to choke you.

Palmdale has always been known as a bedroom community and lots of folks commute to the LA basin, traditionally called ‘down below’ by early AV residents. They closed the 14 freeway and that will impact a lot of folks tomorrow. My daughter says she will not go to work tomorrow but I say, these brushfires tend to burn for days.

Sadly my mother and father (silent generation) watch faux and parrot it all the time. As soon as they start talking about this shit storm, I know exactly where their point of views are coming from. They will most likely vote for Trump. My sister leans towards my independent views, but isn’t the most savvy when looking for info. She will vote for Trump if she votes. My step sister and brother in law are a question mark. I think they will go Trump as they know Schillary is the devil, but I’m not 100% on that call.

I know what will come with Schillary: disaster on every front.

I don’t know what will come with Trump. He is unstable. He talks a lot of shit without really defining his positions. It’s all beautiful and I love them..but…BUT WHAT? SAY IT DAMN IT!
That’s entertaining and all but this is the big leagues and unless he is holding his cards tight to avoid being shot because his policies are going to upend the status quo utterly (banking and monetary system)…he needs to be a little more forth coming.

So for Q1: I am a lone wolf, I don’t know how I’ve kept it together for so long. My wife is a foreign national and is largely ignorant of this shit. That’s my escape route if it all goes sideways.
Q2: A vote for Hillary is a vote for treason. How is treason punished again?

Q1- 50/50 and I survived Obama. They sense the change coming, I hope they are as amenable. Dems are in total damage control, tectonic shifts under their feet, I put my odds on The Bern, if not, they are Fucked and the top tier knows it. Trump could actually jail, or worse, many of them.
Q2- When it comes to voting, yes. I will have a genuinely hard time finding respect for any that actually cast a vote for Clinton. Those that do not vote for Hillary, peace.
It appears to me we are going to get more truth than we can collectively handle with the Trump presidency. Both, the Bush Dynasty and the Clinton Dynasty are set up for spectacular falls, Trump will burn both. It will be painful for all but probably necessary. Bankruptcy, witch hunt, book it. Let us hope that does it and we can retain the Republic. Darker alternatives are lurking.

My hope is, that at the debates, Trump wil get under Hitlery’s skin so much that her fake mask will fall off and the horns will pop out of her head and the pointed tail pop out of her Maoist suit.

It’s no great deed and I’m far from morally superior but 50 years and literally billions of votes in that time has proven that voting don’t fix shit. It’s an illusion. My only realistic option is to minimize my exposure to it all in every way I can and derive as much entertainment from it as I can stand.

Stuck, I’m done. Whether we get T or H, I don’t believe it will increase our security at street level. Cops will continue to shoot to kill. Drug traffickers will continue to deliver drugs to poor neighborhoods.

Of course, we can rest easy that the rich will prosper and continue to sleep safely at night. Yippee, America is great again.

Why do I have this negative outlook? Because no matter who is president, the world is awash in goods and money flows like a mudslide but consumers themselves are tapped out of money and flushed out of their jobs.

The post-WW2 recovery happened because of pent up demand, there is no demand now except for food and medical care.

I recall seeing old white folks walking out the old neighborhood grocery store with a cart full of tuna cat food back in the 70’s when it was reported that unemployment in El Paso was 20%. Nixon expanded the welfare program while colluding with China to transfer manufacturing to them.

Clinton put work conditions on the welfare program but didn’t curtail it. The Clintons sold off nuclear and technological secrets to China. Walmart became a pass-through for Chinese goods and the other big boxes followed suit.

Meanwhile, Americans learned to depend on the kindness of strangers. That’s how folks survived all these years while the rich got richer and the freeloaders got greedier for more freebies.

So here we are again, after having agreed that Washington has wrecked America, fighting over who should be our next task-master. What difference, at this time, does it make?

I believe I could go into the ancient pile of crappy comments here at TBP and find where I stated, LONG AGO, that I like Trump because he isn’t one of THEM.

That was when you were anti-Trump before you were for Trump.

Very well put. +100.

Far be it from me to ask the hard questions but….why are you going to yet another name? You go through names faster than Hitlery can jerk her head back and forth having a fit. Are you having an identity crisis?

Yeah bea, but think of it this way. Lots of great guitar players, very, very few that have a recognizable style of their own. EC, to his credit, can call himself just about anything, yet read one post, you know it’s him. Not an EZ trick.

Shit… read one post? I’m almost able to recognize him from his new name appearing at a certain point in a comment thread.

“Oh, there’s a reply to XXXXX on the Bloody Fucking Monday article posted by Admin yesterday… That has to be EC!”

A rose by any other name…

It’s different this time. I will never vote for the lesser of 2 evils, but I’m not sure this guy is evil? If being a jackass makes one evil, we’re all in trouble.

There is one immutable truth. Voting requires faith in man and his system. I have no faith in man whatsoever therefore I do not vote. Voting has not changed our path to destruction, ever.
As long as man controls this globe, evil will continue to prosper as long as we rely on voting.
There is only one course of action that can wrest power from those who control the system but I’m afraid that is too little too late. I’d rather try that than vote.

Look at the millions who lined up to vote against the evil HNIC not once but TWICE, what good did that do?

Look at the Bushateers who worshiped the Bush’s and just knew that they were the good guys who were the valiant superheros of the Repugnant Party. That went really well as the 9/11 show was cooked up to start a NeoCon-o-rama of war and rip offs. The Bush crime family had everybody snowed, now people see them for who/what they are. Why keep playing in the rigged BS smoke and mirrors brought to you by the Entertainment Industrial Complex?

Given where we are at in the economic cycle, I believe America will survive the next 4 years intact. I do believe that the next president will hasten an eventual breakup of the country into 3-5 pieces:

1) California/West Coasters
2) Texas and Associates
3) East Coasters
4) ‘Middle America’
5) Other

My, oh my, how things have changed.

Gut tells me whomever “wins,” will lose.

My guess is the odds of our financial system making it until 2020 is pretty slim. Whomever is in office is going to get the blame.

Kinda makes me wonder if Trump is just providing cover for the Status Quo? That way, he takes the hits and Hitlery can waltz in as our Global Governing savior.

The MSM ran nothing but 24/7 anti-war, government is bad, propaganda when the Repukes were in power, then once O was there, it completely stopped and the anti-war liberals became pro-war liberals toot sweet.

If Trump wins, tell me how it will be different? All the corruption, bad deals, crap will be repackaged and sold to the clueless as “his” fault.

I’m not voting for president. I’m going to vote on my liquor selection on election night. Single malt or blend whiskey. My vote is going to count on election night and I’ll be happy after my beverage choice. That is my Decision 2016!

The Donald has already shown his true colors with the AIPAC speech.

Hillary has shown us all colors of the rainbow.. pride, BLM, anti-Christian, anti-Constitution, anti-American, etc.

No anti-fed, no restraint on government, the possibility of a federalized police force, more war, more debt, bigger military, more surveillance, etc.

Nothing will change.

Ron Paul isn’t voting for either of them. Why should you?
