I grew up in the 70s with jungle gyms not quite that level of risky, but, today, I haven’t seen one more than 5 feet off the ground in a quarter century.

I remember the summer my home town got rid of the diving board at the local swimming pool. Some kid crack his head and later some negro jumped off the diving board and forgot he couldn’t swim.Next summer no board. A couple years later they closed the pool because it was deemed unsafe. Damn shame.
