Don’t know about you, but these neocons who are pushing for WWIII are either crazy…….or their strategy is to set off the nukes, hide in a bunker for 20 years, then emerge as overlords off whatever is left.

Well said. Spot on…surprised that it took 3 minutes to figure him out. Friedman has been on my radar for sometime. Your comments leaves nothing else for me to say.
It’s one thing to be so smart you can guess what going to happen. It’s another to be part of the establishment which makes those events happen.
He mentioned that it was the Ottoman Empire and it’s brutal rule of the ME which kept that region stable for 500 years. But the Ottoman Empire rotted from within for centuries and collapsed during and after WWI. However, this is not the cause for all the bloodshed in the ME today.
The Neocons destabilized the entire ME. They took out every strong (and brutal) leader who was holding his country together. They tried to install the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, but failed. They threw Iraq, Libya, Yemen and Syria into chaos and opened the door to let Turkey have a strong position in the ME. Look at the games they play with Iran. First it’s the enemy, then it’s kinda-sorta okay to deal with.
Private individuals like Soros are allowed to fund revolutions, illegal immigration and racial chaos everywhere, even in the FUSA. He is apparently untouchable by International Law or American domestic law (what’s left of it). He is obviously a front man for the Neocons/ TPTB.
The only conclusion I can come up with is that George Freidman is a mouthpiece for the Neocons (and whomever TPTB are) and that pretty much most of what he says is bullshit.
