I am not so sure of that Bea, being a Frankophile I have tried to understand people’s reasoning when they say that, but haven’t seen any good proof apart from his father’s job.
I am sure that discrediting Zappa with linking him to the EIC/MIC does a lot more for the nefarious PTB than he ever did by making fun of hippies.
His disdain for the political class and brief run for the presidency was a harbinger of the current Trump bid. Unfortunately people only ever associated Frank with Titties and Beer, not humiliating Tipper Gore.
I consider his death suspicious considering his intelligence and ability to influence public opinion, just like John Lennon or Bob Marley (who died of toe cancer?)
Anyhow, if anybody has any good evidence supporting Bea’s claim, I want to read it. Otherwise, I will continue to cherish his admonitory advice regarding the government, school and general stupidity of the masses.
