Georgia cops bust 10-year-old’s lemonade stand

When three girls in Midway, Georgia set up their lemonade stand, they intended to raise enough money to go to the water park. But the ever-vigilant local police quickly identified the girls’ effort as criminal enterprise and shut them down.
“It’s kind of crazy that we couldn’t sell lemonade,” 14-year-old Casity Dixon told WJCL. “It was fun, but we had to listen to the cops and shut it down.”
The police chief and another officer discovered the stand only one day after it had opened.
“They told us to shut it down,” 10-year-old Skylar Roberts said.
“We had told them, we understand you guys are young, but still, you’re breaking the law, and we can’t let you do it anymore,” Midway Police Chief Kelly Morningstar explained. “The law is the law, and we have to be consistent with how we enforce the laws.”
A city permit that would have allowed the lemonade stand to stay open costs $50 a day. In contrast, a child’s water park ticket goes for about $27.

From the war on drugs to the war on lemonade stands. You must be proud.

I hear selling street-corner lemonade leads directly to street-corner heroin traficking. How much did it cost the citizens of Midway, Georgia to send that bull dyke and her deputies down there in their cruisers with A/C on high, still running while they frisked the “perps”? Job well done douchbags!

Little criminals should have been thrown in prison. Imagine the nerve of a 14yr old girl setting up a lemonade stand without the permission of “Chief” Morningstar. I rest easier knowing that we have public servants like the “chief” protecting us.

The law is the law. How stupid. We are really going backward as a society. The cops busting little girls for selling lemonaid and then saying they are enforcing the law? What kind of law are they enforcing; did they ask themselves that question? What they are doing is enforcing arbitrary law; this is not part of “rule of law.” It is arbitrary law. Arbitrary law is the law of mammon. It is a lower form of law made by an animal mentality; yes, an animal mentality. And when the police go around enforcing this type of law realize that the people we have going around enforcing these laws are of an animal mentality. No wonder we have so much police brutality.
Did you hear the person on the video saying we did not know how the lemonaide was made? Where is the trust in your fellow human being? What kind of mentality is this?
Are we really living in an advanced civilization because of education? It seems that education has dumbed us down into machanations that follow instructions with no conscious of what we are turning into. No wonder our country is going down the tubes. The people we put into leadership positions make arbitrary laws for their own benefit and use the dog mentality trained police to enforce their arbitrary laws. What moral reasons is there for charging $50 a day for selling lemonaide that may bring in $25? How much time and trouble does it take to go down to city hall to get such a business license? Why does city hall care about children selling lemonaide in the first place? Are we talking about an ego trip here? Don’t the police have more serious things to do? No they don’t. It all boils down to a mammon (animal) mentality. If you watch animals you see how they like to claim (mark) their territory. What these people are doing is marking their territories; no different than the mentality of animals. These people have to be challenged. If we just sit back and accept this then we become subject to their arbitrary rule which puts us under the rule of mammon.
