    I used to play CCR on my ’65 Mustang 8-track until the tape wore out.

    You do realize John Fogerty originally did this song as a true blues version? The popular version is folky-rocky. I have a quasi-authentic cover by Gary Sloan. Much cooler (and creepier), IMO. Same lyrics, slower, blues style.
