    The psychology of the NYPD cops dealing with protesters like Cpt. Lewis, and the various recently-retired military guys, must be interesting. It will drive some of them to be even more violent, but will drive others to be self-destructive. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an uptick in police suicides in the next 6-12 months. The best ones will just leave – whether they want to be cops in better departments or do something entirely different, they should get out of there.
