The enemy is evident to anyone capable of using their brain. Not one of these criminal bankers has been arrested. The laws are just for the little people like you and me. They don’t apply to the ruling elite. Is anybody in there? Knock if you can hear me. Is anybody home?

    How come?

Cause the bums will always lose.

Sucks to work so hard just to make it to bum status.

F# the world today, just the screw the world and its “elected” leaders. I’ve had enough.

If we continue to allow these criminals to get away with an $11 trillion heist – we deserve the country we get.

What is happening is beyond the pale – the corporatism, crony capitalism, corruption has infected not just our economy – but our spirit.

And I for, one, refuse to let these bastards get away with it.

We all make choices in life – most are small, and insignificant.

Today, in this time, we all face a choice – will we allow our country – it’s laws, its wealth, its freedom its spirit to be plundered unabated, or will we stand up and fight?

I’m not talking about violence. I’m talking about using the law – and demanding that it be enforced.

Let’s start with all the Atttorneys General in the US. They ALL took an oath to protect and defend the US Constitution and uphold the rule of law. Every single AG who is participating in the settlement talks with TBTF banks – is violating their oath of office.

If everyday Americans in each state honed in on their AG and wrote letters, phoned in, flooded the media, protested in front of the AG offices and demanded that the AG walk away from the settlement and investigate the fraud ASAP – we’d see positive results.

We don’t need 100% of Americans. We just need a vocal, well-organized 20%. That’s it.

If the AG refuses to uphold the law, then the people of that state, demand that the Governor remove him/her from office and charge the AG with Misprision of Felony.

We can do this. It’s not terribly hard. Why not try this in your home state?

The evidence of fraud is in every county registry in the USA.

These people work for us – all it takes is the will of the people to turn the tide.

I have no idea why these jokers are not in jail.

It’s a profound mystery on the scale of the immaculate birth and who killed Jimmy Hoffa and how Bill Clinton escaped removal of office, LOL.

Today, at a quick lunch in the doctor’s lounge, among about 10 pretty smart (well, okay, highly educated) people, I mentioned the MF Global mess and the names of these 3 guys. Not ONE of them, not one, had a clue what I was talking about.

I just put the computers on usdebtclock.org and went back to clinic.

@Mary Malone: Keep up the fight. I totally agree with you.

They will go on trial some day. And Obama, Holder, Paulson, Corzine, Reid, Pelosi, 90% of the house and senate, 100% of the sub-prime mortgage criminals, Bernake, Geitner, and everyone else who has stolen trillions from the taxpayers. Unfortunately, we have to wait for the country to collapse and die before they are brought to justice.

Must it come to that? Can’t we at least try to hold them accountable today?

AWD’s right. They’ll get away with it just like they always do. Protest all you want. It won’t make enough of a difference even if it makes you feel better. Even the OWS gig hasn’t put any sort of dent in their operations to date. I’m not aware of a single indictment between September 17th and today related in any meaningful way to this abysmal dereliction of duty on the part of these assbags in the Fed Gov. Nothing. BoA cancelled some bullshit fees. BFD. They still shifted trillions of liability onto the FDIC-insured deposit accounts during the same time period!

Until there are bodies, LOTS of bodies, hanging from lampposts and trees throughout this republic, there will be no justice. NONE. Fuck it.

@Mary Malone: We have a new (last election) AG here in Florida. Got elected (an I voted for her) on a law and order and “we will get those bastards” platform.

I’ve written the bitch 9 letter (snail mail) on various subjects ranging from mortgage fraud to police brutality and have never so much as received an acknowledgement. Once in office, they just don’t care. She _immediately_ got with the program and has made absolutely no high level cases to date. She hasn’t even called a grand jury and didn’t join all those other States Attorney Generals in that big case going toward the Supremes.

She will not get my vote the next time but what does that mean? Another crooked lawyer gets the job and same old shit keeps rolling right along.

  10. Mary Malone says:

@MA: I agree. Pam Bondi has been a huge disappointment. Florida is ground zero for illegal foreclosures and she has done bupkas to help people by enforcing the law.

She also fired 2 top notch attorneys on her staff who were aggressively investigating banks and other financial firms for fraud.

I sent her an email and called her office to request that she walk away from global banking settlement talks – never got a reply either.

I think Floridians need to start showing up at events where she’s speaking – and begin an onslaught of public protests that demand she leave the settlement talks and begin enforcing the law.

If she fails to respond, start a petition – get the Governor to call for her resignation and charge her with misprision of felony, for failing to report a felony to the court.

Use social media, online newspaper posts, letters to the editor. Call the local TV station and say Flordians demand Bondi’s resignation. Humiliate her. Dig up dirt on her contributors. Just keep the public attacks coming.

She’s an elected official – not appointed to the post. She needs your votes – so organize and force her to enforce the law.

Being educated beyond one’s intelligence is not that rare. I hear high education touted often by some of TBP as the definative attribute.

Sometimes I have my doubts. Genuine curiosity and thoughtfulness works as well.
