THOSE IN POWER FEAR RON PAUL AND HIS MESSAGE OF LIBERTY, FREEDOM, AND RESPONSIBILITY. THE QUOTES BELOW ARE THE TRUE REFLECTION OF THE MAN AND HIS IDEAS. IDEAS CAN CHANGE THE WORLD. DO YOUR PART TO FIGHT THE MISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN BEING WAGED BY THE CORPORATE MEDIA AND THEIR POLITICAL HACKS BY SENDING THIS LIST OF QUOTES TO EVERYONE IN YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS BOOK.
“Ideas are very important to the shaping of society. In fact, they are more powerful than bombings or armies or guns. And this is because ideas are capable of spreading without limit. They are behind all the choices we make. They can transform the world in a way that governments and armies cannot. Fighting for liberty with ideas makes more sense to me than fighting with guns or politics or political power. With ideas, we can make real change that lasts.”
― Ron Paul, Liberty Defined: The 50 Urgent Issues That Affect Our Freedom
“Under the United States Constitution, the federal government has no authority to hold states “accountable” for their education performance…In the free society envisioned by the founders, schools are held accountable to parents, not federal bureaucrats.”
― Ron Paul
“I’m convinced that you never have to give up liberties to be safe. I think you’re less safe when you give up your liberties.”
― Ron Paul
“Freedom is not defined by safety. Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference. Government cannot create a world without risks, nor would we really wish to live in such a fictional place. Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total state control over its citizens’ lives. Liberty has meaning only if we still believe in it when terrible things happen and a false government security blanket beckons.”
― Ron Paul
“Truth is treason in the empire of lies.”
― Ron Paul, The Revolution: A Manifesto
“Mr. Speaker, I once again find myself compelled to vote against the annual budget resolution for a very simple reason: it makes government bigger.”
― Ron Paul
“The most basic principle to being a free American is the notion that we as individuals are responsible for our own lives and decisions. We do not have the right to rob our neighbors to make up for our mistakes, neither does our neighbor have any right to tell us how to live, so long as we aren’t infringing on their rights. Freedom to make bad decisions is inherent in the freedom to make good ones. If we are only free to make good decisions, we are not really free.”
― Ron Paul
“Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.”
― Ron Paul
“Failure of government programs prompts more determined effort, while the loss of liberty is ignored or rationalized away…whether is it is the war on poverty, drugs, terrorism…or the current Hitler of the day, an appeal to patriotism is used to convince the people that a little sacrifice of liberty, here or there, is a small price to pay…The results, though, are frightening and will soon become even more so.”
― Ron Paul
“When the federal government spends more each year than it collects in tax revenues, it has three choices: It can raise taxes, print money, or borrow money. While these actions may benefit politicians, all three options are bad for average Americans.”
― Ron Paul
“A system of capitalism presumes sound money, not fiat money manipulated by a central bank. Capitalism cherishes voluntary contracts and interest rates that are determined by savings, not credit creation by a central bank.”
― Ron Paul
“Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.”
― Ron Paul
“The original American patriots were those individuals brave enough to resist with force the oppressive power of King George…Patriotism is more closely linked to dissent than it is to conformity and a blind desire for safety and security.”
― Ron Paul
“As many frustrated Americans who have joined the Tea Party realize, we cannot stand against big government at home while supporting it abroad. We cannot talk about fiscal responsibility while spending trillions on occupying and bullying the rest of the world. We cannot talk about the budget deficit and spiraling domestic spending without looking at the costs of maintaining an American empire of more than 700 military bases in more than 120 foreign countries. We cannot pat ourselves on the back for cutting a few thousand dollars from a nature preserve or an inner-city swimming pool at home while turning a blind eye to a Pentagon budget that nearly equals those of the rest of the world combined.”
― Ron Paul
“It is no coincidence that the century of total war coincided with the century of central banking.”
― Ron Paul, End the Fed
“A citizen walking through the airport today is bombarded with 1984-style propaganda messages that are designed to make us fear some amorphous threat and also be suspicious of others. The government designs these messages to make us feel dependent and heavily lorded over in every aspect of our lives. These messages are becoming ever more pervasive, hitting us even in grocery stores when we are shopping.”
― Ron Paul, Liberty Defined: The 50 Urgent Issues That Affect Our Freedom

We can use the internet to defeat the MSM and the vested interests.
We don’t need millions of dollars. Ideas are more powerful than money.

Unjustified fear of the unknown, different world that would unfold if Ron Paul became president will keep too many and nearly all the dependent from voting for Ron Paul. We need more quotes from “Pillars of Prosperity” to reassure them that traditional American prosperity will return with traditional American values and Government.

There are more Ron Paul fans than the MSM realizes. They will be overwhelmed when he begins to win primaries.
Fuck the MSM. Fuck the GOP establishment. Fuck the ruling oligarchy in this country. Their time grows short.

Admin – I hope you are right. As I mentioned elsewhere they have started attacking RP for the simplicity of his message. My experience is that it means he is right – whenever folks say you do not understand, it isn’t as simple as that, you can bet your bottom dollar that you do undrstand and it is as simple as that. The last refuge of those losing an argument is to abandon the argument and attack the opposition as simple-minded. It means RP is hitting them hard. I am starting to think he may have a cvhance.

If all the Rep Party wanted was “anyone but Obama”, a POTUS w/ “R” after his name, they would embrace Paul, give him a little support (instead of undermining him), and help him get the nomination. IMO, w/ Rep Party support and his Libertarian views on freedom and foreign policy, he would clean up in the general election.
Unfortunately, the Reps don’t just want a guy with an “R” after his name, they want someone who supports their (recent) foreign policy and domestic spending policy/crony capitalism. And Obama does that much better than RP, so the Rep honchos would rather see O re-elected than Paul. At least then they would have someone to blame, and still get most of their freebies. If Paul gets the Rep nomination, it will be grudgingly by the Party, and he won’t get much support. That will make the general election tough to call-I could see some Reps actually voting for Obama, and many more staying home. On the other hand, Libertarian-minded Dems will support Paul. Paul will clean up with Independents regardless. Could be very interesting, if it gets that far. Support from Jon Stewart, Jay Leno & Joe Rogan reaches audiences beyond CNN & MSNBC, and Fox has Da Judge, and at Cavuto at least giving him a fair shot. Things may be turning, in spite of the MSM’s best efforts. I am getting hopeful, and that is saying something.

I was hopeful about RP being heard from the very beginning for one simple reason: he is one of the few people on this planet who make sense when they open their mouths.
There was a time in the US, when what RP says used to be bloody common sense and no big deal.
That he and his message are now a big deal in the US just goes to show on what kind of a path the US is.
I just hope that there will be a couple more charismatic people, who pick up on his stance. It would be a horror, if one bullet could stop this train.
END THE FED!

Whats really bad is how few americans actually think about people running and theyren stance on the issues.
When Obamas Iran war starts people well see what a bad idea it was.And Ron Paul was the only one saying so.The rest of the republicans seem like war mongers on this also.

Thunderbird says:
Ron Paul for President 2012. The only honest choice we have. The Republican and Democratic Parties no longer reflect the values of the American people… nor of the constitution of this country.
The main concern of the majority of people is sound money, the economy, and job creation. This is not being seriously considered by either of the parties.
Those currently holding the reigns of government (a gang of criminals in the true sense) do not want to let go and let honest men clean up their mess of mismanagement and fraud so they are doing everything they can to deny the legitimate process of letting the people have the choices we desire to put things right.
I already sense that the Republican convention will be a disappointment to honest people who want to have a choice. I hope I am wrong. As for the future of the Republican Party it is a dead elephant. After 2012 the Republican Party will be referred to in past tense. It is a dead party. They will get what they want at the expense of their own party. And they won’t win the election. Ron Paul whom they detest is their only hope to win the presidency. Mitt Romney will lose. This is my assessment based on what I have observed; and witnessed the rotten politics going on in the Republican Party.
