Half of all wage earners made less than $26,364 in 2010, and the typical American wage is at its lowest level since 1999, after adjusting for inflation.

These low-skilled breeders need another $10,000 drop in income to be competitive in the modern world.
I have no sympathy for those who don’t pay their fair share in Federal Income tax. Tax these wastes of flesh and put their skin in the game.

No problem, Oblamer has just called on Congress to lower everybody’s monthly mortgage payment by $200-$300 dollars so they can spend it on other shit like going to dinner. We’ve got to put more waiters and waitresses to work.

You are obviously one who believes in big government. I happen to disagree with you. Before WW2 income tax was voluntary. Now they are forced on wages; which I have always disagreed.
What do you regard as fair share? 90% like the socialists and marxist like? Which one are you?

I know what you mean. How do people fucking exist on 25k. I work in collections and it amazes me that people get by with no checking account. They use money orders or go to Walmart and and get a Green Dot card which they can load like a debit card.
I collect on past due University of Phoenix accounts and I would love to write an article on the absolute scam U of P is. Google U of P and see some of the lawsuits they’re defending. Basically they’re committing student loan fraud. I also collect USAA and they are a first rate outfit. I’m proud to work for them. You cannot believe the arrogance of B of A to collect for. I’m digressing but I had a really bad day on the collection floor. Some of these fucking people……

IU never had a thumb ring. But I did find an old ruby ring I’d once worn that felt loose on my ring finger, so I put it on the index finger, good enough. Working at AT&T I took it off and put in my pocket for techy work but wore it otherwise.
One of the Western Electric installers we had for a time wondered about why I wore it like that. So I can hit people, I replied. Har har har, he responded, sneered and sauntered off.
A few hours later, he walked passed, sneered again. I reached across to grab his collar, let his momentum assist guding him around and feinted a chop at his neck. Eyes like saucers, he said, Damn martial arts guy, aint gonna laugh at you no mo. Fun.

@Maddie’s Mom:
There will be a whole lot more living on a whole lot less by and by.
I’m negotiating with a rancher who has a small spread behind where I live to lease us about 40 acres or so down the property line of our close knit little community for a nice long, narrow community garden. We’ll see how that turns out..
We’d have to do a pile of soil building before much will grow in this sandpile called Florida dirt but it can be done.
My sweetie and I grow an unbelievable amount of veggies in our own wee 150 ft. sq. garden (fenced to frustrate rabbits). Tomatoes, beans, squash of any sort, bell peppers of any color, just not enough room for corn and barely enough for a few hills of sweet ‘taters.. We can get two to three good crops a year here and compost everything back into the garden we don’t eat.
I don’t know how much we save at the store doing this and really don’t care. It would be a measurable amount of money if we bothered to total it up, but I can sure tell you things taste a lot better fresh gathered straight to the kitchen, thence to the table! Besides, while it’s not fun it is indeed satisfying and good for the old bones and muscles.
I sleep better after working the garden too, for some reason..
There are ways to stretch an income of $25K or less if you add work and stir in a different direction.
