October was by far the biggest visitor count in TBP history. The 463,000 visitors blew away the previous record of 407,000 visitors. It seems obesity sells. My Wildwood obesity article drove the visitor counts. The other cool statistic is that the average visit on TBP is almost 6 minutes. This is unheard of in the internet world. Most sites get a 30 second visit. This is a tribute to the interesting and amusing comments that are made on a daily basis. Give yourself a round of applause. The Daily Crux is by far my biggest producer of visitors. To give you a comparsion, the first full month of this version of TBP in December 2010, we had 124,000 visitors. Last October we had 259,000 visitors. I think the increase in visitors is a sign of the Fourth Turning. By the end of this Crisis we should have about 10 million visitors per month.
