Turd Beats Douche

Or did Douche Beat Turd? I don’t even know which one is the Douche and which is the Turd…

I don’t think things will go well for the next 4 years. And I don’t think they would have gone well if Romney had won; arguing that it would have been marginally better/worse one way or the other is purely conjecture. I think a grandiose result would have been Ron Paul being elected but even I think that would have only yielded a marginal improvement. We were going to end up with an asshole in a $10k suit and $500 haircut no matter what.

It appears the result was fairly close. I know there are quite a few swing-type voters that support Ron Paul but were disgusted with the treatment of him by the GOP so they cast their vote for Gary Johnson or simply stayed home instead of voting for Romney. What if the GOP hadn’t shunned Ron Paul and his supporters and hadn’t kept him from speaking at the convention? The Grand Old Party has no one to blame but themselves for this result.

The Good

  • Bolton won’t become Sec of War
  • Gold/silver and guns/ammunition will likely continue to be good investments
  • It is less likely capitalism and free markets cab be credibly blamed for the inevitable collapse.
  • Firearm/Ammunitions regs would have been pushed and would likely have been less draconian than what a 2nd Obama Admin would do, but with a so-called conservative the likelihood of it getting snuck in would have increased IMO.
  • Obama is a warmongerer but might be less of one than Romney so worldwide conflict is less likely (probably).

The Bad

  • Obama and his herd of guv-thugs will be emboldened do more
  • More “change”; which means an unchanged continuation of what has been going on for 4 years, (which is bad enough)
  • Small businesses will assuredly continue to be crushed
  • The tax doomsday coming Jan 1, 2013 looks to be more likely to come about
  • Firearms/Ammunition regs will be pushed hard and possibly passed via executive order or by the appointing of another stooge to the Supreme Court.
  • Small business owners will start to shutdown/slowdown their operations because it is no longer worth it.
  • ObamaCare is here to stay (but the majority likely would have stayed even with Romney)
  • Have to realistically worry about the overturning of the 22nd Amendment or suspended elections in 4 years due to (insert BS reason involving terrorism, natural catastrophe).
  • I will have to hear Obama talk for another 4 years
  • The economic collapse’s speed has shifted gears. Everyone has less time to properly prepare.
  • Another term for Heli-Benny is likely.
  • Fiscal/Monetary policy chaos and volatility.

Visitors/Commenters, this list is far from complete, feel free to add good, bad and moot points as you see fit in the comment section.

I think the core issues like continual war abroad and at home, increased use of drones, the destruction of civil liberties, high inflation and unemployment and a decrease in living standards were all but assured. Click here for what I thought wouldn’t change regardless of which tyrant “won” the election.

The typical storyline has been that this election was the most important one, blah-blah-blah, blahitty blah. Every upcoming election has/is/will be billed as the most important ever. It has to be hyped as such to get the hoi polloi excited and involved in validating the fleecing process.

We weren’t presented with the candidates we needed, we were presented with the dictators we deserved, therefore it was inevitable, either way we were going to get a dictator.

If Ron Paul, or someone like him, were to ever be elected I’m sure he would meet with some unfortunate accident or unexpected heart attack.

I think folks are shocked, but we must all remember the truth put forth by the Legendary and Great Smokey whose wisdom was dwarfed only by the weight of his tonsil-tapper:

The winner of this election will preside over a domestic and global collapse of an unimaginable nature and it doesn’t matter one bit if it’s the Turd or the Douche.

I see you and your friends voted for a $6 billion tax increase on yourselves to keep funding those government union pensions. Well done.

We will never see a Ron Paul or someone like him elected, because the dumbshitting of america is complete. The old regime is dying off and being replaced by brainwashed barely literate assholes who you would have to tell them the sky is blue because they have never looked up from their long enough to notice. Their life revolves around free shit, shit they did not earn or shit they robbed from their parents that ironically they consider to be closed minded bigots. They know and care more about emoticons then the constitution, and that’s all I have to say about that.

That is what I believe will happen as well. The FSA is now emboldened, they will demand even more as their numbers swell faster than their waistlines.

The wealthy will leave or hide their wealth, business will either fail or move because of the coming higher taxation.

The wealthy and business will always be able to outsmart the government bureaucrats. Until the shit really hits the fan, then the gloves come off and we get that boot stomping on our face, forever.

    colma,
cali was my guess but wasn’t sure and didn’t feel like looking it up, the only person i actually know that lives there lives off disability so she don’t have to worry about “taxes”; to her, those are things other people who are “rich” have to pay.

Good luck with your 10 kids and playing doms, if you need to go that extra step it can’t hurt to have this surgery done.

I have read/seen that they can also turn you into a dolphin but being a dolphin won’t help you get a SNAP card and public housing, unless of course the EPA broadens their powers even more.

The outcome of this election did not matter one stinking bit. Not only because Obamney is all the same – no, I actually believe that even *if* Ron Paul had been elected (and trust me I would have been elated about it) that it is just too fucking late to do anything about the sinking of the ship at this point.

America is like a Giant Oceanliner heading for an iceberg ala The Titanic. We are a huge monstrosity, with such a wide turn radius that even when the captain of the ship calls to change course, that turn is so damn slow and takes a long distance. The last chance we had to avoid the iceberg of destruction completely was in ’64 – Goldwater could have made the call to turn our big ol’ ship in time. After that point, a hit was inevitable. Sure, Regan tried to steer us into having a less-head-on collision for a while, then GWB turned the wheel back to head-on collision course and then Obama put the engines into turbo overdrive; but our giant, painfully slow turn radius means we were going to hit regardless after missing the 1964 Goldwater opportunity.

*que that annoying Celine Dion song* cause we are going down.
