I call today “Survivors Day”, and Memorial Day “Victims Day”.

I wish we could get to the point of, as they said in the ’60s, “What if they gave a war and nobody came?”

I hate the way our country has USED and abused our brave men and women. That said I have great respect and admiration for those who’ve served and do everything in my power to help the ones I know, and donate for the ones I don’t.

KaD – I’d be happy to provide you with my PayPal address. I am accepting donations to assist with my current expenses. Every little bit makes a difference, though I prefer donations in blocks of $1,000. For a $10,000 recurring monthly donation, I’ll even send weekly updates on the progress of myself and other economically disadvantaged veterans. Just let me know what amount you want to start with and whether it would be more convenient on the first of the month or the fifteenth. Thanks in advance for all your support!

I don’t do paypal but if you have a PO box I’d bite. I don’t have much left to give anymore, I lost my job, bank accounts, credit card, health and dental insurance, my marriage, my unemployment and the roof over my head; but you can bet I’d send something. The admin knows my email address, forward an address to him and he can send it to me.

  5. Dorkus Maximus says:

I feel badly for those currently serving because this random accumulation of people that reside in between Atlantic and Pacific aren’t worth dying for. Not worth skipping a meal for, for that matter.

I feel badly for those who have served, for their efforts were in vain.

I wrote a while back that the only agenda I am currently interested in is a new flag. We insult Old Glory by flying it over this abomination of a country.

    KaD –

You are very honorable. It’s amazing that someone can lose everything and still have a giving heart. Thanks for the inspiration today.

It’s not that big a deal in my book for someone to ‘put their money where their mouth is’. I can’t take it with me anyways, might as well do some good with it here.

    dorkus,
Kindly leave for your new flag, soon, and don’t let the door slap you on the ass.
Leave Old Glory with us— we’ll take care of her.
