It seems someone at Royal Caribbean made a dreadful mistake. They booked too many Boomers on one side of the boat. Tragedy ensued.

    This happened to my family at Disneyland on “It’s a Small World”. The 4 of us were on one side of the little boat, and 4 typically obese people got loaded onto the otherside, and we (barely) floated lopsided and nearly sinking for the whole ride. We were some of the last visitors to ride in the original boats from 1966, the same month we were there, Disneyland shut down for almost a year to redo the waterways and put in larger boats to accommodate the new supersized American passengers. It’s truly unbelievable how fat people have gotten in this country.

    Say what you want to about boomers, they’ve been sucking up the wealth and resources of this country and the world since 1945, leaving little in their wake. Thank god the nightmare will be over within the next 15 – 20 years. It’s disgusting to see their beady little eyes scheming how they might consume whatever the can lay their hands on. My guess is we run out of available resources before this generation is done. It will be interesting to see their reaction when there is literally nothing left, having contributed little and consumed all.

    Hilarious. You can’t get away from fat, lazy baby boomers no matter where you go. They’re everywhere. Cruises are floating buffets, with free ice cream. What’s a boomer not to love about cruises? Don’t forget to pick up some Cuban cigars.

    According to CDC for adults age 20+:
    Today the average American male is 5’9″ 195lbs, average American female is 5’4″ 165lbs.
    In 1960 the average American male was 5’8.5″ 165lbs, average American female was 5’3.5″ 140lbs.

    Hubby and I are a time capsule of the “old normal” but get told quite often by fatasses how “skinny” we are, and encouraged at family gatherings of our fatass extended families to “eat more” because we are “skinny”. Hubby is 5’9″ 155lbs, I am 5’4″ 125lbs. I would guess we aren’t skinny at all, but exactly what was considered “average” for our age cohort in the 1950s. I don’t think there is anything extraordinary about our sizes, and I happen to much prefer the “old normal” TYVM. It is so sad that America has accepted a new boat-sinking-normal, and has skewed its self perception so much.

    Obesity is the new normal, sorry. 75% of Americans are overweight or obese. So, you are, in fact, abnormal. You might want to look into conforming. Diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, massive inflammation, constant illness, debilitating pain, heart attacks, strokes, cancer, and amputations and dialysis are so much fun, you don’t want to miss it.

    What cracks me up more than anything is the morbidly obese people that are in denial, that wear under-armor clothes, Nikes, and believe they are somehow “in shape” and athletic, by virtue of wearing athletic clothes, despite the fact they’re fat piles of shit.

    The boomers are turning into the whales of the 21st century. That is a good thing because it shows that evolution is working. The whales are leaving the ocean and adapting land life.

    And the boomers also contributed to the following:

    Abundant fiat money and credit cards to buy anything for instant gratification instead of suffering without until one is old.

    All the new types junk food and super big gulps.

    Vacations and cruse ships with plenty of food and bingo.

    I’d submit that cruise ships self select a less active, more food oriented crowd but of some interest to me was this story that diabetes rates trebled in Oklahoma over the last 16 years.

    Imagine if the incidence of pancreatic or colon cancer trebled in a state over 16 years. The CDC and NIH would be going nuts to find out why. Yes, people are getting fatter but we aren’t all getting fatter equally. I just wonder if this explosion on diabetes is not related to the influx of Central American Indian and mestizo bean and tortilla eaters coming to the US and abruptly switching to a diet far too rich for their genetic makeup.

    A navy commander told me about having one marine puke over the side of the ship and soon many(thousasnds) were doing the same.Her got on the com and asked for half of them to go to the other side because they were making the ship list hard to one side.You know those navy guys were laughing hard giving those marines a hard time.
