In other drugereport news;

French men sperm count drops by a third. I guess even French soerm have the ability to retreat. Also, WHO counts these sperm? Does the job pay well? Is this a job where you can jack off, and get away with it?

Also, a story about a woman who suffered suffered from persistent genital arousal disorder, a debilitating condition marked by continuous sexual arousal …….. relief provided only after masturbating for HOURS on end. Holy shit, I didn’t know THAT was a ‘disorder’. Hopefully, it only applies to women, or I’m in deep shit.

Lastly, you might want to watch this vid about a Detroit councilwoman who said regarding Obama — we voted for you now bail us out.

Demonize “rich people”, while California fire men get $150,000 per year, lifeguards get $125,000 per year, city managers get $250,000 per year. They retire at 50. Massive pensions. I’m sure California teachers are making North of $100,000 per year (like here in Illinois).

And only one other problem, 1/2 the people don’t pay any taxes.

Unions, criminals in government, and socialists everywhere are jumping on the “tax the rich” bandwagon. Lazy people love to see the producers suffer. Envy, a cardinal sin, has ushered in socialism and communism throughout history. It never works. The producers quit producing and the welfare and government employee parasites take over everything, except there is nothing left to take over.

California is already over the taker/producer line. There are more people taking (welfare/government employees) than paying taxes. Fail, game over. This shit will never end. Unions are master propagandists, and most people are too stupid to realize the consequences (failure and collapse).

There are many reasons why states (and especially teachers) like labor unions.

They can create an “us versus them” culture within companies and organizations, instead of putting everyone on the same team
They can create a culture of entitlement
They can restrict flexibility and hurt competitiveness
They can drive companies to move jobs out of the country, to places where there are no unions
They can become career employment for their leaders, who pay themselves well (much better than the workers they’re representing)
They can maintain ludicrous compensation and benefit levels for jobs based purely on seniority
They can force companies to treat all union employees equally, regardless of the relative skill and value of particular employees–thus reducing incentives for people to do a great job

Every similar post here ends by pointing to the rich. So how much wealth can we confiscate from the rich and how far would it go. A quick search shows the average 1%er makes about 1.5 million per year. If we take it all and redistribute it to the 99%ers, everyone would get about $15,000.

But since this would certainly be a one time shot, we might as well confiscate everything they’ve got, an average 14 million in assets. So if we confiscate that and give it to the 99%ers it would come to something like $140,000. So taking the wealth from the 1%ers would give the rest of us a pretty flush year or two after having sold those assets to the Chinese, Saudis, etc. But than, there’s still the 10%ers.

Does anyone have any better numbers than these?

AWD, I agree. We keep missing the point that the wealthy could not get away with what they have gotten away with, without the help of the politician. And it’s the politician who is the one yelling “Look over there!” Not the rich guy. And since when do the wealthy write the tax codes?

So don’t eat the rich, say Fuck Off to the politician.

Stateside NPR segment today. The bankruptcy of Detroit is near unavoidable, city and government workers should plan on payless paydays, massive layoffs, suspension of pension plans, etc. I saw that video of the Detroit council woman demanding the bacon, all because “they” voted for Obama. It should be apparent they’ve had too much free bacon already.

    ============================================================

Once upon a time there was a land that was happy and prosperous.

There was a great education system, safe streets, and jobs for everyone. There were a few poor people. And a few rich people. Most were in the middle.

The people of this land paid for their good life by investing in their future together. They called this ‘paying taxes’. Everyone paid what they could afford. The poor people paid a little. The people in the middle paid a middling amount. And the rich people, 1% of everyone, paid more than the others. Just about everyone thought this was best. But over time rich people decided they weren’t rich enough. So they came up with ways to get richer.

The first way was through tax cuts. They didn’t mind that this meant fewer services for everyone. They said, “Why should I care about other non rich people! I can hire teachers, safety, waste disposal people to work for me for less money than taxes cost! And then I can keep the rest of my taxes for MEEE-ah!”

The second way rich people got richer was through tax loopholes. These are laws that allow people to avoid paying taxes, with the idea that’s it’s beneficial for other people too … if this group didn’t pay.

The third way rich people got richer is to pay no tax at all! This is called tax evasion. Of course if all the people did this everything would fall apart. But rich people and the giant companies they own thought no one would notice. This is illegal but many did it anyway.

And so it went. In twenty years rich people doubled their share of the land’s income. Schools , public safety, roads, the parks, libraries, public transportation, all went into decline. The rich people didn’t care. They said everyone gets what they deserve. And they bought their own teachers, police, garbage collectors, and transportation.

They also bought something else; elections. They spent so much money on politics they elected people who liked what they liked. More tax cuts for the rich and big businesses , and fewer schools, road repairs, police , fire fighters, and nurses, for EVERYONE else.

When the 99% became upset the rich people and their politicians said; “There is no other way!!” They repeated this so often many people believed it.

Meanwhile, instead of investing in things most people could use, instead of providing jobs that paid people well like they used to, rich people found they could make more money on Wall Street. Wall Street is a place where money makes money. Here the 1% made money so fast they devoted more and more money to it. They took some of that money and sent it far away where workers had no rights to produce things that workers used to produce here.

When ordinary people wondered why rich people needed so much money , the 1% said; “Don’t worry! This is good for you too because it will trickle down from us to you. [note; here the animation shows rich people pissing on poor people]. Some day you’ll be rich and then the rules we made for us will be your rules too!

Some people weren’t so sure about this so the rich people bought newspapers and radio and TV stations and internet companies and paid them to repeat over and over – “Some. Day. You. Will. Be. Rich. Too. There. Is. No. Alternative.” Soon you could hear people saying; “There is no other way! Someday we’ll be rich!”

Meanwhile the rich people’s money began to pile higher and higher! But after a while it was far too high! One day their money fell down with a big C-R-A-S-H … down right on their houses. Millions of ordinary people! It broke their houses! Then more money towers fell down. They fell on ordinary people. “This is terrible! Everyone was scared. “How did this happen??”

The government said, “We have to fix this.” They were so used to rich people being rich they immediately started printing money and giving it to rich people!

But they didn’t give an to the ordinary people whose houses and jobs were broken by the crash. Those people said, “You give the rich people money to replace their money that got lost in the crash. Why aren’t you giving us any to fix our houses, and our jobs? They got broken in the crash too.” The government had no answer. Now the people got MAD. Since they weren’t sure who to get madder at – the government or rich people – they got mad at both.

The rich people got worried. They thought if the people get mad enough at us they might TAKE SOME OF OUR MONEY! This really upset the rich people., because they loved their money more than anything in the whole world. So they devised a plan. They called it – Look Over There!

Whenever people said ‘how come you rich people are getting richer while the rest of us are losing our houses and jobs and schools, the rich people pointed at Someone Else and said ‘Look Over There!!”

First they pointed at the people whose houses were broken and said, “Look Over There. Poor people caused the crash. They built their houses in the wrong place! They had nothing if the money would have fallen on them!” But most people didn’t believe them.

So the rich people pointed at someone else this time. Teachers. They said, “Look Over There! Teachers have jobs and YOU don’t. No one could ever fire THEM and lots of teachers are baad. Schools are failing .. teachers are the reason … BAD teachers, bad bad teachers!”. Most people didn’t believe this. They remembered the problem was the Crash, not bad teachers.

The rich people realized it might be safer for them if someone that Knows pointed their fingers. So they took some of their money and even though it was a little bit of their money … it was a LOT of money, they had so much. They helped more people get elected. These politicians pointed their fingers at police, firefighters, librarians, and other public employees. They said, “Look Over There!! These people are greedy! They have jobs and you don’t! You don’t have retirement plans and they do! THEY caused the crash.”

Some people thought this might be true. They knew someone or something had caused the money to fall. Maybe it WAS the firefighters . But others remembered it was the firefighters helped them when their houses were on fire. They also remembered it was the 1% who built the money towers that crashed on their houses and jobs. Some even remembered those towers of money that replaced the factories and jobs the people used to have. And those jobs used to have retirement plans too. And the ordinary people remembered teachers and firefighters lived in their neighborhoods, they shopped in the same stores. It didn’t seem to be a PROBLEM AT ALL!!

The people looked around and saw too many students in their classrooms. They saw the roads filling with holes. They saw when they needed help it took longer to arrive. People began to say ‘maybe rich people have too much money now. And maybe our problems have to do something with the 1% not paying their fair share of taxes. And maybe also rich people should pay the same rate of taxes they USED too, when our land was prosperous, and more people were better off!’

The rich people heard these things and grew worried. They told their politicians to pass laws to prevent people from organizing, prevent people from voting, prevent people from having Retirement Plans.

But now the people understood the problem. It was rich people who crashed their money on their houses and jobs. It was the 1% who got politicians to cut their taxes until there wasn’t enough for schools, safe streets, libraries, health care and parks. And it was rich people blaming everyone but themselves for what had happened.

This is where we are now, and we have a question; “Is there no alternative? But can the people of this land do something ..to live happily ever after.

Time to exit Dodge. These shit for brains do not realize that it is a global economy, and that the US ALREADY has nearly the highest tax rates in the world. The rich will take their money and run if the rates keep going up. Nations compete in the area of taxes, make no mistake. Capital flows. And flow it will.

Undefire, those numbes are roughly correct, I suppose. But they do not allow for taxes (capital gains, etc), and the factis that assets are not the same as cash. The assets would not be realizable in bulk, and would be worth a fraction of that amount if a concerted effort was made to seize the assets. Companies would go broke en masse, property prices would plummet even further, the tax base would totally implode (it is those 1% that pay the bulk of the taxes, remember? Take their assets and guess what – they stop paying taxes). The whole country would be broke, er, broker, than it is overnight.

The answer is reduced spending. Americans also need to come to the realization that it is impossible for a nation with 5% of the world’s population to have 20+% of the world’s GDP in the long run. Those willing to work harder, longer, and for less will erode that 20% really fast, and it is happening. Don’t like it? Tough shit. Americans are not special just by birthright. Special requires hard work, lots of education, a common national culture and goals, a non-corrupt government, etc. america no longer has these things. Just the opposite.

The US is fucked. It will not remain the world’s economic powerhouse. It has lost its competetive advantages. Relative to much of the world, wages are high, taxes are high, imports exceed exports, education is poor, there is a large Free Shit Army, work-ethic is down – just how will this allow for success?

The standard of living relative to the rest of the world will fall. Look to some of the nations of Europe – France, Spain, Italy, Britain – to see the future.

I’ve been saying that for years now. We’re fucked, taxes are gong up for all, our standard of living will continue to fall, etc etc etc.

I’m having an extremely hard time remaining motivated to stay in business. I can leave, my issue is family, and grandkids. My son is probably more convinced then I am that this nation is done for. His plan is to buy a sailboat in the next two years and be ready to sail off to the Caribbean. They spent nine months sailing there four years ago.
My daughter and family, they will require the crisis first.

It’s amazing, the average starting salary of a teacher working 9-10 months a year in PA (where I live) makes more than the new project engineer my company just hired who will work on heat exchanger installation projects that likely total $3 million a month.
