This is the coolest cartoon video I’ve seen in a while that outlines all the stupid way there are to die. Right down TBP’s alley of things to avoid. Enjoy..

    Seriously, I don’t think I have laughed this hard in a long long time. I thought it was for shits & giggles but color me surprised when I found out it was a Public Service Announcement for Kunstlers Miraculous Civilization Save-All – Yup, you guess it – TRAINS.

    Laughed all the harder and then had to go do some laundry.

    Go view it, preferably after some alkeehol.

    Funny, and yes, I have properly prepared myself (alkeehol, per the good Doc’s orders). I am feeling lucky to have survived several of those dumb ways to die. Among other things, I had a pet rattlesnake.

    It’s videos like this that make me think that The Sociology of Death and Dying courses at college got really undersold by trying to retain a sense of dignity and professionalism. Death, and the rituals, traditions, and general culture surrounding it is one of the most interesting things about the human experience.

    Sometimes you have help, even when you’ve done the right thing. I had occasion to work inside a TV transmitter in Riyadh and had switched power off with safety tags on switch. Inside, I thought I felt a mild shock, shrug, then another — went out, and the switches had been thrown. Only 240vac inside as the safety bar at the entry kept the big juice from happening.

    Thanks for sharing it with us Muck, and glad to see you are using laugh therapy in your arsenal.

    I’m sure we have some political hack in DC that has viewed this and is now looking to enact laws to put a stop to all the ways to die.

    Because stupidity is, apparently, correctable via enacted law. At least that is what the majority of Americans seem to believe.

    It’s for the children you know.
