I’m still getting a kick out of the bakers union cutting it’s own throat. Freaking high-larious! Ranks right up there with Kaiser Steelworkers walking out a few years back. They finally got their jobs back just as Kaiser shut down the foundry plant. I remember driving by there as they were celebrating going back to work. A short time later, the place was a ghost town. Still is! Always will be!

There was a time in this country when unions were truly needed! There are damn few jobs in this country today that require a union to keep employees safe. Unions today are just a yoke around the neck of businesses, sapping energy, efficiency, productivity, personal responsibility and just about every other tangible good from employers. Funny thing is, union employees lose all the same attributes along the way. They even become incapable of seeing the forest for the trees as the Hostess debacle proved. Yes, Hostess was mismanaged into oblivion buy it’s owners but the unions knew that and still chose to kill the beast. Good for them! I strongly support their right to cut their own throats! In the end though, it is I, the gainfully employed who will provide unemployment compensation through taxation of my labour, so it appears that I am the fool.

    I_S,

The entire nation is full of fools.

Have you seen Obama’s fiscal cliff fix?

Part of it is more stimulus spending, for the unemployed. I fear the end will come sudden and fast.

scur·ril·ous/ˈskərələs/Adjective: 1.Making or spreading scandalous claims about someone with the intention of damaging their reputation: “a scurrilous attack”.
    2.Humorously insulting

Notice the spelling you dumb fuck. If you’re gonna use big words the least you can do is spell them right. It saves time, At least if I misspell a word people can figure out what I am saying.

Furthermore, you’re new word makes no sense in the context of your sentence.

The only humor in the medical field is a morbid humor amongst themselves.

I say we all ought to ban this fucker flash big time in “a scurrilous attack” as described in the first part of the official defination.

Bankrupt Twinkie maker seeks $1.8 million in exec bonuses

    November 29, 2012, 11:06 AM

Here’s the latest in the Hostess no more Twinkies saga: The company has asked the bankruptcy judge to approve $1.8 million in bonuses for its top executives for their part in liquidating the business, the Associated Press reported.

The bonuses are needed to retain 19 managers to help with the process, the report said.

Hostess rocked Twinkie fans when the company announced Nov. 16 it would wind down its business instead of emerging from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The company said it chose that path because it couldn’t reach an agreement with one of its largest unions.

The liquidation will result in the closure of 33 bakeries, 565 distribution centers, approximately 5,500 delivery routes, 570 bakery outlet stores and the loss of 18,500 jobs, according to the company.
