Cops: Boys, 7 and 11, attempt robbery with gun
PORTLAND, Ore. — Two boys, ages 7 and 11, are accused of trying to rob a woman with a loaded gun, police said Sunday.
The 11-year-old boy had a .22 caliber loaded handgun when officers found him Saturday at the parking lot of a church, police said. Detectives were investigating how the boys obtained a gun.
“Officers told the 11-year-old to keep his hands out of his pockets but he ignored the officers and tried putting his hand back in his pocket,” Portland police said in a statement. “Officers grabbed his arms and recovered a cocked and loaded .22 caliber handgun in his pocket.”
The boys are accused of trying to carjack a 22-year-old woman who was in her family’s truck waiting for her parents at the church parking lot. The woman said the boys then demanded cash and her phone, and that the younger boy told the older one to “show her your piece.”
“The woman again refused to give them anything and she drove away, calling 911. As she pulled away, she saw the 11-year-old pull the gun from his pocket,” police said.
The boys were apprehended by officers responding to reports of children with guns. When they arrived, the boys tried to run away.
After the boys were caught, officers returned the boys to their families, but the 11-year-old tried to escape his parents’ house, police said. Officers later caught him.

OMG, my dad nearly beat me to death when I (stupidly, and knowingly) shoved three pieces of penny candy in my mouth while checking out of our local grocery store.
Being the young genius that I was, I decided to eat/steal jujubes type candies that were about a half inch thick and the size around of a nickel. Needless to say, it was impossible to chew up and swallow three pieces in time to answer dad’s question.
First I had to march back into the store with the 3 cents my dad gave me, well first after I finally got the candy out of my mouth. Then I had to go and ask for the manager, then return the three cents and offer to wait quietly and unobtrusively while he called the police. When the (shocked) manager declined to prosecute me, I was then instructed to volunteer to work to “pay for” my crime.
My dad stood back by the store doors, watching me fulfill my recently required obligations with a twisted look on his face (disgust and pride, I think) while I nearly hyperventilated while crying and trying to voice my apologies. The manager was nearly speechless.
My ass was sore for a week, my conscience for a lot longer.
And these little animals first took (stole) a gun, then used it? Just wtf?
Do parents talk to their kids about expected societal and family behavior EVER?
Speaking of parents, the KIDS are 11 and 7, just where in the hell were the parents?
Even when I was going through my thug stage (as evidenced above), I would NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, touch my dad’s wallet or his gun rack. Never. Nor any of my friends’ dads. Nor would I stick around if they did it.
Fucking Dr. Spock and other “spare the rod” type parenting, along with welfare for single mothers, have decimated this nations’ children.
Regretfully, instead of getting a good ass-whiping and some physical labor, they will get to traipse through a juvenile justice system that is ripe with bureaucrats, unions, PhDs, and corruption. A “justice” and “reform” system that only seems to teach little Johnny (or Juanita) how to become a smarter criminal while serving to enrich the state and financially decimating the parents. Unless, of course, the parents are illegal, or hoodrats. Then they will be excused, as only the working middle must pay.
My daughter will be saddened that these boys wouldn’t get Santa at their house. “Coal all around,” she’d tell me. I’m not going to tell her that for little bastards like this, he’ll probably still show. Our descent into the third world continues unabated.

But a Hispanic, well it would be the policeman’s fault for not issuing instructions in Spanish. SECOND clue – They returned the children to the families. White trash kids would be immediately taken by DHS as ‘children lacking supervision’ and the White parents would have to spend years and $50,000 in legal to get their kids back. Black kid would be immediately taken by DHS and given to the fostercare system for life. Even after the 11 yr old ran away, police picked up the little armed robber and returned him to his parents a second time. They will NOT split up Hispanic illegal alien families at whatever the cost in Portland. That would be a human rights violation of the poor ‘migrants’.
