    In fact, when Texas finally secedes from the Union, (Lord, please, soon), we are planning to just split all the Blue areas off anyway so it won’t matter.

    Don’t hold your breath. Without an actual war, this is never going to happen. Even if it were to happen, the fed govt would no longer send SS checks or pay for medicare etc to anyone in TX and I’m betting a great many Texans rightly or wrongly, still feel very entitled to these things.

    In my little corner of paradise Californians do migrate here but a great many of them bail as soon as the winter weather allows them to. They have learned to make the DMV their very first stop when they arrive because Cali plates earn them no end of shit. You rarely see Cali plates here at all.
