The liberal MSM must be aghast. We really have two different countries. The liberal do-gooders call anyone owning a gun a nut. The gun owners know the government and media control freaks are the real danger. A war is coming to this country.

Gun Frenzy: Photos Show How Quickly Stores Across the Nation Are Selling Out: “Lines Out the Door”

Mac Slavo December 22nd, 2012 SHTFplan.com

After nationwide calls to ban assault rifles and high-capacity magazines following the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Americans concerned about the government’s coming move to restrict the sale, the transfer, the importation and the possession of firearms deemed too dangerous to be in the hands of private citizens are cleaning out gun stores from coast to coast.

While some retailers have made the decision to suspend sales and stop selling certain firearms altogether, others are seeing sales skyrocket to never before seen levels. Parking lots are packed and hopeful shoppers are waiting hours for their chance to get their hands on weapons, parts and magazines that may soon be banned under Federal mandates.

The following photos taken over a three day period at a local gun store give us a glimpse of just how fast gun stores are clearing out their inventory. According to the shop owner who took these pictures, their store was selling upwards of one thousand guns per day.

Here’s how the store looked on the Sunday before the frenzy:

On Monday:

By Tuesday, shelves were almost clean:

Magazines, especially high capacity magazines, are selling at such a rapid pace that supply and demand has led some retailers to charge three times as much for a single magazine then they did just a week prior to the frenzy. The following photo depicts a once full magazine rack.

(Above Photos Courtesy of The Firearm Blog)

At New Frontier Armory in Las Vegas,  Nevada it has been so busy at one local shop that lines are stretching out the door and into the street (It almost looks like a banking panic!). While lines formed outside, there were reportedly at least 50 shoppers inside the store and everything was flying off the shelves – including over 200 AK-47 magazines which sold out in a matter of a few days.:

Scores of people await approval from the Federal background check system, which reportedly crashed due to the sheer volume of requests.

Video Report: Lines growing exponentially at gun stores; background checks taking in excess of 4 hours:

The Federal government has literally purchased billions of rounds of ammunition in the last two years. Coupled with the riot gear and cross-training of local law enforcement and military for domestic policing and detention operations, many believe they are gearing up for something big.

Moreover, the same government that is obviously mobilizing for some undisclosed future threat, is simultaneously taking steps to disarm American citizens.

Should there be any question as to why law abiding Americans are scrambling to local gun stores, web sites and gun shows to acquire self defense armaments ahead of what many believe may be an outright ban on ownership of firearms?

If the gun and ammo manufacturers have someone to thank it is Obama’s first speech at Newtown.
Just before the end of his “presentation” you could hear everybody racing toward the nearest gun shop and Wal-Mart to stock up. Obama is good for the firearms business.

I went to a gun show in central pa today, it opened at 9 and i got there at 11. This show has 600 dealer tables. There wasnt a single ar15 or ak47 semi auto rifle there when i got in.
I have gone to this show every year for the past 6 years and have never seen it like this, even the one right after BHO’s inauguration.
Fear is driving the gun grabbing crowd but fear is also driving gun owners too.

I can’t hang with you night owls. Anyway, the criminal feds started all this shit. The last time I checked they were stockpiling small arms munitions, purchasing urban assault vehicles, entire production lines of freeze dried foods, and putting out bids for detention camp operational support.

Why? And if so, why shouldn’t the civil population? The feds aren’t stockpiling rations to distribute to the masses in the event of a breakdown in the food supply chain. And they aren’t stockpiling munitions to pass out in the event of an alien invasion. They’re stockpiling these items to insure continuity of government.

The feds have become a means unto themselves, and the rest of the world, including US citizens are their minions. It’s too bad they don’t have a clue what they’re doing, except lying, although it would be interesting to see how they’re going to pull off meeting over $200T in unfunded obligations. Current spending allocations are unsustainable, much less any additional spending. This is going to end one of two ways, the feds print their way to prosperity and maintain status quo, or there is going to be a shift in the status quo. Maybe that is why people are stockpiling the same items as the feds.

The analogy of a boiling frog gets interesting when you toss in an AK and a few mags of ammuntion.

This is for KB… I don’t know why it made me think of him,

The Conflict, Reduced To Simplest Terms

Report: Reverend Who Gave Benediction at Obama’s Inauguration Says He Thinks All Whites Are Going to Hell

Tossed over the transom by MidlanticProducer:

America is sliding backwards into tribalism, defined as “me and my people are gonna get ours, at the expense of you and yours.”

The democrats have done a masterful job of pitting black versus white, rich versus poor, employed versus unemployed, producer versus moocher, now anti-gun versus pro-gun. Now nobody trusts anybody anymore, especially the government because the government has been breaking the law left and right (Fast & Furious, screwing the bondholders in the auto bailouts, etc.).

And the saddest part is that it has happened at a time when white Americans were at their most tolerant and accepting of black Americans

Just because bullets are not flying does not mean we are not in a civil war already. We are in a Cold Civil War, in which the enemy uses information operations to delay, influence, dissuade, disrupt, etc. The Republicans suck at playing that game. The Tea Party is too late to the game and has no real influence on Washington DC as long as they keep falling for the line of “you better work for change within the Republican Party or your third-party efforts will just get Obama re-elected!!” This Cold Civil War has the mass media, the White House, the Democrats, the Republicans, the statist bureaucrats, and the FSA pitted against the productive class, using disinformation and guilt as their primary weapon delivery systems (see Army doctrine on Information Operations used to delay, deny, disrupt, influence, etc.).

Methinks the productive class has caught on to this game, and a significant amount of them are preparing for when this cold war goes hot (hence the mad rush on guns, ammo, magazines since 2008). Who is going to be the target of the lynch mob if, say, the 1st-of-the-month funds to the welfare class are delayed for a week (for tactical/strategic political reasons arising out of the White House)? That particular brigade of the FSA will feel emboldened enough to try to take what they want from Whitey by force.

More important than the lynch mob itself is the invisible hand behind the lynch mob. There are those who would profit from FSA-on-producer violence, who would (with the help of the accomplice MSM) use it as an excuse to crack down on the producers by blaming them: “How dare they be selfish and unfair by protecting that which they have worked to accumulate!”

    Be prepared, be vigilant.

    Build your tribes now.

I wasn’t around in 1860 obviously but it does seem we are nearing that sort of divide again. Flash’s description of it as a Cold War is apt. You look at the electoral map of the US by county and its a sea of red between the coastal blue urban areas. There really are two Americas and they are drifting apart.

I lived in Northern Virginia as a boy. My schools were all white. There were a few foreigners around as this was a suburb of Washington and they worked in the embassies and the international agencies that came with the territory. Today Northern Virginia is awash in a flood of third world immigration. I drove through the neighborhood my elementary school was in one morning last year and didn’t see a white child walking to it. What had been a prosperous neighborhood of modest starter homes for young middle class families had become a barrio, a souk, a bantustan of shabby homes filled with god knows how many people because the real estate isn’t cheap.

I haven’t been to LA for a decade but what was once the whitest big city in America 50 years ago has huge areas that have turned into Mexico or Central America. There are trailer parks and neighborhoods in California now that can only be described as third world. How the county governments allow them to exist is beyond me. Code enforcement has broken down. I cannot see this country staying unified voluntarily though, as in 1861 we may have a Federal goverment willing to use force to keep it from breaking apart. It may have no choice this time though as the urban cores cannot survive without the hinterland to supply them.

In the Houston papers today we have this:

A Harris County gun shop owner received a letter Saturday threatening him, his family and his employees.

“Live by the gun. Die by the gun. You will not live to see Easter,” reads the typed letter that was mailed Thursday in Houston and arrived Saturday at Jim Pruett’s Guns & Ammo.

Jim Pruett was photographed and quoted in the Houston Chronicle last week saying that restricting sales of military-style arms wouldn’t prevent tragedies like the Connecticut massacre. “All it’s going to do is make it difficult for law-abiding citizens to get the best protection they can for their home against, especially in Texas, gangs motivated by the drug cartel,” Pruett said in the Wednesday article.

He said Saturday they were taking the threat from the threat signed by a “Newtown-inspired marksman” seriously.
