GOOGLE CHROME MALWARE WARNING IS FALSE

I understand if you try to reach The Burning Platform through Google Chrome you receive a message that my site MAY be infected by malware. It’s bullshit. There is no malware on the site. Someone posted a picture from a site that has been known, according to Google, to have malware. If you try to access TBP through regular Google, you get no message.

I don’t trust Google. They are pricks. I’m sure Mary Malone’s Who’s Your Lender thread is making the shysters on Wall Street very uncomfortable. I would expect more of this fake bullshit to try and deter people from coming to my site.

Screw Google.

I use Google Crome on another computer and noticed the following on the main page. My most used are The Burning Platform, American Freedom Radio, Republic Broadcasting, and Alex Jones. I await a knock on the door any moment now.

I was getting that malware notice on one computer and not on another, both using Google Chrome.

I do wonder how long this medium freedom of expression will last. T government really hate it, and are probably really pissed at Al Gore for inventing it :o )

We someday soon might have to resort to actually talking to each other again.

I wonder that too. Apparently law enforcement in CT has indicated that “misinformation” spread on social media is a crime and will be punished. I gather the “misinformation” referred to is the horrifically poor reporting and technical inconsistencies in the first few days of the story. Not that I am a conspiracy fan, but….

Doug Casey has observed that the internet has allowed the development of “phyle” social structures, grouping like-minded folks with each other irrespective of geography. That hits home for me, an INTJ in AK, interacting with the rest of you bastards all over the US, and the globe.

When TSHTF, it seems unlikely that the internet will stay “up”, or that most folks will be able to connect to whatever service is still provided. RE had a plan to connect a series of ham radio (if memory serves) broadcasters to maintain worldwide communication. Still, that won’t come close to the e-personal communication we enjoy now.

Meanwhile, while the web is “up”, my power is on and the FEMA boys haven’t yet carted my carcass off for reprogramming, a final wish of a Merry Christmas to the TBPers out there.

I’ll give another plug for Firefox. One feature of Firefox is especially useful here on TBP. You can right click any image and select View Image to see a reasonably sized version that fits in your browser window.

Flagfox and NoScript are two of my favorite things about Firefox. NoScript sometimes slows a page load and that sucks, but it also gives YOU the say-so over whether or not any scripts can run on your browser. Fiddle with the settings a bit and it smooths out nicely. Flagfox just tells you the nation of origin of any website you go to with a little icon in the address bar. It’s an easy way to see if/when you’re getting redirected offworld, as well as all the dozens of other countries in which it is safer to run a website than this festering shithole.

I guess I’ve been running Firefox since about IE5 came out. Too much bullshit, too many ‘assumptions’ of what I ‘wanted’ to see in my search results.

I use flagfox also. Amazon often comes up some other country. They’ve already offshored Amazon to avoid taxes. Good for them.

Adblock for firefox is a must have also, and it’s free. Unfortunetly, if blocks all Admin’s million dollar ads also, including amazon.

The shit throwing monkeys are the only “malware” around here.

I have had trouble accessing a number of sites I usually visit, lately. I assume it is our ‘big brother’ getting nervous about all of the real facts and info being exposed over the internet. Some may be a ‘virus’, but I suspect that it is more our own government’s activities. They may be testing their access to shut down sites or the who internet. I really expect to get on line someday and see…nothing.

@Admin I am sure they are letting us know that we are being watched. It’s an intimidation tactic.

They don’t understand the Irish do they?

Ramping up and putting the pedal to the metal to get as much info out as I can about Fannie, Freddie and Ginnie’s roles in destroying property title, land recording system.

Thanks for keeping the thread alive.

The truth must be told and the guilty punished.

No Google user here. Google ES so I put it on my restricted site list on my puter. Also no warning message from my securty suite. I use the hated IE9 with no plug-ins at all and have no problems.

    Peace.

  16. Leobeer says:

People receiving email from me were getting malware notices because I included a signature picture that is hosted at http://www.freeimagehosting.net . I have since changed to photobucket and there doesn’t seem to be a problem.

It appears to me if there a few malware issues at the host then Chrome assumes that all images at the host are dangerous.

There have been many images uploaded at TBP. It is very likely someone has uploaded a harmless image from freeimagehosting and Chrome now considers TBP to be a malware risk.
