The ultra-liberal corporate mainstream media and the do-gooder control freak politicians see no problem revealing to the criminals who owns a gun. What these nitwits and dumbfucks really did was reveal the easy marks in the community for the criminals. For all the armed criminal types out there, make sure you check the Gannett database before deciding whose house to rob this week. I’m sure you don’t want to get blown away by one the gun “nuts” who has followed the law and gotten a permit to own a gun. Make sure you rob one of the progressive anti-gun households that aren’t in the database.
If You Are On This List You May Be In Grave Danger

Over the weekend a mainstream media web site on the east coast published, presumably in the interest of public safety, a complete list of individuals and businesses that are licensed to carry or own handguns.
Much to the amusement of those who would confiscate firearms from law abiding citizens, the list, complete with an interactive map, essentially allows those who are preparing to commit such crimes as burglary, robbery or worse to locate specific addresses where residents are armed.
The problem, of course, is that in their haste to publicly out and embarrass legal gun owners, The Journal News actually did exactly the opposite of the intended purpose of their exclusive breaking report.
You see, now when a criminal gang decides to target a particular home they can utilize the new map to zoom in on specific homes in a neighborhood to determine if they will be faced with any sort of danger should they choose to attack a particular target.
Put yourself into the criminal mind and consider what you might do should you be compelled to rob a home or business at gunpoint. With that new map available to you, would you be headed to the residence where there is a strong likelihood that someone is armed, or would you skip over that particular house and head to where you know there would be little, if any, resistance?
It’s the epitome of irony.
When gun-grabbers and their ilk laugh about the new interactive map publicly exposing lawful gun owners, what they have actually done is outed those citizens who have no means of defending themselves.
It’s pretty safe to say that if one were to have a sign placed in front of their home, Americans would overwhelmingly prefer to have this one:

As opposed to being the neighbor in this photo:

In the near future criminals are going to realize the internet is a powerful tool for determining the feasibility of striking certain targets. It’s only a matter of time before flash mobs begin to organize, not against gas stations or pharmacies, but private citizens and residences. Should such a thing happen, and fifty people kick in your door and intend to have their way with your family and property, those millions of assault rifles that have been flying off the shelves around the country are going to come in real handy.
While we cherish our privacy and agree that the outing of gun owners has gone beyond responsible journalism, if their is going to be a list, we’d rather be on the one that has our residence listed as heavily armed as opposed to the alternative.
You may be one of those proud non-gun owners who didn’t make the east coast list.
And if you are, you should be terrified, because you may very well be in grave danger.

I say drop them a little polite note about the absurdity of their “gun free zone” idea via email, phone or FB.
Gee, how fast can these hypocrites say “Armed Security”?

LOL I live in NY, and I see this is only for Westchester and Rockland counties with Putnam county still under development, even-though on the map you will see dots all over NYS.
and bluestem, don’t have an AR-15 yet? what are you waiting for, here in a communist state of NY which still has Assault Weapons ban, we only have a limited selection of compliant rifles available to us which are castrated with non folding stock, no flash suppressor and topped off with a 10 round magazine which coincides with the number of cocks Bloomberg and Hillary Clinton suck on daily basis.

My son and his friends ( who are going to be psycopaths based on a neighbor ) hold airsoft parties on our property. We have 3.5 acres in the country and he has terrain and bunkers built for the games. All the older kids have high end airsoft guns that look just like the real thing but for the orange barrel flash. My son has a full auto MP5SD that is made out of metal and looks, feels just like a real MP5SD. He also has a M249 SAW that him and I modified to shoot 40 rounds A SECOND from a 2k hopper. Great fun with a point. Good training for zombies and FSA day.
Anyways every time they have a shoot I put out the AIRSOFT PARTY signs which are 6 foot by 4 foot. I do not want some idiot cop shooting a kid because he thinks there are a dozen kids runnin around with ak’s shootin each other

My AR-15 was my best performing asset this year. It appears to have doubled in price. I had been skeptical of stockpiling lots of ammunition as I never envisioned any numerous or prolonged gun battles with my weapons but I now consider ammunition to be an investment commodity. Since the ability of the government to regulate or tax weapons already in private hands is difficult and legally dubious I think they will go after ammunition as a backdoor method of gun control ( and revenue).
If a 30 round clip for an AR-15 costs $200 or $300 to fill Joe Biden might reason that will price some psycho’s out of the mass murder market or at least discourage firing multiple round into a 7 year old.
A $10 handgun round might even do some good in limiting the ability of hood rats to fire volleys from their cars at each other and force even the thug to only fire aimed shots.

What will liberals do next. I just love that second picture. I wish I had a sign like that, but all my neighbors are packing.
I went online last night, and was searching for .223 ammo. Found what I was looking for on lucky gunner.com. Prices have gone through the roof. I paid double for a 1000 rounds what I paid this time last year, but it was the only place I could find 1000 round lots without buying individually. They have an auto in-stock feature. When I bought, they had 16 1000 round lots left, and they sold out in less than 30 minutes. I couldn’t believe my luck at having gotten ‘em. And on Christmas day no less.

AWD – LuckyGunner always has high prices. I’ve seen several items over the past couple of years I’d like to have bought from them – until I saw what they charge for shipping. It’s still better than Gander Mountain or some other faceless chain store, but not by much.
I’ve also been increasingly disappointed with Cheaper Than Dirt, which is now more like Expensive As Gold with the way they separated their shipping locations to a dozen different warehouses. Natchez Shooter Supplies is reasonable if you know exactly what you’re looking for, Weapons World is quite reasonable if they have what you want in stock, and jgsales occasionally has some interesting incendiary rounds if that’s your flavour. AmmoToGo out in Texas is another one of the better ones I’ve found. For magazines and other accessories, try botach.com. Their site is REALLY difficult to search, but they actually have massive amounts of varied equipment, free shipping, and generally the prices are already lower than the other sites that do charge shipping/taxes.
