    This video pretty much says it all about Americans. I’m betting she’s on disability for some bullshit back problem or fibromyalgia, got the hoveround, the pain meds, the disability check, the back wages check, the SNAP card, free housing, free healthcare, free phone, internet, computer. And, too lazy to walk, and too fucking stupid not to go up an escalator. Obama voter. Perfectly normal and acceptable in America 2.0.

    I’ve been a bit of a prick at various times in my life. Hard to believe I know. When I was a mere ute, raising hell all over Madrid, Spain, I discovered a neat trick to use on escalators in the Madrid Metro or subway system. There were several stations that were very deep underground. The escalators were several hundred feet long and seemed to go down forever. If the subways were particularly crowded or better yet, if you had a friend dragging ass, bringing up the rear, you could yank hard on the black handrail and the escalator would shut down instantly. So, just as you got to the top, you’d yank the handrail and then it all of the sudden the escalator looked like the hike up Mt. Everest on a busy day. Sometimes there would three or four of these extra long escalators in a row so killing all of them really pissed people off. The mere sight of one of these long escalators would cause your friends in the know to catch up quick because they knew what was coming.
