    i don’t recall the statistic but it went something like this: one in 5 latinos know a person who was deported recently. one in 10 had a relative deported recently. then latinos push obama over the top to win the election after he proposes to defer deportations of young latinos. something doesn’t seem right, if a man beat his wife consistently in their four years of marriage, then promised to reduce the frequency of beatings, would she proclaim him husband of the year?
