This true journalist has done what should be done by the Main Stream Media, reporting facts, instead of pushing agendas.

Hat-tip to you Mr. Swann, keep up the good fight.

Here are some of his video segments regarding the shootings and governmental responses to these crises.

And here he is going after the Fed.

I can’t remember if I posted this before.

It’s a pretty good opinion on rational thinking about gun control, from both sides.

But we’re talking government, liberal media and the misinformed, no rational thinking allowed. Only shrieks of idiocracy.

I read your link. Better than most but where is the ‘criminal culture’ addressed? Drug gangs, turf wars, etc. Ethnic gangs …

And grrr the implied use-by date of the Constitution. And seems to be blissfully unaware of what is really different between an assault rifle and the same working parts in a regular stock. Maybe … right, I just found the link and sent it to him.

Btw, since I stopped following the MSM clusterfuck reporting after a couple of days, when did the official narrative agree Lanza used the rifle?

Novista-A few days after the shooting, after the coroner (What an arrogant publicity hound he is!) announced that all the bodies he personally had examined (which was a bunch, but definitely not all) had been hit with high-power rifle rounds.

I understand your confusion-the early reports indicated that the (AR) rifle was found in the trunk of the car. Honestly, there were so many cock-ups and contradictory reports in the first couple days that I just don’t know what to think. Plenty of fodder for the “false flag” conspiracy folks. Goes back to that old saying “cui bono?”

Thanks. Media confusion, incompetence, is a wonder — from the wrong brother to the principal giving a statement to police but actually was a victim and all the rest. Sheesh.

Like I said, it’s a pretty good opinion. A hell of a lot better than the constant parade of media, politicians, Obama shedding a tear, celebrities, and emotional public demanding useless bans, new laws, or outright confiscation.

No one is going to have a solution that will make everybody happy, but unless both sides can talk by using real facts and use rational thinking, we will lose.

media cocksuckers referring to 223/5.56 as a “high power” rifle round are the same dipshits that dont know what an “assault rifle” actually is or the difference between a “magazine” and a “clip.”

If 223 is hipower then what is 30-06, 308Win, 300Winmag, 50BFG, “super power” rounds?

The people who write such things are using the English language to mislead and scare, nothing more.

The simple truth is the government does not give the people the right to bear arms. The reason that the people have guns today is because it is the will of the people to have them. The second amendment to the constitution is no longer valid because the government no longer follows the constitution. It is the will of the people that keeps the government from banning the guns.

We live in a violent society with many criminally irresponsible people. This fact alone causes many responsible law abiding citizens to want to own guns to protect themselves from these criminally irresponsible people.

In the near future gun control advocates are going to push for laws to take the guns away. If these laws are passed they will be ignored. People are not stupid when it comes to their safety. People also know that the government no longer represents the people so passing gun laws will not be respected.

Relying on the second amendment to protect gun ownership is not the argument to use to resist the new gun laws that are coming. The argument has to be personal safety against irresponsible criminal minded people that live among us. The primary purpose of the second amendment WAS to keep the people armed as a protection against a tyrant government. Now that the government has made many amendments to the constitution that is contrary to the original intent of the constitution, don’t expect that the government is going to make their argument for taking the guns away relying on the second amendment. I repeat, the government does not consider gun ownership a right. It can make laws to take the guns away and ignore the second amendment. The reason people have guns today is because it is the will of the people.

The government rules the people by division. This is the way of democracy. It is by majority rule in the division. This is called compromise by the minority. With the media under their control the people in government can create the illusion that a majority of the people are for gun control, and little by little attempt to take the guns away from the people.

We have many irresponsible criminally minded people in our society and that is the problem we need to focus on. Our denial of this is astounding. A mother takes her mentally ill son on medication to the gun range to practice shooting targets. She also allows him to spend his time playing violent video games. What is wrong with this picture? How many mentally touched young men are playing these violent video games? One would say violent video games and guns don’t kill people and yet expect mentally ill people to think the same way a sane responsible person would think?

Gun control advocates have a different agenda than the people they infect with their cunning. Gun control advocates are for controlling people while their intended followers are in a massive state of denial.

The government cannot stop the mass killing. Even a massive police state cannot stop the killing. Taking the guns away from responsible law abiding citizens will not stop the killing. Banning semi-automatic assault weapons will not stop the killings.

It is necessary to realize that our society has devolved into a violent playground that encourages criminality. Violent video games encourage killing. What is the point of a violent video game? Is it not to kill? Now mix those games with people that carry negative emotions. Negative emotions lead to violence; objective violence. Now mix this with the many young males in our society that have an identity problem, lack social skills, cannot get work, and think life sucks. There you go, we have the seeds of violent behavior. Every one of us see these youths around us. They are in rich households as well as poor ones. It is a national problem. And with youth and young male unemployment so high what else do they do but play their violent video games and become candidates for the military.

No wonder the responsible law abiding citizen wants a gun for protection. Armed robbery and armed house break ins are on the rise and are a common daily fact. Domestic violence leading to murder is an everyday fact in every community.

No, gun control is not in the cards. People value their life more than the law. Criminals run our country and the people know it. It is impossible for criminals to make a law that the people will respect and follow. We are fast becoming a lawless society and the only protection left for people is a gun. We have no constitution with it’s second amendment. Words don’t protect people. Only the will of the people exists. And it is the will of the people to have guns.

  8. AKAnon says:

Thunderbird-You make some good points, but I need to quibble about a few:

For better or for worse, the 2nd Amendment is the best place for gun owners to hang their hat, IMO. Agreed, the Feds have ignored, misinterpreted and bastardized the Constitution, but the “will of the people” carries no legal weight. If the gun-grabbers think they have overwhelming public support, they can propose a new Amendment to repeal the 2nd. Not going to happen. Instead, if the Feds ban certain weapons, the masses that do not comply with (illegal) gun confiscation/registration efforts will be criminalized. The Feds cannot expect to catch everyone, but they can single out individuals, make examples of them, and terrorize the rest. No law-abiding citizen wants to live under constant threat of prosecution. To say nothing of the fact that no one will be able to use (including practice-precision shooting is a perishable skill) with their contraband guns.

The whole “mental health” issue makes me nervous. I agree 100% that nutcases, especially on powerful phsycotropic medication (or worse, just quit) ought not have guns. But painting with the broad brush of “mental health” begs the question of who determines mental health and how restrictions are applied. We all know there have been efforts to treat veterans as inherently mentally affected by PTSD. Semi-serious articles have suggested that Tea-Party folks, and conservatives in general, suffer from mental illness or delusion. Similarly, libtards (although I concur with that diagnosis). Point being, if the Surgeon General determines that wanting to own a firearm is a mental illness, it’s all over, much like the “have you quit beating your wife” question, you create a Catch 22 that effectively precludes gun ownership.

  9. Thunderbird says:

AKAnon: Gun ownership for Americans with roots back to the beginning of this country is considered an organic right. No law is going to change that.

You are right; the “will of the people” carries no legal weight. But consider this— legal weight is subjective. The “will of the people” is objective. In other words, people will do what they have to do to survive; legal or not.

There are certain individuals that think the “rule of law: is just and good. Unfortunately, many laws are not good, nor based on an ethical or moral foundation. The population is starting to see this and wonder why we should live by the “rule of law: when it is arbitrary.

The “mental health” issue should not make you nervous if you have been paying attention for the last few years. You should know that we are going through a natural death of a political system that has never worked. The rational thing going on consciously or unconsciously, is that rational. responsible people are arming themselves to get through the dangerous times that are already here.

Dangerous people live among us and they can go off at anytime. Law enforcement cannot be there the instant people go off the cliff. The only chance people have to protect themselves in these instances is to have a gun… a gun held by a responsible law abiding citizen that knows how to use it. Probably people who fall for gun control or taking our guns away, are those that don’t know how to use a gun, so they are afraid of the gun. Idiots!

We cannot let idiots make the laws for us. Your comment seems to indicate that the law (legality) holds sway over the “will of the people.” I beg to differ with you. The “Will of the People” is more powerful than the law when the people decide to press it. There will come a time in this country when the people will weigh consumerism vs freedom. The present template is obsolete. It is now the problem.
