    I think NY is testing the waters, to see how the nation reacts before the prez makes “his” mind up on new gun laws.

    Only seven round magazines will be legal? But, we are comforted with the fact that:
    “This is not about taking anyone’s rights away,” said Sen. Jeffrey Klein, a Bronx Democrat.

    What’s sad is 99% of Americans don’t know a personal right from a state granted right.

    Notice also that the state has changed the definition of an assault weapon by saying any firearm with “military rifle features” is now an assault weapon?

    I agree w/ Card-this is a test case/redefining the terms/a bargaining chip (see how generous we (the Feds) are to let you keep 10 rnders? In NY, you are restricted to 7!). 7 is pretty ugly-lots of 1911 8 rnders out there.
