We are living now, not in the delicious intoxication induced by the early success of science, but in a rather grisly morning after, when it has become apparent that what triumphant science has done hitherto is to improve the means for achieving unimportant or actually deteriorated ends.

Yes, yes, but you are forgetting the Emotional Modifier embedded in Libtard Proglodyte Math.
See, cuz guns are sooooo scary and make all the libprogs pee their collective, aha aha, panties, a death by guns is magnified by 1 MILLION in libprog reality.
Since several of their libprog icons, like Ted Kennedy, have actually KILLED people by drunken driving, that figure gets a NEGATIVE multiplier of minus 1 million.
Once you understand that in the libprog “mind” no fact can be evaluated without the emotional “modifier”, it is all so clear.

Smoking kills 380,000 people per year, yet I don’t hear the liberals trying to ban cigarettes.
Obesity kills 340,000 people per year, and Barney Frank is a fat fairy.
The similarities are uncanny. Out of obscurity to take over a political party then a country to rule by decree. Need I say more?

Liberal progressive love abortion, and support a women’s right to kill her baby before it’s born. At least with guns, you have a chance to run (or shoot back).
Number of abortions deaths in the U.S. this year: 56,988
Number of abortions at planned parenthood this year: 15,450
Number of abortions since liberals passed Roe v. Wade: 55,865, 375
more than 55 million dead and counting. More than died in all the wars combined. I’m not some anti-abortion nutjob, but that number is mind boggling. No mention about it on the good ‘ol liberal MSM ever. Good thing we’re banning guns.

.the libs are trying to ban smoking…Here in California where all the experiments are taking place first, smoking is banned outside of any Kaiser facility (including the parking lots). Not to mention the taxes they continue to pile on these things….It will be this way with the guns too…..Tax you for the purchases to death to make it more expensive to own for the common individual to “protect” society from them. Along with the hidden tax associated with inflation, it Will get really expensive to smoke cigarettes or own guns.

Yojimbo says:
HERE WE GO
Governor Patrick of Massachusetts has proposed legislation that will turn law-abiding citizens into criminals.
SECTION 25. Said section 131M of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by adding the following paragraph:-
Any large capacity feeding device that has or can readily be restored or converted to accept more than ten rounds of ammunition that was legally possessed by an individual prior to the enactment of this act must be sold or otherwise lawfully disposed of within one year of the act’s effective date. Such large capacity feeding devices may only be sold or disposed of to a purchaser authorized to possess such weapons.
TRANSLATION – If you currently legally own a “high-capacity magazine” of over ten rounds, you must dispose of it or sell it within one year or you will be turned into a criminal.
Stunning. And does nothing to address the gun violence in Dorchester and Roxbury.

Novista says:
Death by taxation is a feature of the Canberra clowns. Heh, the treasurer was going to bring in a surplys but oops, various ‘sin taxes’ declined amongst others — and the effect of the carbon tax. Tobacco brought $5.45 billion to the Australian government coffers, down from the estimate of $5.79 Billion. Funny thing about raising taxes — there was a 25% increase in cigarette smuggling as well as a few opting to quit, and X% falling off that wagon.
Supposedly only 10% of population smoke cigarettes, so they pay a higher cost than whatever comes from alcohol — difficulty finding a true figure but appears to be around $3.68 billion.
But fear not, they have their eyes on the public good and various nefarious schemes to tax wine enough to minimize that consumption. They already raised tax on beer again.
The wowser culture is alive — small and vocal about what everyone else should do for ‘the greater good’.

T4C says:
And then there is The Silent Weapon.
“Everything that is expected from an ordinary weapon is expected from a silent weapon by its creators, but only in its own manner of functioning.
It shoots situations, instead of bullets; propelled by data processing, instead of chemical reaction (explosion); originating from bits of data, instead of grains of gunpowder; from a computer, instead of a gun; operated by a computer programmer, instead of a marksman; under the orders of a banking magnate, instead of a military general.
It makes no obvious explosive noises, causes no obvious physical or mental injuries, and does not obviously interfere with anyone’s daily social life.
Yet it makes an unmistakable “noise,” causes unmistakable physical and mental damage, and unmistakably interferes with the daily social life, i.e., unmistakable to a trained observer, one who knows what to look for.
The public cannot comprehend this weapon, and therefore cannot believe that they are being attacked and subdued by a weapon.
The public might instinctively feel that something is wrong, but that is because of the technical nature of the silent weapon, they cannot express their feeling in a rational way, or handle the problem with intelligence. Therefore, they do not know how to cry for help, and do not know how to associate with others to defend themselves against it.
When a silent weapon is applied gradually, the public adjusts/adapts to its presence and learns to tolerate its encroachment on their lives until the pressure (psychological via economic) becomes too great and they crack up.
Therefore, the silent weapon is a type of biological warfare. It attacks the vitality, options, and mobility of the individuals of a society by knowing, understanding, manipulating, and attacking their sources of natural and social energy, and their physical, mental, and emotional strengths and weaknesses.” ~ Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars
I don’t know what to make of this. At the very least….this is an interesting read. Make of what you will.

Hey check out this shit-Bank of Crimi, er, America is DECLINING credit card transactions for the purchase of guns and ammo:
Then there had been reports circulating on the Internet that some banks, such as Bank of America, had started declining card use for purchase of guns or ammo. The bank, quickly issued a statement saying it was due to high volumes…. Yet there are videos cropping up on YouTube for example.

start to burry your best weapon sytems in a sealed container, in your garden. don’t forget ammunitions in the same place.
you can use a surplus water plastic jerrican with a wide opening. then dismount the rifle and store parts in greasy rags. chose a short barreled rifle wich stock can be removed and can enter the said jerrican. you can add any product to prevent moisture.
that’s what we would do here. I’m a gun owner.
