A “Rational” Debate

An outstanding video showcasing the small minded fear present in the “gun control” debate.

gun control isn't about guns

It is sad to say that people like Bray Cary are a dime a dozen.  Pay close attention around the 5:30 mark when this idiot disregards the fact the Supreme Court has ruled multiple times that LEO’s are there to enforce the law, not protect the citizenry.  His physical discomfort when he learns Keith Morgan is armed is priceless.

People need to be able to defend themselves how they see fit and anyone who opposes that is an active supporter of tyranny.

The gun debate’s not a hot button issue for me but I do love people who are smooth, rational, and quick witted debaters. Keith Morgan’s jumped to the top of my list.

Watch this interview and marvel at one brilliant advocate.

These pricks are the same kids that used to get the shit kicked out of them on the school yard by bullies. So, they went to college and learned to be liberals to get back, vis-a-vis flawed and ridiculous logic, those that have and continue to bully them. Hence, they are, and always will be pussies of the worst kind.

Funniest are all those black libtard proglodytes. You tell them it*s about tyranny, not school shootings, they should look at the drugs kids are forced to take. They agree with you and then turn around and keep shouting pro-gunners are lustful for killing.

Like with so many tyrannys, the one`s helping the tyranny to gain a foothold are going to be the ones first carted off to the gas chambers or what they will use next…. Blacks will be the first to become real slaves again and if they dare open their mouths they will get killed instantly.

It will be good to be white and be somewhere else.

New Proposal Will Force Gun Owners to Store Assault Weapons At Government Authorized Storage Depots
    Mac Slavo
    January 18th, 2013

“I have spoken with hundreds of people over the past few weeks in developing this legislation – victims, police officers, criminologists, physicians, and yes – gun owners and sportsmen,” stated Linsky. “There are a lot of good ideas out there. We should all have one goal – reducing gun violence and trying to keep more tragedies from happening.”

    Provisions in the bill include:

Having one standard of the issuance of all gun licenses, giving local police chiefs the ability to evaluate all aspects of an application for a gun license.
Requires proof of liability insurance for possession of a firearm, rifle or shotgun.
Requires that all large capacity weapons and grandfathered assault weapons must be stored at gun clubs or target ranges.
Requires live shooting as part of the curriculum for a basic firearms safety course; this is not a current requirement.
Requires all applicants for gun licenses and FID cards to sign a waiver of mental health records for review to be destroyed after decision.
Imposes 25% sales tax on ammunition, firearms, shotguns, and rifles; dedicates funds towards firearms licensing, police training, mental health services, and victim’s services.
Brings Massachusetts into compliance with the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).
Limits gun buyers to one firearm purchase per month.

While the White House was busy drafting proposals to ban assault rifles, the last of the regulations imposed on Saudi travel to the United States after September 11 were being taken apart. While some government officials were busy planning how to disarm Americans, other officials were negotiating the transfer of F-16s and Abrams tanks to Muslim Brotherhood-run Egypt.

Obama is unwilling to trust Americans with an AR-15, but is willing to trust a genocidal terrorist group with Abrams tanks and F-16 jets. The F-16’s M61 Vulcan cannon can fire 6,000 rounds a minute and the 146 lb warhead of its HARM missiles can do a lot more than put a few dents in a brick wall. The Abrams’ 120 mm cannon can penetrate 26 inches of steel armor making it a good deal more formidable than even the wildest fantasies of San Francisco liberals about the capabilities of a so-called “assault rifle.”

While Obama has not been willing to respect the Constitution of the United States and its Bill of Rights, he was willing to arm a terrorist group whose motto is, “The Koran is our constitution, the Prophet is our leader, Jihad is our path and death in the name of Allah is our goal.” If a High School student wrote that on his Facebook page, he would be in police custody within the hour, but an international organization and national government that trades in such rhetoric gets devastating firepower from our government… free of charge…

Congressional hearings in 1976 proved the CIA had been paying off editors and reporters in most mainstream media outlets.

After 1953, the network was overseen by Allen W. Dulles, director of the Central Intelligence Agency. By this time Operation Mockingbird had a major influence over 25 newspapers and wire agencies. The usual methodology was placing reports developed from intelligence provided by the CIA to witting or unwitting reporters. Those reports would then be repeated or cited by the preceding reporters which in turn would then be cited throughout the media wire services. These networks were run by people with well-known liberal but pro-American big business and anti-Soviet views such as William Paley (CBS), Henry Luce (Time and Life Magazine), Arthur Hays Sulzberger (New York Times), Alfred Friendly (managing editor of the Washington Post), Jerry O’Leary (Washington Star), Hal Hendrix (Miami News), Barry Bingham, Sr. (Louisville Courier-Journal), James Copley (Copley News Services) and Joseph Harrison[disambiguation needed] (Christian Science Monitor).[7]

I can’t speak for the coroner, his observation, his opinion or his political affiliation. I’ve yet to see anything like an official list of the handguns used in the shooting which seem to change from between 2 and 4 guns. One of them could have been a .22 caliber which is the same caliber as the 5.56/.223 round alluded to, but not near as powerful. The entry wound would look exactly the same but if there were exit wounds they would be completely different given the added power the 5.56/.223 has. I don’t know how he came to that conclusion but perhaps someone can come up with a Coroner’s Report which should be public information and should be released at some point upon request. Perhaps it’s just what you said — noise. Perhaps we’ll never know for sure. Wouldn’t surprise me.

I love to see a talking head lose control of the narrative.

Meanwhile, I had an email fwd from a friend in Virginia with examples of intrusive questions …

When I had my gangrene gallbladder taken out and spent 10 days in the hospital for what should have been an overnight stay the insurance company kicked me out. I had home nurse visits for two weeks and was asked if I had guns in the house. I respond that if I did I would not tell them.

My doctor asked me if I had guns in my house and also if any were loaded. I, of course, answered yes to both questions Then he asked why I kept a loaded gun close to my bed. I answered that my son, who is a certified gun instructor and also works for Homeland Security, advised me that an unloaded, locked up gun is no protection against criminal attack.

I had to visit a doctor other than my regular doctor when my doctor was on vacation.. One of the questions on the form I had to fill out was: Do you have any guns in your house?? My answer was None of your damn business!!

I had a doctor’s appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found out something very interesting that I would like to pass along. While going through triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three questions: 1. Did I feel stressed? 2. Did I feel threatened? 3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone? The nurse then informed me that if I had answered “yes” to any of the questions I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security.

Gun control by stealth, is it? Fugem.

The host was exposed as a tool and a fool. Keith is a great spokesman for the second amendment. He would have Piers choking on his own drool. As a quick aside I found an old Gun magazine where the NRA was trying to fight the Brady bill and assault weapons bill. The dynamic has changed so much in 20 years because with the internet the media’s monopoly on information is destroyed. We can respond and post in real time and share on social media our stances backed by facts. The media bosses are not used to this. They are used to being the monopoly on debate and having the final say. We can pull up Diane Feinstein from 1995 on 60 minutes saying she supports gun confiscation. Why the hell would anyone trust her ever? I say never trust politicians who don’t trust citizens with guns. There is no right to police protection and the second amendment provides teeth in the bill of rights. Ask how are we doing against IEDs and small arms fire in Afghanistan? Fuck these two bit ass hat media clowns.

    http://apocalypsecometh.com/the-twenty-three-new-executive-orders/
#1 Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

This one is vague to the point of obscurity. What do they mean by relevant data? Personally, I think this one is a straw man, it seems so innocuous that for me I think this was signed so that the first time someone came across this list, they would be discouraged from reading any further.

Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

Aahh, here we start to see where this going. Ever had an experience with the mental health system? Take psychotropics? Even if you have a completely clean record, look for any evidence of either to make you ineligible for gun ownership. This executive order eviscerates the Doctor client privilege when it comes to mental health professionals. Considering how many people are on those poisons, it makes is extremely more difficult for people who might need some protection that much harder to obtain.

Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

See the explanation to number two above but with federal money involved. Don’t want to share medical records with the Feds? Lose your state federal funding for Medicare and Medicaid.

Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

What categories are going to be included? This gives the Attorney General the power to include any category of individual to be denied the ownership of a gun. One question that I have is, does this give the government the power to confiscate the firearms of selected “categories” of citizens after they’ve been identified? And who‘s going to be categorized as “dangerous”. It could be anybody or any group, and if you take this to its extreme, all the AG has to do is determine that anyone not employed by the government as dangerous and attempted confiscation here we come.

    Lexington Common…. NY?

    Hmmmm…

Assault-rifle owners statewide are organizing a mass boycott of Gov. Cuomo’s new law mandating they register their weapons, daring officials to “come and take it away,” The Post has learned.

Gun-range owners and gun-rights advocates are encouraging hundreds of thousands of owners to defy the law, saying it’d be the largest act of civil disobedience in state history.

“I’ve heard from hundreds of people that they’re prepared to defy the law, and that number will be magnified by the thousands, by the tens of thousands, when the registration deadline comes,’’ said Brian Olesen, president of the American Shooters Supply, one of the largest gun dealers in the state.

Some folks in Albany apparently forgot how the American Revolution actually started.

The British decided they would try to learn exactly who had muskets, ball and powder — and intended to confiscate same. They sent a force to do exactly that, and were met by 70-odd Minutemen at Lexington Common, bearing arms.

The British ordered the Colonists to surrender their weapons. The Colonists refused.

Nobody is quite sure who shot first, but that was the actual start of the American Revolution.

It did not start over “taxation without representation”, although it can certainly be aruged that we are in that state today, where we are taxed but as citizens ignored, especially when it comes to the outrageous and blatant activity of various entities, whether it be banks or health care related firms.

No, the actual shooting started over something much more basic — the Crown’s attempt to confiscate firearms.

I’ve repeatedly had this conversation with a number of people both online and off. It is simply shocking at how poor our educational system is today when it comes to matters of basic American history. Many people believe we went to war over taxes and that was the “spark” that set off the shooting.

    They’re wrong.

Oh sure, taxation was a big deal — and we’re talking about taxes of a couple of percent, as opposed to the 40+% levied today when one looks at local, state and federal taxes. Certainly this, along with many other abuses, was a factor.

But the fact remains that the actual cause of armed hostilities in 1775 was an attempt to confiscate military-style weapons from the citizens.

State officials will be nervously watching the registration figures to see how many gun owners comply, sources said.

    I’d be nervous too.

After all, what comes next if the citizens refuse to comply? There are only two options, really — either the State backs down and repeals the law or attempts to enforce it.
