    I generally reject covers, but not this time. Miss Nena is pretty easy on the eyes (although a little scrawny for my taste), but for listening, I prefer the energy & style of Goldfinger. The Simpson vid is pretty classic, tho.

    As an aside, every time I hear that Fun. song “Some Nights”, I think they should give a credit to Nena for the “this is what we’ve waited for-this is it boys, this is war” they ripped off.

    She’s quite attractive and in my league …… 52 yoa. She’s German, and if she can whip up a good meal of sauerkraut, pork, mashed potatoes with a side of tasty pepper slaw, I might consider asking her out. Might.

    Both are good videos, but I like Nena’s better. You might say I’m a little biased. I remember watching that video when MTV first showed it in 1983, and also listening to it being played on the top 40 countdown. Watching it brought back great memories! I graduated from high school in 1980, so admin, I think we are about the same age.

    Check out Nina Blackwood (one of the original VJ’s on MTV) on her radio show “Absolutely 80′s” the 80′s on 8 on Sirius XM Radio. Her website is ninablackwood.net, sure to bring back memories.
