The government hasn’t put one criminal Wall Street banker behind bars, but they are going after the real criminals – farmers selling raw milk. Fuck the government!!!
Correction: In this original title caption it was reported 39 tons of inventory were confiscated. That number was incorrect. The exact weight of inventory confiscated was 36,420 LBS or 18.2 tons, NOT 39. I apologize for that. I am going to keep this original video up but make sure that correct number is reported per this disclaimer. Thank You.
Morningland Dairy, a family business that has been in operation for over 30 years without a single complaint or report of any illness has ceased today. The over two year battle they’ve had with the Missouri Milk Board ended today with a raid and confiscation of over 250 thousand dollars of inventory seized by the state. As a result of the legal stipulations put on Morningland Dairy which are impossible to comply with they will no longer be able to produce their product.
The real crime they are being persecuted for is producing cheese with raw milk. Whether the state wants to admit it or not that is what their real charge is and that in itself is criminal.
This should be the shot heard ’round the rural world. What has been done to this family is a travesty of justice. Their livelihood has been destroyed. These are good people who ran an honest business. How much more tyranny will we tolerate before we tell the state, Enough!
If we would have had a strong Constitutionally minded Sheriff in Howell County Missouri this would never have been allowed to happen. Sheriff Mike Shannon, where were you? Why didn’t you return any calls or emails? Why did you send your deputies to assist in this theft? We would like some answers.
For more on Morningland you can do a simple search on the search engine of your choice or follow this link.

This kind of bullshit is shameful. Too many laws and too many bureaucrats and this is what the world turns into.
Just shameful. Thank you USDA, for putting hard-working American farmers out of business and in jail.
That’s your job, right?

I’ve been trying – without luck – to get people interested in this. Most people think, “raw milk is dangerous, what’s the big deal” and have ZERO understanding of the reality of pure, wholesome, not altered – and heat sure as hell alters things – foods.
Safety over health and long-time cherished traditions.
In Michigan we decided that pig farmers had to only raise certain types of pigs. The state came up with a list of 11 ways that make a pig feral, but not one of them is because the pig is running and living in the wild. Please go look up feral, I could be wrong, but I think FERAL means wild. Anyway, the bill was pushed through by the mega-farms pig lobby, under the guise of protecting their genetically mutated and built for market – not flavor or nutrition – stock. Michigan farms whose stock goes back generations are finding their livelihoods destroyed, and in some cases the farmer jailed, see it can be a seven year felony to have a pig with black fur. Insanity. Simply insanity.
When you add up the hundreds of new ways a person can be jailed for doing nothing more than making food choices, it is unbelievable we have allowed it to happen.
The government is killing diversity to satisfy the desires and greed of their corporate owners. They call it food safety but anyone with a brain cell should be able to figure out what it really is.
Another way we are being herded into a more homogenous and easily controlled sheeple. Ever sicker, ever more dependent, ever less resistant to standing up for ourselves. Welcome to the future.

Guest Post: A Louisiana Grocery Store Is Forced To Raise Milk Prices By State Regulators
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 01/28/2013 11:29 -0500
Via Michael Krieger of Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,
You might have to read this post twice to make sure your eyes didn’t deceive you. This article is actually completely different from my recent pieces on stealth inflation, but is even more infuriating. In this case, a grocery store called Fresh Markets decided to sell milk at a bargain basement price as part of a promotion, yet the state has deemed the price “too low.” As a result, the chain is being forced to raise the price. Yep, at a time when millions are struggling every day to make ends meet, this is what the state of Louisiana has decided it a priority that the cost of milk is higher for consumers in the state. This is exactly what happens when bureaucrats exert to much influence in our daily lives. From the Daily Caller:
Louisiana state regulators recently cracked down on a supermarket chain’s weekly promotional deal because it was selling milk too cheaply — which violates state law.
The upscale Fresh Markets was selling gallons of milk for $2.99 as part of a weekly promotional deal. Louisiana requires that retailer price markups be at least six percent above the invoice and shipping costs of the product.
“They can sell it six percent over cost all day long. It’s when they sell it below cost that it becomes a problem,” State Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain told The Advocate.
After getting a complaint about Fresh Market’s promotional deal, Strain’s office sent an auditor to a French Markets store.
At least one Fresh Market shopper was outraged when he found that the state government had intervened to control the store’s milk prices.
No one can seem to put a banker in jail, but sell milk too cheap and regulators are all over you. What a disgrace.

First, you make ridiculous laws and regulations, then you demonize the “non compliant” and throw them in jail, scaring the rest of the population.
The criminals in Washington created 20,000 new laws just last year. You are probably breaking the law right now and don’t even know it. Then, they come after you. Tyranny at it’s finest.

I agree, there is WAY too much government in every area. Has anyone else seen the cable show Moonshiners? Some of these people are fourth generation moonshine makers, but it’s against the law. That is outrageous! George Washington made moonshine! Instead of putting decent people in jail why not just have testers come out when the batch is ready to make sure it’s safe, then collect a tax on it when sold? Same with hemp-why is that illegal? The founding fathers grew it and at one time growing it was MANDATORY. You can’t even get high off it, and it’s not difficult to distinguish from marajuana. Oh yeah, because the logging industry lobbied CONgress. SO much of our laws are regulated by special interests it’s hard to wrap your head around it.
“A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.” – George Washington

TeresaE: When I lived in Hawaii we had wild chickens that fed on bugs from our property and laid eggs in our carport. We had fresh eggs everyday. Some of our guests visiting us from the mainland would not eat the eggs and wanted store bought ones instead. They were afraid of the eggs even thought they tasted so much better than the store bought ones.
Many people are losing their connection to nature and their taste for natural foods. The government and corporations have taken advantage of their ignorance. Look at all the unhealthy fast food consumed by the people in this country? I wonder if this food full of chemicals is causing the reduction of intelligence in the population? What? A fresh egg with it’s great taste is less desirable than an old store brought chemical laden processed egg? Something is wrong with this picture. And there you have it with raw milk. Many ignorant people won’t drink raw milk. Why? Because they have become brain dead about reality. And many of these people are highly educated from schools and colleges they went to to receive their education by rote! Meaning they don’t understand what they have learned to know, and they don’t know how to understand what is in front of their face. They are zombies. The walking dead.
The government and the corporations are taking advantage of this situation with the general populous to impose senseless regulations on small private producers and take over the economy.
We really no longer live in a free country. Government controls everything; even the food we eat. Many people are descending into the intelligence of the cattle and domestic animals we eat. They are being used by the government machine for the benefit of the government machine and the corporations they support. They are empty vessels to be used and discarded when no longer useful.
The government has become a machine used by the monsters that serve the darkness.

The new manager and I became friends, he told me due to new milk regulations, the higher cost of milk and tax’s his company closed down both plants.

My Grandfather was a dairy farmer and did not buy his first store bought gallon of milk until he was in his late 70′s after he retired. He drank raw milk from birth until his 70′s and lived to 97. I use to love when I was a kid and I would drink warm milk 10 minutes after it came out of the cow and went through a strainer.
I am so glad I am older and got to see America when it was not that bad of a place.

This Howell County is about 18 miles away. I am very surprised by the non-answers concerning 2nd amendment and gun confiscation. We are rural, redneck, hillbilly, gun packing patriots. I am concerned about what our sheriff thinks about this. Before election, I personally questioned his unconditionally constitutional opponent about this very thing.

Here’s a list of more outrageous government overreach:http://www.naturalnews.com/038874_baby_deer_police_state_jail_time.html
The bastard a@#holes behind this action are, predictably, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR). This is the same name as the department in Michigan that forced small farmers in that state to murder their own baby pigs.
What we are seeing today across America, both at the state and federal levels, is big government gone BAD, ignoring the real criminals at the top while threatening, fining and imprisoning the “little people” who are only trying to do the right thing.
Recent examples:
Michigan gardener Julie Bass was threatened with jail time for teaching her young son gardening skills in a home garden planted in her front yard.
A woman in Tulsa, Oklahoma had her medicinal garden destroyed by thuggish government “officials” who waited until she was gone before gutting her entire plot of edible herbs.
James Stewart, the California “raw milk man,” was subjected to unbelievable jail torture in LA county for the “crime” of distributing fresh farm milk to happy customers. His “Rawesome Foods” was hit with an armed multi-agency government raid during which $50,000 in fresh eggs, milk, fruit and meat was confiscated and then destroyed. As he was held in jail in LA county, he was subjected to starvation, hypothermia and having his jail cell intentionally flooded with raw human feces as punishment.
These are just a few of the many examples of the government police state gone mad in America. There are many more for anyone who dares to look.
Government has become too large, too powerful, too arrogant and too dangerous
