Two highly successful libertarian iconoclasts – Peter Schiff and Doug Casey – in a wide-ranging, thought-provoking conversation covering precious metals, the status of Peter’s father, Irwin Schiff, the near future of the US dollar, and much more.
As challenging as some of the ideas Peter and Doug expressed may be, they’re just a sample of a principled libertarian way of thinking. Get a deeper perspective by reading Doug’s new book, Totally Incorrect. It’s sure to shake up your thoughts on several topics.

This is not the proper place to post this but has anybody noticed the talk of cyber threats has increased?
On the radio all last week, on the radio this morning, and now the report is the energy department has been hit two weeks ago with a “major sophisticated” cyber attack. Obviously the fault of China or Iran.
Wasn’t one of the predictions this year of false flag events to initiate internet control?

I get enough to get a slice of pizza. Don’t buy the book unless you really want to read it.

Doug Casey cracks me up. I enjoy his outlook and advice, but he’s not really Joe Sixpack.

I expect he and his friends have excellent private security…but Argentina might not turn out to be the best place to be if TSTF.

My choice is a small farm in the Philippines, far from any city. South America is still too close to the Empire. China is our neighbor and the big dog in this neighborhood, but has enough problems of it’s own to be a problem here, and it is still 800 miles away.

When the SHTF it will be world wide. The USA will not go down alone. It will always be someone else at fault and they will have to suffer. There is no totally safe place to retreat to or store your stuff. Misery loves company and will demand it at gun point.
With all the shit that could possibly go down the best thing to do, no matter where you are, or what you have is to become invisible.

I like Peter Schiff and even Doug Casey. But they are way to optimistic.

Another good (17 min) video with Schiff explaining why the DOW is at 14k, the unemployment number, interest rates, bonds, the obama recovery, the obama recession/depression, gold, and the rest of the world.
