    Such are the obvious fallacies of liberal Dem logic.But let’s not forget the the fallacies of neo-con logic that are also responsible for the mess we’re in.

    1.Corporations are people.
    2.Markets are self-regulating.
    3. Free trade is good for the average American.
    4.Christian fundamentalism will save us if we only put our faith in God.
    5. If the wealthy pay no taxes they will build things that stimulate the US real economy.
    6. We need a strong military presence abroad to look out for American interests.
    7. The War on Drugs is money well spent.

    Both camps have their sacred cows.

    Eddie – a couple of your arguments are straw men – nobody advocates the rich pay “no” taxes. Also I’ve not heard anybody say markets are “self regulating” – FREE markets are efficient. Some of your other args veer a little close too.

    Yes, and “people” are corporations.

    A person can be a corporation but a human being cannot.

    Governments –well the kind that follow the Constitution– can interact with persons, people or corporations but not human beings without their consent or unless they’ve injured another human beings rights.

    From a legal interpretation these are factual statements.

    Sovereignty.
