Is this reasonable for the government to have to protect its agents?

Turbo charged Cummings diesel at 70 MPH moving 30,000 lbs. No thats not overkill. Didn’t Barry say he wanted an army here in the US as strong as our military to “protect” us. Protect my ass, it is stunning to see the largesse out of our federal government as they buy these toys for the DHS. Then they go out and buy the state and local LEO off with grants and handing out various “tools” needed to protect the public. Our compliance shows no bounds as we continue to accept this as normal. This will not end well.

We are definitely throwing our money away on the DHS. What a huge waste of resources.

That is for 2013, on top of 59.7 Billion in 2012 and 54.8 billion in 2011. Fucking disgusting. Pardon my language.

You gotta look at it in a positive light.

We know these exist, but most people don’t. So those people you don’t like, the neighbors you wish would disappear, the idiot at work you can’t stand, or anybody else you want gone. You turn them in to DHS (say they have illegal guns, are terrorists, have more than 5 days food stored away), and presto! Gone to a FEMA camp.

$54 billion spent per year for a fascist police state? Thank God for taxes, we are feeding them our hard earned money so they can wipe us out.

DHS is furnishing something close to this rig for our county swat team. DHS offers some of the city/county police officers FBI academy training, and a quarterly stipen of 1600.00 for their loyality.

You can’t make this shit up. Remember these are special ops team and they are here to help(control) you. They are nothing more than para-military organization heading towards a federal police state.

I’m sitting here with my little .223 Mini-14 Ruger “assault rifle” and one of these rigs comes across my lawn with 15 armed soldiers able to withstand 50 caliber rounds, and of course I am going to get into a fire fight with them in my stick built house.

Kind of understand why the federal gov’t. is one trillion over budget. This kind of stuff scares the shit out of me.

A waste of good money, time, and it’s overkill. We’ve already seen a number of times when a can of gasoline and a lighter can cook some citizen’s ass just as easily as 15 armed thugs with armored Humvees and .50 caliber guns. Whole bill wouldn’t come to $20.00. DHS and local police are inefficient. Drones with napalm are in the works. No more blocking traffic for hours.

    Hey Welshman,
“I’m sitting here with my little .223 Mini-14 Ruger “assault rifle”——- Don’t worry. Rest easy. The government is going to give you seven rounds to protect your home and family. Yes, that will be plenty of ammo for you—- It’s kind of like when Andy of Mayberry gave Barney one round for his revolver. You can sit comfortably on your couch clutching your little gun knowing full well that with those seven rounds you can fend off armored vehicles, swat teams, helicopters, drones with napalm, etc. The government is always looking after your safety.

At least they’re not soldiers, they are “operators”. Wait, isn’t that what Blackwater calls their mercenaries in the sandbox?

OT-As a point of fact, I believe it is impossible to acquire a Cummins diesel that is not turbocharged.

Welshman-Your Mini 14 may not be an assault weapon yet, but if Diane Cumstain gets her way, it will be so defined. Also adding M1 Carbines to the list.

Soda police SWAT team in NYC uses DHS armored vehicle for tactical takedowns
    Dateline New York City -

In a move described by some as “ludicrous” and others as “ridiculously asinine”, New York City Mayor Michael “The Nanny” Bloomberg has taken a bold step – in goose step lock step with FLATUS Moochelle Obama – in combating the overweight epidemic that’s holding New York City – and all of the USSA – in its firm but flabby grip.

Beginning on March 12 of this year, no soft drinks over 16 ounces will be allowed to be sold along with meals, delivered or in restaurants within the Big Apple.

“I think it’s for the best,” stated New York City resident Mahmoud Mohammed Ahmed Muhammud Allahu Akbar when we spoke to him this afternoon outside a popular New York pizzaria – “Hey, the government knows what’s right, and once these people get used to the idea of submitting and doing what they’re told, we’re one step closer to Sharia!”

Not everyone agrees – most of those we interviewed on the busy streets of downtown Manhattan said they were really getting fed up with “this whole government control thing”.

Fortunately, New Yorkers will have a hard time standing up for their soft drink rights, what with all the new gun laws recently passed in New York. But just as no one needs an assault weapon or a high capacity magazine clip for any sporting purpose, neither does anyone need more than 16 ounces of soft drinks – even when they’re a family.

What? They didn’t order the MRAP claw option for the front bumper? What a bunch of cheapasses!
It’s for our protection you know.

Their body armor is not going to help them so much the large caliber rifle fire, plus those uniforms and SWAT toys do not look to be fire resistant.

The kinetic energy of the projectile may not go through a vest or penetrate a trauma plate but that energy is distributed to the individual under the vest. Severe organ damage and internal bleeding can result.

We finished building 21,000 riot grenade dischargers and 5300 vehicle mounting kits last year to the gubmint. They were all black, not desert tan or olive drab as previous contracts.

I wonder who will be using these?

What was missing was the vehicle and men being in black with lightning bolts and swastikas.
This reminds me of when i ran into an under cover cop who slid sideways in front of me than stopped in an intersection.I had like ten cops all around me and they’re boss was telling me his version of what happened. It was fun arguing with the cops about what happened.I did win the argument though.
A group of thugs show up at your house and your going to come out on top?You might as well buy some lube.
