if i go to LA to go shopping or to dinner, i pay $14 to park at americana or the grove, $7 in santa monica, $5 downtown, $25 in hollywood and $10 at citywalk. add that cost to your meal and that is a pretty expensive burger or steak. forget going to the planetarium. we still have free parking everywhere in the AV. up until a few years ago, it was SoCal’s best kept secret. then the housing madness encouraged angelenos to sell and move to the suburbs. crap.
