Below is a picture of the Obamacare regulations. This is over 20,000 pages and measures 7′ 2.5″. These are all the Obamacare regulations published in the Federal Register up through last week. I’m sure this will do wonders for the efficiency of our healthcare system. I can’t wait for my $2,500 annual reduction in medical costs that Obama proclaimed when he was ramming it through Congress against the will of the people. I wonder if Nancy Pelosi has read them. I bet these 20,000 pages of rules, regulations and penalties will lead to a surge in hiring. As H.L. Mencken once said, “Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.”
We are about to get it good and hard.

I predict it will be repealed in its entirety before Obama leaves office. Give it six months for the utter stupidity to become financially apparent to anyone left who has a job. There will soon be a groundswell of backlash like you will not believe.

Considering the Health Care Industry has spent about 8 times as much on the Washington lobby/bribes as any other business group, the size of the pile is about right.
I’ll bet Pelosi “We have to pass it to see what’s in it!” still doesn’t have a clue what’s there or how many barrels of pork were rolled into it.
I hope you’re right Eddie, but don’t bet the farm on it. It’s just another whack with the axe on the tree where we all live and sooner than later, that tree will fall and so will we.

Here is one of the new perks-switching your provider without your knowledge or consent: http://www.survivalblog.com/2013/03/getting-prescription-drugs-for-teotwawki-by-sara-sue.html
Hey, wait a minute, we have private drug insurance through my husband’s previous employer – he is now retired. We didn’t sign up for Medicare Part D because we didn’t need it. We already had good insurance. How can they switch you over like that without your knowledge or permission? ObamaCare, that’s how. The out of pocket costs for his prescriptions is now more than 10 times what they were the last year (i.e., $10 co-pay versus a $100 co-pay per prescription + a deductible that quadrupled and an out of pocket cap that doubled). And this happened with no warning.

I wonder what’s on page 15,864 I really do.
I wonder how many new mays they will have to fine us, and/or jail us.
Every new legislation MUST contain punishments, otherwise the law becomes just a suggestion. Let’s assume 10% of the volume is dedicated to punishments — a very reasonable assumption.
That means, of course, 2,000 more pages dedicated to fucking you up. Don’t forget folks, “they hate us for our freedoms”.

The good thing about ObamaCare is those people shuttled to Medicade for which they have to pay for will be reluctant to give it up if those on Medicade who don’t pay for it don’t have to give it up.
When the shit hit’s the fan more people will be left with out insurance. Which according to Karl Denninger would be good thing if all cost shifting is rung from the system and insurance goes back to being insurance.

Paul Ryan is proposing a plan to balance the budget and repeal Obamacare, two things that would vastly help this country and/or save this country from collapse. But the Nancy Pelosi’s, Maxine Waters’ and Harry Reids of this country (and Obama) would rather see our country collapse.
Obama is already spending $1.1 trillion on welfare (including Medicaid) a year and wants to give more free shit and healthcare to an additional 16 million people. He will succeed of course. And you will be paying vastly more in Obamataxes and have your healthcare destroyed. A fair deal right? Long live the FSA! Forward to Socialism!
Paul Ryan’s Plan to Balance the Budget in 10 Years Is D.O.A.: Politico’s Ben White
Republican Congressman Paul Ryan, and chair of the House Budget Committee, has proposed a new plan that balances the budget in 10 years with no tax increases. The plan is a lot like the one Ryan ran on as a prospective vice presidential candidate in the last election.
The plan would replace Medicaid with block grants to the states, substitute vouchers for Medicare recipients who prefer private insurance and repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

before obamacare my prescription drug copay was 6 dollars. now we pay the full cost of the prescription. Blood pressure medecine for the wife costs 1600 a year. before it was 72 bucks a year. our once acceptable health care plan doesnt seem to actually cover anything anymore until after we spend 14,000 out of pocket. on top of the 7000+ it actually costs. so they get one fifth of our before tax combined income. after tax they get 28% of our income. and this is the affordable care act?
wonder what kind of pricing we would have with the unaffordable care act.

Stuck, between Obamacare and the database of unsuitable potential gun-owners, many in America are going to realize that the old days of keeping your crazy behind closed doors made a lot of sense. When “I’m sad because my dog/dad/spouse died” is now the rallying cry of “NO GUNS!” I think it is much more than Ocare that will drive the shutdown of mental facilities.
Besides, with few exceptions, mental care has already been delegated to general docs. Nobody wants to face and actually work on the painful issues that have created the mindset you have today. Give me a pill and I’ll be on my way.
Sad days, those that are in need of real help and real work are chemically lobotomized and we call it good enough.

Your pic of those FSA parasites I will tell you a true story.
There is a fork in the road in town and one day I was walking by it on the way to the town hall.
There is a sign pointing to the state capital on both forks.
A city slicker pulled up and asked me if it made a DIFFERENCE which fork he took to get there.
I hooked mt thumbs in the shoulder straps of my grubby bib fronts, shuffled around a bit, and leaned over so I could make good eye contact and replied…………………..
NOT TO ME IT DON’T!

Pretty funny.
Rule of Thumb: Whatever the name of the act is …. the real meaning is exactly OPPOSITE of that.
—– PATRIOT Act …. wasn’t patriotic
—– HAMP ….. wasn’t “affordable” and was little more than a drop of piss on a raging inferno in terms of actually modifying loans.
—– Consumer Protection Act ….. protected everybody but the consumer
Ad infinitum, too many examples to mention.
.
BTW …same also holds true for Government Agencies …. such as DHS, unless one actually believes they are protecting our homeland … or, the Department of Defense, unless one really believes it’s really about defense … or the IRS is really a “service” …… ad infinitum.

In order to pay for 16 million more FSA members getting on Medicaid, they are cutting the legs out from under Medicare, psychiatric services, prescription plans etc., and of course, raising taxes. The fines haven’t started yet, but they will kick in; $2000 per individual. All designed to push you into the waiting arms of the HMO’s (the people that wrote Obamacare). The HMO’s have free reign now, and you will pay exponentially more for exponentially less.
