Mortgage Rates Just Hit A Four-Month High

Rising rates may be a sign of an improved economic outlook, but this won’t help: 30-year mortgage rates just hit a four-moth high according to Zillow (via PragCap).

This might be seen as a failure of the Fed, but then, they are purposely not buying many long-end Treasuries, so this can’t be too surprising to them.

    Arabic news network Aljazeera reports that the Iraqi Parliament just passed a unanimous resolution on its first day of business.

    Iraq will seek authorization from the UN Security Council to launch a military invasion on the United States of America. It said there is overwhelming evidence that the US has manufactured and launched weapons of mass destruction worldwide, resulting in untold damages.

    Quote: “Mankind including Iraqi citizens have been unjustly attacked by two dozens perpetrators of sophisticated WMD, designed in and launched from America. These attacks shocked the peaceful world community into despair with great loss of well-being. Yet none of these criminals have been held accountable. They continue to enjoy the good life, their sumptuous personal fortune of untold billions fully available. Since America will not pursue justice, the Iraqi people will.”

    As evidence of the perpetrators of WMD, Iraq simply points to Time magazine ‘deck of cards’ listing the most-wanted. They will be the first priority for capture as soon as the Iraqi invasion force has occupied the White House.
