SSDI IS THE SIZE OF GREECE

The number of people on SSDI now exceeds the entire population of Greece. Anyone who argues that the rise in people on SSDI is normal and predictable is either a dumbfuck or a lying liberal Obama lover. The aging of the population has nothing to do with the increase. In 1968 there were 51 workers for every person on disability. Today there are 13 workers for every person on disablity. I think even liberal douchebags would agree that medical advancements since 1968 have been significant. These medical advancements would argue for less people being on disability and unable to work. Even a liberal douchebag would agree that workplace safety measures have been increased exponentially since 1968, so that also argues for less disabled workers. The good old ADA law forced all workplaces to become disabled friendly. That argues for less people on disability. The country has transitioned from a manufacturing society to a service society. Workers don’t work on dangerous assembly lines anymore. Robots do the dangerous stuff. Even a liberal ideologue would agree. This should have dramatically reduced worker injuries and disabilities.

Everything I’ve pointed out is true. The tremendous increase in people on SSDI is nothing but a gigantic fraud, perpetuated by the Federal government and slimy lawyers. The government broadened the scope of disabilities to include stress, depression, and non-diagnosable things like aches and pains. I have stress, depression and pains too, but I get the fuck up at 5:15 every morning and go to work. The SSDI program is a joke. More than half the people on SSDI are lazy good for nothing leeches. They are sucking you and I dry while sitting around eating cheetos, watching Judge Judy on their government subsidized cable TV, and texting with other lazy fucks on their iPhones.

Now lets hear from the a few liberal douchebags about the cruelty of my assessment and how Wall Street does far worse things. I love that line of reasoning. The next time I see one of those shyster lawyer commercials urging me to get what I deserve, maybe I should join the FSASSDI party. You get the added benefit of Medicare coverage after only two years of SSDI stress.   

10,962,532: U.S. Disability Beneficiaries Exceed Population of Greece

CNSNews.com) – The total number of people in the United States now receiving federal disability benefits hit a record 10,962,532 million in April, which exceeds the 10,815,197 people who live in the nation of Greece.

According to newly released data from the Social Security Administration, the record 10,962,532 total disability beneficiaries in April, included a record 8,865,586 disabled workers (up from 8,853,614 in March), 1,936,236 children of disabled workers, and 160,710 spouses of disabled workers.

According to its latest census, Greece had only 10,815,197 residents.

April was the 195th straight month that the number of American workers collecting federal disability payments increased. The last time the number of Americans collecting disability decreased was in January 1997. That month the number of workers taking disability dropped by 249 people—from 4,385,623 in December 1996 to 4,385,374 in January 1997.

As the overall number of American workers collecting disability has increased, the ratio of full-time workers to disability-collecting workers has decreased.

In December 1968, 1,295,428 American workers collected disability and, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 65,630,000 worked full-time. Thus, there were about 51 full-time workers for each worker collecting disability. In April 2013, with a record 8,865,586 American workers collecting disability and 116,053,000 working full-time, there were only 13 Americans working full-time for each worker on disability.

This is what passes for journalism in Amerika today. Anyone who has turned on a MSM news station in the last few days must realize how vacuous, slanted, idiotic, and clueless the average MSM talking head has proven to be. CNN had the suspects captured three days ago. Chris Matthews and the rest of the ultra-libs on MSNBC and CNN had the perps identified as the dreaded right wing anti-tax, Tea Party extremists. Now that their storyline has proven again to be false, just like their bullshit when Jared Loughner shot people in Tucson, I’m sure they will be issuing a heartfelt apology to right wing extremists across the land. I understand Chris Matthews has already endorsed a national ban on all high pressure cooking utensils and ball bearings. The left wing liberals in this country are despicable and dangerous. Almost as despicable and dangerous as the right wing neo-cons who will use this act of terrorism as a reason to beef up our war machine and DHS thugs who couldn’t find a 19 year old wounded kid for 24 hours without some citizen stumbling upon him in his backyard.

In Boston bombing, left wrongly blames right

At this writing, no one knows who planted two bombs in Boston that killed three people, wounded 176 others and forced doctors to amputate the limbs of at least 13 maimed victims. Authorities have yet to arrest the murderer(s), whose motivations remain mysterious.

Nonetheless, while investigators labor valiantly amid such uncertainty, omniscient liberals already have concluded who unleashed this carnage: the far right.

“We really don’t know who did this,” Obama strategist David Axelrod told MSNBC. “It was tax day.” Presumably, the bombs were meant to hammer high tax rates, rather than pressure the much-maligned 1 percent to pay “their fair share.”

• CNN’s Peter Bergen explained that if the bombs contained conventional explosives — instead of al-Qaida’s favorite, hydrogen peroxide — the attackers “might be some other kind of right-wing extremists.” According to CNN’s Tim Lister and Paul Cruickshank, “A senior U.S. counterterrorism investigator told CNN that pressure-cooker bombs have also been a signature of extreme right-wing individuals in the United States who he said tend to revel in building homemade bombs.”

• The Huffington Post’s Nida Kahn tweeted, “We don’t know anything yet of course, but it is tax day & my first thought was all these anti-gov groups…”

• MSNBC’s Chris Matthews declared: “Normally, domestic terrorists, people tend to be on the far right.”

Really? Yes, overzealous pro-lifers justifiably have been jailed for attacking abortion clinics. And truck bomber Timothy McVeigh considered Thomas Jefferson a guiding light. But McVeigh, who was executed in June 2001, also seemed driven to avenge Iraqi civilians killed by America’s armed forces. As he wrote, “When you approve, morally, of the bombing of foreign targets by the U.S. military, you are approving of acts morally equivalent to the bombing in Oklahoma City.”

Matthews must have forgotten the three Occupy Cleveland activists and two others arrested last April for conspiring to bomb an Ohio bridge. According to an FBI affidavit, these liberal extremists wanted everyone to know “that the action was against corporate America and the financial system, and not just some random acts.”

Occupy Wall Street activists have committed arson, vandalism, and even been caught with homemade hand grenades.

One Cape Cod mansion under construction succumbed to arson in November 2010, and another manor was targeted eight days later; it survived when an incendiary device failed. Both properties had graffiti urging sympathizers to “ — the rich,” hardly a conservative battle cry.

In August 2003, Earth Liberation Front eco-terrorists in California torched a Hummer dealership and a housing complex. ELF posted a banner that read: “If you build it, we will burn it.” ELF firebugs inflicted $12 million in damage at a ski resort in Vail, Colo., in 1998.

By pinning Boston’s bombs on the right, the left may humiliate itself yet again. It did so after Jared Lee Loughner opened fire in January 2011, badly injuring former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., and 12 others, and killing six more.

“Violent acts are what happen when you create a climate of hate,” writer Paul Krugman scrawled. “And it’s past time for the GOP’s leaders to take a stand against the hate-mongers.”

“If Sarah Palin . . . does not repudiate her own part in amplifying violence and violent imagery in politics,” MSNBC’s then-host Keith Olbermann demanded, “she must be dismissed from politics.”

Krugman, Olbermann and other lefties looked idiotic when Loughner proved not to be a libertarian, but a lunatic.

“What do chocolate cookies taste like?” Loughner wondered online. Elsewhere he posited: “The government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar.”

The person(s) behind Boston’s carnage may want steep tax cuts, strict cap-and-trade regulations or Sharia law. Perhaps the problem is plain, old-fashioned mental illness. As of Thursday afternoon, no one from President Barack Obama to FBI director Robert Mueller to Massachusetts’ Gov. Deval Patrick, a Democrat, knows who bombed Boylston Street. Until officials identify a culprit and motive, left-wing loudmouths should seal their lips.

Mish is such a downer. Philadelphia isn’t bankrupt, it’s just fiscally challenged. Mish better watch out. His diatribe of factual information is racist from Nutter’s point of view. Maybe Nutter can sell that nice new Zoo parking lot to a Wall Street hedge fund. Maybe Nutter can sell Mantua Square to Blackstone and they can rent it out to people who would actually pay the rent. Maybe Nutter can raise the city wage tax from 4% to 5%. Maybe Nutter can payout more Housing Authority sexual predators millions of dollars to go away. Maybe Nutter can let go of his third Superintendent of Schools with another golden parachute, after they fail to improve education in this urban killzone despite spending $12,000 per child.

Philadelphia is run and has been run by corrupt liberal Democratic, welfare loving, union loving, tax loving douchebags for the last 50 years. Nutter is reaping what he has sowed. Philadelphia, 5th Largest City in US is Effectively Bankrupt; Mayor Holds Closed Meeting With Wall Street to Discuss Asset Sales

 You know a city is in deep trouble when its mayor invites Wall Street but not the press and not private citizens to a closed meeting to discuss the future, including a sell-off of city assets.Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, whose municipality has the lowest credit rating of the five most-populous U.S. cities, did just that.

My translation: Philadelphia is bankrupt. However, that easily discernible fact will of course be denied until it officially happens.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, whose municipality has the lowest credit rating of the five most-populous U.S. cities, will address investors at a conference financed by underwriters and closed to the public and the press.

The invitation bills tomorrow’s meeting as a chance to hear “Philadelphia leaders and investors discuss building the city’s future.”

Philadelphia is hoping to attract investors for the city, which is rated three steps above junk by Standard & Poor’s. The city and its authorities have $8.75 billion in outstanding debt as of September, according to bond documents. Philadelphia’s pension system is 47.6 percent funded this year, the documents say.

Tours of city assets are set for the second day of the conference, including the Philadelphia Gas Works, the largest municipally owned natural-gas utility in the U.S. The city plans to hire a broker to steer the sale of the system, which may fetch as much as $496 million, according to Lazard Ltd. (LAZ)

Sam Katz, chairman of the Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority, created in a 1991 state law that oversees the city’s finances, said that with the conference being held locally, it “certainly created some concern on the part of people that it should be made public.”

He’s more troubled, however, by the fact the school district isn’t on the agenda, he said. Facing a $304 million deficit, school officials have asked the city for $60 million and the state for $120 million.

“The school district’s in a crisis,” Katz said. “They’re the same tax base.”

Philadelphia officials facing a $1.35 billion spending gap over five years voted in March to shut 9 percent of its public schools.

It does not take a genius to figure out what is going on here. Philadelphia is bankrupt. Without even seeing the details, it is safe to assume untenable union wages and pension benefits are at the heart of it all. A 47.6% funded pension is rather telling in and of itself.

Gutless Mayor Michael Nutter does not even have the decency to let the public or the press hear what is going on. Instead he invited Wall Street to a private tour of Philadelphia’s assets, hoping to sell assets and stave off the inevitable.

What fundamental issues is Nutter solving?

Pensions? No
Schools? No
Union Salaries? No
Bloated Payrolls? No
Benefits? No

Instead of inviting Wall Street to a private tour, Nutter ought to be inviting the press and private citizens to a press conference to declare the city’s bankruptcy.

Most relevant to Philadelphia is a ruling the Stockton Bankruptcy is Valid, City Acted in Good Faith. The judicial ruling means bondholders are at risk, and the city will not be forced to raise taxes to pay off creditors.

With those rulings, Philadelphia’s cost of borrowing is likely to soar. Regardless, the city is nothing but a walking zombie now. The end is at hand.

Are liberals the most predicatable creatures on earth? It seems so. Anyone who points out the stupidity and idiocy of their thought process and results of their policies is immediately attacked savagely with the usual screaming and propaganda assault from the liberal MSM like the NYT and MSNBC. The liberal media don’t like that uppity negro – Ben Carson – daring to dance to a different tune regarding black suppression and the welfare state policies that have enslaved blacks in poverty and self pity. The nerve of this guy, being raised in a poor neighborhood by a single mother and becoming a world reknowned surgeon, without using the race card. The leg tinglers at MSNBC and the rest of the liberal MSM are on a mission to destroy the good doctor before he can gain traction as a political candidate. Ben Carson endures predictable liberal assault

 Dr. Ben Carson stepped into the national spotlight in February, when, speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast to an audience that included President Barack Obama, he openly criticized the president’s approach to health care and his overall management of the nation’s economy.

Carson, who is director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, is a hero to many. His rise from a Detroit ghetto to a life of accomplishment and distinction is a story of American ideals on steroids.

Those ideals say that America is about merit, not circumstance. Your life, your achievements are the result of what you do and how you live, not where you came from.

The hard history of blacks in America has always made it a challenge for them to accept this credo. Many still carry a sense that those ideals may be true for whites, but they never were true, and still aren’t true, for blacks.

So in this context, Carson’s story is particularly important. It’s making liberals nervous, and the attacks on him are starting.

He’s now pulled out, under pressure, from giving the commencement address at Johns Hopkins University because some are unhappy with how, in an interview on Fox, he expressed his views regarding the importance of maintaining the integrity of traditional marriage.

Blacks have known about Carson for years. I gave his book, “Gifted Hands,” to my daughters to read when they were little girls. A highly acclaimed made-for-TV movie about his life aired in 2009, with Carson played by Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr.

But this story of personal responsibility, hard work and traditional values is becoming a political story. It is becoming political because Ben Carson’s American dream story, according to the liberal script, is not supposed to work for blacks.

Carson is the biggest threat to liberals since Bill Cosby got out of line at an NAACP banquet in 2004 in Washington, D.C.

Cosby had the temerity to deliver tough, critical talk about what too many blacks are doing with the freedom that civil rights activists of the 1960’s fought to achieve.

He contrasted the Sixties generation with the new generation of black youths sitting in jail: “These are not political criminals. These are people going around stealing Coca-Cola. People getting shot in the back of the head over a piece of pound cake.”

Cosby attributed the chaos to a breakdown in values, family and personal responsibility. It’s the last thing the NAACP crowd wanted to hear that night and Cosby paid a price. He was vilified and marginalized until he backed off.

Liberals never take on what black conservatives actually say because they can’t. So the attacks become personal.

Trillions of tax dollars have been poured into black communities over the last half-century, producing virtually no change in the incidence of black poverty.

Yet, Carson, through diligence and traditional values, achieved on his own what those trillions of dollars of government programs were supposed to deliver.

Liberal black writer Ta-Nehisi Coates put the cards on the table in an article about Cosby that appeared in The Atlantic magazine in 2008. The typical black conservative votes for Democrats, he notes, “not out of love for abortion rights … but because he feels…. that the modern-day GOP draws on support of people who hate him.”

Stoking paranoia about racism has always been the strategy of liberals to fend off the political threat of conservative values that so many church-going blacks embrace.

Predictably, Coates has produced a New York Times column on Carson, reducing this great man to the usual caricature of a black empty suit manipulated by white conservatives.

Ben Carson is an accomplished and wealthy man. Americans, certainly black Americans, need him in public life more than he needs to be in public life. Let’s hope the left wing and the haters of traditional morality don’t succeed in making him conclude it’s not worth it.
