The Final Cut is Pink Floyd’s masterpiece written on the subject of war. It was heavily influenced by Roger Waters, and is filled with his lyrical, haunting, simple, gorgeous melodies. The music is deeply evocative, emotive, and has profound pathos, telling of the horrors of war and what is does both to humanity and to individuals. This is the full album. On the eve of what might be WWIII, this is worth a listen.
