What the heck is really going on? This explains it all.

Shortly after 9/11, Vice President Dick Cheney instructed the National Security State to view all Americans as potential threats.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) were created specifically for this purpose. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) came along in 2002, and within the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) was formed.

The DHS, ODNI, DOJ and FBI became the four pillars of a NEW institution. Atop these pillars is where you will find the Fourth Branch of Government – the Intelligence Branch.

After September 11, 2001, the US electronic surveillance system – that was originally created to monitor threats from abroad – was retooled to monitor threats inside our own country.  That is when all of our electronic ‘metadata’ came under federal surveillance. That’s exactly what Edward Snowden tried to point out.

Later, Barack Obama and Eric Holder weaponized that national surveillance system so that their political opposition became the MAIN targets. I believe Obama hired Podesta to complete this task.

The preexisting Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Justice (DOJ) were then repurposed to become two of the four pillars of the domestic national security apparatus: a domestic surveillance state.

In an Era Defined by Shortages, Immigration Overages Hurt All

In Congress, an inverse relationship exists between the numbers of border crossers and a discussion about how millions of new migrants will be cared for. The greater the numbers, the less is said about open borders and the resultant negative long-term population consequences.

The latest border report indicates that immigration agents stopped about 7,100 worldwide migrants each day during a recent week, up from February’s daily 6,800 average. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz said the total includes 1,500 Cubans, well more than double the daily average from February. Because of diplomatic challenges and the expense of sending them home, Cubans are automatically released into the interior to pursue asylum claims.

Biden Violates ‘Take Care’ Clause

Via Progressives for Immigration Reform

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Arizona, Jan. 2022.

Finally! Vice President Kamala Harris, during a recent interview, said that the effects of the Biden administration’s border policy won’t be realized “overnight.” Let’s calculate just how accurate Harris is. Between now and January 2024, and using 2021 when 2 million aliens crossed into the United States as a model, the Biden administration will likely allow 8 million illegal immigrants to unlawfully enter and settle in the U.S. The “effect” on local communities, schools, transportation and hospitals will be incalculable.

Summary of Terrorism Threat to the U.S. Homeland

The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information (MDM) introduced and/or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors. These threat actors seek to exacerbate societal friction to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions to encourage unrest, which could potentially inspire acts of violence. Mass casualty attacks and other acts of targeted violence conducted by lone offenders and small groups acting in furtherance of ideological beliefs and/or personal grievances pose an ongoing threat to the nation. While the conditions underlying the heightened threat landscape have not significantly changed over the last year, the convergence of the following factors has increased the volatility, unpredictability, and complexity of the threat environment: (1) the proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions; (2) continued calls for violence directed at U.S. critical infrastructure; soft targets and mass gatherings; faith-based institutions, such as churches, synagogues, and mosques; institutions of higher education; racial and religious minorities; government facilities and personnel, including law enforcement and the military; the media; and perceived ideological opponents; and (3) calls by foreign terrorist organizations for attacks on the United States based on recent events.

House Democrats Launch Investigation into Maricopa County Audit

The results of the Maricopa county audit aren’t public but House Democrats and the entire Deep State apparatus are already planning an “investigation” to contest the results of the audit.

Panic in DC…

By Sundance via TheConservativeTreehouse

The DC Swamp is launching an investigation into the Maricopa County, Arizona, election and ballot audit.  This should not come as a surprise after several strategy sessions in DC between the White House, executive branch, congress and allied media have taken place.

The issue is: “how to keep the illegitimacy of the current regime from surfacing.” [pdf of letter to Arizona auditors here]

The 2020 U.S. election was filled with fraud; in order to retain that fraud extreme measures are now being taken to impede, block, halt and stop any election audit that will reveal the corrupt activity.   Congress has selected the House Oversight and Reform Committee to lead the effort against Arizona.  The Committee’s letter requests documents and communications related to Cyber Ninja’s audit procedures, funding sources, and related issues by July 28, 2021.

DHS Issues New Terror Advisory On “Domestic Violent Extremists” Who “Object To Presidential Transition”

Via ZeroHedge

On Wednesday the Department of Homeland Security issued a new “National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin” or NTAS for the United States.

Past updated bulletins in more “normal” times typically mention not being aware of a specific or credible threats, or there’s often vague warnings of a potential “Iranian threat” – such as was the case last spring in the wake of the killing of Iranian IRGC General Qassem Soleimani.

But the newest DHS posting emphasized the “domestic threat” of “ideologically-motivated violent extremists” with objections to “the presidential transition” — a clear reference to the Capitol Hill riot of January 6, as well as to the “predicted” follow-up mass demonstrations and assaults on D.C. which never materialized (resulting in thousands of bored National Guardsmen sauntering around Washington).

Anti-Lockdown Protesters Could Become Violent If US Revives Quarantine Measures, DHS Warns

Lockdowns and strict social distancing rules have collapsed local economies, led to depression-level unemployment, and sparked outrage among many Americans, resulting in nationwide reopening protests. A new report via the Department of Homeland Security Counterterrorism Mission Center, first seen by ABC News, warns if additional lockdowns are seen, it could very well spark violence.

“A variety of illicit actors are responding violently to stay-at-home orders and social distancing measures in place due to COVID-19, and we assess both public and private authority figures and essential workers are at highest risk of being targeted, particularly as the pandemic persists,” DHS said in the report, which was distributed to law enforcement and the federal government agencies last week.

STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND

“Thinking doesn’t pay. Just makes you discontented with what you see around you.”Robert A. Heinlein, Stranger in a Strange Land

When I read quotes by men like H.L. Mencken and Robert Heinlein, I realize I’m not really a stranger in a strange land, even though I feel that way most of the time. These cynical, critical thinking, libertarian minded gentlemen understood government tended towards corruption and tyranny, the populace tended towards ignorance and distraction, and reality eventually teaches a harsh lesson to fools, knaves and dumbasses.

Sometimes we think the current day worldly circumstances are new and original, when human nature, politicians, and governments never really change. When Mencken and Heinlein were writing and providing social commentary during the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, they observed the same fallacies, foolishness, lack of self-responsibility, government malfeasance, and inability of the majority to think critically, that are rampant in society today.

Trump’s Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing

Guest Post by Kevin Lynn

On November 11, Chad Wolf, acting Under Secretary for Strategy, Policy and Plans at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and former Chief of Staff for Kirstjen Nielsen who served for two years as DHS Secretary, will replace Kevin McAleenan as Secretary for DHS.

As his reason for resigning, McAleenan said he wanted to spend more time with family. It’s too bad, because, according to Wikipedia, McAleenan had some chops. He practiced law and then after 9/11 joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) where he worked in a number of anti-terrorism roles. Following his tenure there, he became the Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection. So, he had solid experience when it came to immigration policy and border protection.

Acting DHS Chief ‘Sabotaged’ ICE Raids By Leaking Plan To Washington Post

Via ZeroHedge

Since the Washington Post spoiled the surprise and published a report about the Trump Administration’s plan to arrest thousands of migrant families who have been denied asylum – prompting the administration to cancel the raids – many have probably been wondering why somebody inside would break President Trump’s longstanding policy of not telegraphing your moves in advance.

Well, now that question appears to have been answered by the Washington Examiner: The acting head of DHS, Kevin McAleenan, reportedly leaked the details of the operation (he traveled alongside the WaPo reporter who broke the story earlier this week) in what sources described as a deliberate attempt to sabotage the raids.

Trump Appoints Old Pal Kevin McCallister As New DHS Secretary

Via The Babylon Bee

WASHINGTON, D.C.—After the resignation of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, President Trump was quick to appoint a replacement: 10-year-old Kevin McCallister.

“This kid knows how to defend a home,” Trump told the press, referring to two incidents when the child was stranded without his parents and had to defend himself from burglars with a series of makeshift traps. During the second time, when McCallister found himself alone in the city of New York, Trump met the child and quickly became friends with him after hearing how he hit a burglar in the face with a paint can.

DHS Releases 84.5K Border Crossers, Illegal Aliens into U.S. in Two Months

Via Breitbart

EL PASO, TEXAS - FEBRUARY 01: Central American immigrants walk between a Bollard-style border fence, left, and the older "legacy" fence after crossing the Rio Grande from Mexico on February 01, 2019 in El Paso, Texas. The migrants later turned themselves in to U.S. Border Patrol agents, seeking political asylum …

The Department of Homeland Security released 84,500 foreign family members into the United States since December after they crossed through the U.S.-Mexico border, Breitbart News has confirmed.

In newly confirmed federal data from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, Breitbart News has learned the massive scale and scope of DHS’s ramped up Catch and Release policy.

For months, DHS officials have said privately that the Catch and Release program has been taken to new heights, while ICE union officials declared this week that the program was in “overdrive” under the direction of DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.
