A few weeks ago, I saw the above quote in Jeff Thomas’ article Learning from Ants, and it has been reverberating in my mind ever since. It is a perfect analogy for what has been happening in this country for years, with the jar lately being shaken at a rate faster than a Biden vote count increase at 3:00 am in a swing state. Everyone in this country, and the world, is at each other’s throats. Who is shaking the jar? Why are they shaking the jar? Why do they want us fighting each other?

If they keep us focused on fighting each other, they believe we will not notice their reprehensible criminality, as they manipulate the masses through psychological engineering and the employment of propaganda techniques to push their desired narrative. If you ask someone – who is shaking the jar? – they will likely answer based on the standard left vs right, liberal vs conservative, white vs black paradigm which has been created by those benefiting from conflict. It is always a safe bet to follow the money when trying to identify the culprits.

DEMORALIZED, DEPRESSED, DETACHED & DEFIANT

I’ve now been running The Burning Platform blog for over ten years. It’s been over eleven years since I wrote my first article – Why We Need Ron Paul – in May 2008 during the Republican primaries. I really thought I could change enough minds through my writing to influence voters and help wake up people to the truth about our deteriorating financial situation. I would send op-eds to my local paper, and they would publish them. My articles on Seeking Alpha in 2008/2009 were the most read and commented on their site.

My assessment of the Wall Street banks, coming financial crisis and recession were accurate enough that I was being sought out by Glenn Beck on CNN, Neal Cavuto on Fox, and Maria Bartiromo on CNBC to be interviewed on their shows. I didn’t want that kind of attention, since it would likely have negatively impacted my day job – which actually supported my family.

The Scary Timing of October 31, 2016

Earlier this week I posted an article regarding the Saturday, March 4th, 2017 wiretapping allegations that were Tweeted by Trump. In that essay, I mentioned the timing of the Obama Administration’s two FISA requests to surveil Trump, including one which was approved in October 2016; and I wondered regarding Hillary Clinton’s knowledge of the matter:

THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA – 2011

Written in September 2011 when I still believed the country could be saved. My passion has dimmed considerably over the last five years. Libertarianism does not work during a Fourth Turning. Maybe after the death and destruction wrought by those in control, people will come to their senses. And maybe not.

“Though the Federal Reserve policy harms the average American, it benefits those in a position to take advantage of the cycles in monetary policy. Ernest Hemingway and Ron Paul never met. Ron Paul was completing medical school in 1961 when Hemingway committed suicide at his home in Idaho. I think they would have hit it off. I stumbled across the quote from Hemingway above. Those words could have come directly out of the mouth of Ron Paul. Both men spent their whole lives seeking the truth and presenting their ideas in a blunt straightforward manner. Hemingway is one of the most renowned writers in American history, with classics such as A Farewell to Arms, For Whom the Bell Tolls, and The Sun Also Rises to his credit.

He won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1954. He constructed a new literary style characterized by lean, hard, sparse dialogue. He influenced literature and young authors for decades. As a teenager I was immediately drawn to his gritty realistic novels. There was no nonsense to his novels. They always involved man’s struggle against death and hardship. Most of his best work was done in the 1920s and 1930s, but he produced one of his finest works in 1951 towards the end of his life. Hemingway won the Pulitzer Prize for his story about an epic battle between an old man and a great marlin.

MSM & GOP ESTABLISHMENT FURIOUS THAT TRUMP WON THE DEBATE

Fox News and the rest of the elitist MSM are apoplectic about Trump’s continued support. They have chosen Bush and Clinton as the candidates we’re supposed to vote for. Bush was pathetic. Walker was pathetic. Paul was disappointing. Christie was a jackass. Trump despises the media talking heads and makes it clear when answering their ridiculous questions. I love watching the right wing and left wing media both try to bring down Trump, while the increasingly angry public gives him more support. We’ve been screwed by the two parties for decades. They are corrupt, captured and working for the same corporate interests. Trump is an egocentric, blustering, asshole who doesn’t give a crap what the elitists think about him. The more the elitists try to bring him down, the more support he will get from the average American. The elitists are reaping what they’ve sown.

Last night’s debate in Cleveland was the first of many chances for the GOP establishment to dethrone Donald Trump from the top position in polls, and Fox News moderators Megyn Kelly, Chris Wallace and Bret Baier came out swinging with some surprisingly difficult questions. Although most pundits think the debate was a “tie” between several candidates, an amalgamation of different user polls show Donald Trump is hard to bump.

We averaged three big online user polls as of 11:30am Eastern Time that account for over 600,000 votes including: The Drudge Report, Time.com, and Slate. There were small differences in the percentages on each poll, but one thing is clear: Trump is still on top for much of the electorate:

Dear Ms. Kelly

I watch your show pretty regularly. I think you are an excellent news broadcaster and a charming person. You have a prime time slot enabling you to inform and influence millions of people every day.

I am saddened to see that you are neglecting one of the most critical stories of the year, month, week: the House Republican leadership boldly helping President O. achieve passage of the top-secret Trans Pacific Partnership agreement, which is plainly yet another initiative to weaken this country on several fronts. In fact, from what has been leaked, it has the potential to basically destroy our national sovereignty.

Ironically, the President’s own party is alarmed at this legislation and is trying to block it because of the further bleeding of American jobs it will yield. The Pres. and the Republicans are attempting to fast-track the treaty, abdicating their duty to their constituents and the nation as a whole to publicly discuss and analyze such a critical piece of legislation. Apparently the GOP is now OK with the Pelosi Doctrine, “You have to pass it so you can see what it says.” The hypocrisy is breathtaking, don’t you think?

I appreciate your concern with the Duggar situation. I understand you are worried about the two escaped convicts running around. What I don’t get is why these issues are worth a lot of air time, but the TPP isn’t. As an American who grows more cynical and angry at the shenanigans and corruption in DC, I believe you don’t report this story because it doesn’t line up with someone’s agenda at FNC. How you reconcile this personally is none of my business. I understand you have a wonderful job.

I’m so thankful for the alternative media sites that inform and educate me about topics the mainstream media (yes, Fox is one of ‘em) suppresses. Truly, the alphabet networks and Fox grow more irrelevant by the day.

One more thing: Please stop trotting out Dana Perino to comment negatively on Rand Paul’s campaign whenever he says something controversial. It’s the Agenda again.

COLIN POWELL ON IRAQ: “YOU BREAK IT YOU OWN IT”

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and Powell should be forced to watch the videos below over and over. They are solely responsible for what has happened in Iraq. This isn’t Obama’s fault. It’s the fault of the neo-cons that wasted $1.5 trillion of our wealth, killed or maimed 50,000 American soldiers, murdered hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis, and have unleashed religious wars across the Middle East. The military industrial complex thanks them heartily. Colin Powell said this to President Bush before the Iraq invasion:

“You are going to be the proud owner of 25 million people. You will own all their hopes, aspirations, and problems. You’ll own it all.”

The dark lord – Dick Cheney – will be wheeled onto the set of neo-con warmonger Sean Hannity to blame Obama and his weakness for this disaster. The neo-cons will circle the wagons to deflect blame for the worst decision in modern US history. Oil prices were $25 per barrel on the day we invaded Iraq under false neo-con pretenses. Today it is $107 per barrel. That was only 11 years ago. The amount of blood on the hands of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and the rest of the neo-con warmongers is too large to calculate. Do you think the Iraqi people have any hopes or aspirations left?

As a shocking picture of the ISIS insurgency continues to develop, the Islamist group are posting barbaric videos online with the intent of showing the world they will stop at nothing to achieve their end game. The aim is to terrorise Sunnis in Iraq’s army and police forces and deepen their already low morale. It appears to be working as that fear is one factor behind the stunning collapse of Iraqi security forces.
