Below is the scanned images of the 4 page resignation letter of Craig Mokhiber, Director of the New York Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. He is one of the world’s leading international lawyers.
The key (for me) paragraph is the last one on the first page. It reads:
“This is a text-book case of genocide. The European, ethno-nationalist, settler colonial project in Palestine has entered its final phase, toward the expedited destruction of the last remnants of indigenous Palestinian life in Palestine. What’s more, the governments of the United States, the United Kingdom, and much of Europe, are wholly complicit in the horrific assault. Not only are these governments refusing to meet their treaty obligations “to ensure respect” for the Geneva Conventions, but they are in fact actively arming the assault, providing economic and intelligence support, and giving political and diplomatic cover for Israel’s atrocities”

Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Kahri has vowed that “Israel will use all means at its disposal to fight” SpaceX CEO Elon Musk’s planned provision of Starlink internet access to Gaza.
“Hamas will use it for terrorist activities,” Kahri claimed in a post on X (formerly Twitter), adding that “there is no doubt about it, we know it, and Musk knows it.”

Israel’s conflict with Palestinian militant group Hamas could become even more violent and drag on for years to come if Israeli forces launch a group operation in Gaza, former CIA chief David Petraeus warned in an interview with Politico on Thursday.
Speaking on the outlet’s Power Play podcast, the US general, who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, claimed that a ground invasion of Gaza by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) “could be Mogadishu on steroids very quickly.”

President Donald Trump’s Abraham Accords, in which the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan established relations with Israel, appear now to be on hold. For, on Sunday, a statement by the 57-nation Organization of Islamic Cooperation called for an immediate halt to what it described as Israel’s barbaric attacks on Gaza and blamed “systematic crimes” against the Palestinians for the fighting which has lasted for a week.
“Israel is Winning Battles, Hamas is Winning the War.”
So ran the headline in the Jerusalem Post atop an analysis of the Gaza war, which began, “The IDF is registering great achievements in Operation Guardian of the Walls, but meanwhile the house appears to be collapsing from within.”
Hard to disagree.
Consider this New York Times commentary about Israel’s prime minister from the runner-up to the Democratic presidential nominee in the primaries of 2016 and 2020, Sen. Bernie Sanders:

Today’s news from Gaza was especially disturbing. Israeli snipers shot 40 protesters and killed one of them: Razan al-Najjar, a 21-year-old volunteer medic. She was wearing a white coat when she was shot, news accounts say, and one report says she was attempting to tend a wounded protester.
Update: Her funeral was Saturday June 2, and thousands attended.
I never thought I would say this but Putin and Paul Craig Roberts are exactly correct. The worst thing to happen in the past 30 years was the destruction of the Soviet Union. All the destruction of the Evil Empire accomplished was for the US to take its place and so far it has managed to surpass it in its capacity for evil.
“If the arabs lay down their weapons there will be peace. If the Israelis lay down their weapons there will be no Israel.”
I have heard this line repeated thousands of times, but it’s repeat doesn’t make it any less of a lie. There are people, some of them on this site, who will still cling to the lie even after reading this article. Truth, it’s not for *most* Americans.

That is what Israeli Prime Minster Levi Eshkol said in 1967 about Gaza, as revealed in newly declassified documents from the time. Ofer Aderet of Haaretz reported about this today.

It should be obvious to anyone with eyes and a brain that Israel is the #1 sponsor of state terrorism in the world. It’s crimes occur with such frequency that it is impossible to keep up with them all. This of course is the real reason the AIPAC-owned GoP is so rabid about the #Iran deal, because with Iran off the media radar, attention would be refocused on their brutal occupations of Gaza and the West Bank, where atrocities occur on a daily basis.
